Hotel Description:

Without question the Seva is the greatest place to stay in Kardamena, if not the world! Nothing else in town comes close and you'll see that this is where it all happens. The pool could well be the centre of the universe and the poolside bar has seats in the water so you can sip on a cool refresher while your toes wrinkle. The atmosphere is fantastic and there's even an indoor pool as well. Come and play.

" Expensive! "

When me and my Cousion arived at Seva our room wasnt available to us for some time which we found a little anoying after a long day.
When we got into the room it was massive with 2 balconies and 5 beds when there was only 2 of us!
It was very clean and tidy.
Disapointing was the sun loungers and how dirty they were covered in ants.
We had our meeting with our 2wentys reps who took 100 quid off us up front for the weeks activites.
I had been on a 2wentys holiday previous to Kos and dont remember it being that expensive.
Once on the nights out, stag and hen, school disco, pub golf, water party @ starlight they were lots of fun, lots of drinking games etc.
The nights we didnt go out with the reps were just as good, one night we went to a UV party at Status which was amazing, free UV painting and UV paint coming out off the roof, we were covered!
We loved 2wentys rep Kelly who had just come over from Zante to finish off the season in Kos she was so much fun and made our holiday.
Pork chops was also so funny and quite hot, but defo a ladies man!
I really enjoyed our jollies in Kos and at the Seva, the downer was at the end when we had to pay 18euros for 2 towels and 2 sheets which anoyed us quite a bit.
Also having to buy drinks from the hotel bar was v expensive up to 8 euros for a drink and I once bought some chips that were frozen in the middle ( not good).
Good tip girls is to get friendly with Rich who works behind the bar and he will let u sneak ur own drinks down to the pool.
Defo go to the beach as its beautiful, clear blue water where u can see the fish swimming around ur feet gorgeous! Also defo go on the Crazy Sqaub, we got whip lash off it, but it was well worth it!
Altogether an amazing holiday! Woop!

Advice: Beautiful place and gorgeous beach!

Activities: Fave restaurant was Captins on the front by the beach yummy!

" Best Holiday ever :) "

This was my first holiday on my own with friends and I really enjoyed it! Had my 19th birthday there and the staff and 2wentys reps made sure that I had the best day ever, and it worked! The staff there are lovely and so much fun, although they are pretty strict on the damages of sheets and towels. We stayed there for 2 weeks and were lucky enough to not get charged! My advice is to either take your own pillow or some pillow cases, and also use your own towels and most importantly, take TRAVEL WASH! was a life saver if you find the occassional smudge of make-up on the sheets!
There are plenty of bars which will offer you great cheap deals to drink in their bar! The clubs are amazing, although we regret not going on peak season as Starlight (foam party) wasn't open, but it looks amazing! Status club is amazing!
Seva has a brilliant big pool that is really clean (althouh wouldn't recommend the indoor pool, crazy rumours concerning STD's!!) and there are plenty of sun loungers for everyone. Only downside is that you can't take your own food/drink which has been purchased elsewhere as the owner doesn't have the licence so have to buy it at the Seva bar. Me and my friends were quite sneaky and reused the bottles bought at the bar and filled them up in our apartments! Saved us alot of money!
Has to be said that Kardamena is a beautiful place, and if you can afford it, I'd definely recommend a day out in Kos town!
However, the 2wentys reps really made my holiday so would highly recommend you do what they offer! They are great fun so a big thanks to Ben, Skills, Ruth, CJ, Pimms and Chris (Titch) You are the best reps out there, and they don't force you to do things that you don't want to do, like start drinking at 8am (can if you want to though, bar is open 24/7) so if you want a chilled out day sunbathing and relaxing then a messy night, this is the place for you! :)
Don't let the other reviews make you dread your holiday, it is true that they charge stupid amounts for damages, but if you respect them then they respect you :) Just go out and enjoy you're holiday like we did and make amazing memories :)
xxx

Advice: It's awesome. Full stop!

Activities: All restaurants are amazing and cheap

" Be prepared to be ripped off when checking out  "

Well if you have read reviews like we did, saying that the hotel will charge for damages when checking out for things like towels and sheets - then it is true!!! After reading reviews my friend and I went prepared with our own towels and own sheets, and upon checking out were told we could not have our safety deposit back due to damages (sheets and towels). After complaining to our reps and the owner we were reimbursed but not without being told to '[--] off from Seva and never come back'.
Of the four groups we had got to know over the holiday that were also checking out on the same day as us, we were all told we owed charges from 20 euro to 45 euro. If you go on this holiday you should expect to be charged. My friend and I are in our late twenties and responsible and respectful of things around us. We were incredibly shocked to find we too would be charged.
We have put an official complaint into Thomson as I believe it is there responsibility to select hotels that they can trust. The reps seemed to think that it was out of there control, but I believe booking with a so called reliable company that this kind of thing would be dealt with when siging agreements.

Advice: It's a great place to party with like minded brits. The PRs are cool and the atmosphere electric.

Activities: 3 island cruise would be best value for money and most enjoyable!!!

" Seva, Kos, Kardamena "

Staying at a cheap hotel for a week in a bit of sunshine was the main objective of our week away.
What we got was crazily friendly staff, full time fun-time reps, an amazing set of workers and guests making our holiday one of the most enjoyable ever taken!
Don't get me wrong, it's no 5 star - The maids visit daily for mopping and cleaning, but only change linen and towels twice a week, with toilet paper having to be bought at the local supermarket. That is the one and only gripe of our entire stay because it was a clean and tidy hotel with a great pool and bar. The Seva is a local hang out for the workers in the area because of the friendly atmosphere and the 24hour bar! Everyone is like one big family and it wasn't long before everyone knew everyone there.
Would I go back? Probably not to Kardamena. I felt like once you've been once you've seen most of it. Kos Town would maybe be an option. But as for the hotel. If I could pick up that hotel and its workers and pop it in every country I went to I would be very happy!

" Seva Best Hotel In Kos "

I thought the Seva was amazing. The staff made us feel very welcome when we arrived and got us hitting the shots and drinks at 4am...nice! The owner George is a great man and as long as you dont piss him off hell make sure you have the best time of your live in the Seva. The Seva offers 24 hour drinking which was good if your animals like me and my mates who didnt stop drinking till about 8am. It also does 24 hour food , the pizzas at 4am went down a treat. If you like your football they have a gigantic cinema size screen which shows all the premiership games. In the day the place is a cool , bubbly place as everyone chills out around the pool while club tunes is being pumped out through the speakers. The pool is a decent size and offers many sun beds for you to top your tan.Kardemena itself is a place with a great atmosphere didnt see any trouble at all. Bars id reccomend are C-Vue & one not to miss out on is Bar Republic , the owner George (another one)is a top geeza and puts on fantastic deals. The 2 main clubs Status and Starlight were banging! The rooms in the Seva were fairly basic but they do the job, all your in there to do is get ready and then pass out when you get back from the clubs. One thing i would say though is try not to lose any towels or get them dirty because they were hot on charging people for damaging or losing things within the room. If you want air con (which is a must) in your room get it on arrival from the bar, you pay a deposit its not that expensive. Finally I'd say to anyone thinking about going to the Seva...do it...It's the best hotel in Kos by a mile for the 18-30 age group its banging with 24 hr music and 24 hr drink and is located bang in the centre of Kardemena only a 5 min walk from Bar and Clubs! Don't miss out on it! A thanks to George and Johhny (Security) for making us have the best holiday ever! Yamas! Jokasquad!

Advice: Seva doesnt sleep and nor will you in this 24 hour party day by day! Best Hotel In Kos!

Activities: Restuarants to go to definately are Nemos & Alexanders....

" Seva uncovered! "

I would not stay at the Seva ever again - if u want 2b sleep deprived for a whole week then fine but i didn't. If u plan on partyin 24/7 then definately the Seva is the place to be with 24hr bar & music. You cannot even relax in the day the music is that loud when u are trying to chill-out & sunbathe. Me & my mate were lucky if we got 10 hours sleep the whole week, we came home totally drained with black bags under r eyes. The apartments have glass door therefore when the sun comes up you have no chance of sleep the room is that bright & the toilets sunk of eggs all wk the drains were that bad. Apart from that the apartments were basic but clean at least!
However, on a gud note, I've been to 3 greek islands (Corfu, Zante & Kos) & Kos is by far the nicest. We had gorgeous weather for the whole 7days we were there reaching in the 40 degrees almost everyday! Kardamena is great for a lively holiday but its for the young only, at 23 I felt old - honestly!! 2 places to eat are; The Fat Olive by day on the beach front near McDonalds & the Avli by night just off the square near The English Pub - this restaurant serves the best food I've ever tasted in my life! :-) We went on a Greek night which was fantastic, a cheap nite with great food, people, wine & music!
I think I would go back to Kardamena but NOT the Seva apartments!

Advice: Great place!

Activities: The Fat Olive & the Avli

" Best holiday ever! "

I have been on my fair share of lively holiday but none of them beat Kardamena!
Not only is the place fantastic the Seva and staff are awesome! Yeah ok, so the hotel is basic - but u get what u pay for! It was clean enough and the facilities are good! You know it's not all bad, when neighbouring hotel guests are constantly there whether its day(to use the pool) or night (to take advantage of the 24hour bar).
Alot of people on here are moaning at the bar prices, but for the whole week I was there, there was happy hour from 6-8pm and all shots were 1 euro for 30mins, every few hours!
If you dont act like an [-]hole, the staff are great and infact - on there nights off a few of them even came to Status with us! In 2 words the hotel and staff are, basic and brilliant!
Coming home from Kos was the worst holiday comedown iv ever had! Iv booked again for this year and cannot wait!
People who dont enjoy Kardamena or the Seva just dont know how to have a good time!
If u are considering the Seva - go for it, it will not be regretted!!
Enjoy xx

" Was disgusted with the Seva... "

Was disgusted with the Seva apartment, we had cracked toilet seat, the door handle kept falling off every time we locked the door and we got charged 54 euros on departure for dirty towels, pillow cases. Reason for dirty towels probably was because the floors were so dirty and not cleaned that all 6 parties had filthy dirty feet and used to towels to clean them! Sounds like it wasnt just us that got charged for damages on this holiday as several others were explaining what they got charged for, maybe this is how they make their profit! Also for a self catering accommodation food bought from outside the hotel was not permitted in the pool area!

The resort itself was lively and enjoyable just the apartment that was not impressed with and wouldnt recommend it to anybody in the future!

" Me and my freind booked our holiday... "

Me and my freind booked our holiday last minute and were told that Seva would ba a great place to stay as we are young and would enjoy all the clubs and pubs near the hotel.
BUT great was not the word!!!!!!!!!
when we arrived at our hotel it was disgusting there was a constant smell of shit in the air and the shower was just a shower head so the water ran all ova our rooom. there was no bath and the water from the shower stunk. we wer left with the same towels for the whole week and the noise that kept us awake at night was ridiculous, we are only young ourselves and enjoy partying but not being able 2 sleep for the whole week because of the noise was over the top.
the 2wentys reps were funny and great to get along with, but being told that one of the reps had chlymedia and wasnt getting rid of it untill he went home as the medicine in Kos was to expensive made us feel sick. we were also told that we could not enter the indoor pool as where so many people had had sex in it there was tests that proved it had STD'S in it.
then to top things off at the end of our stay we were charged for making the towels dirty even though they were dirty before we used them.
the nightlife and pubs seemed okay but i would never go there again

" Right to start with me and my... "

Right to start with me and my girlfrind booked this week long holiday with only a few weeks to spare. In the brouchure it looked fantastic, but someone did well with photoshop as rather that 3* its more like 1*. Ive never bothered to leave feedback on here before but thought i'd better. The hotel is only for groups of very young boys or girls as you have no chance of sleeping ever with huge amounts of noise 24 hrs a day. Ive been on group holidays but didnt see why they would enjoy it either.

You had to purchase the airconditioning as it was unbeleivalbly hot, as if you open the windows the noise was much worse (thats an extra 70 euros but worked well). The rooms themselves were ok for a base but the bathroom was shocking with pre war suit with half a shower(covered in groud in dirt) and minging toilet that stunk of wee when we got there! Theres 6 beds with only two of us but we had to try and find a clean towel as most had yellow or brown stains on!(i know alot of other guests got billed for making stains when they were also there at the start) The floor was covered in grime when we got there making our feet black in minutes and diidnt get cleaned when we were there.
The indoor pool had a layer of sand in the bottom and socks etc the whole time we were there.

The staff were good for the groups, but a guy called jack was the most friendly. I cant comment on how the reps helped as i didnt bother to ask their help but they seemed on the ball. It wer'nt all bad- the outside pool was fairly clean and large with free sunbeds and live sports were shown on big screens. The resort itself was great for anyone plenty of bars and clubs but also nice resturants and cocktail bars. I didnt get why Seva had such pricey food and drink, for example pint of lager 4 euros 20 meters down the road it was 2 euros, it was like that with most of it??

My advice is to go to the resort but stay somewhere else even if your a group as you can use their free pool where there are alot of hot bods but stay somehwere where you didnt have to kill 7 cockroaches on your first night when they were crawlin over your beds! Also somewhere that dosnt ask you to check out at midday when your pickup is at 01.15 in the morning then charge you 30 more euros to stay until 8!!!

" didnt stay at the seva but a hotel... "

didnt stay at the seva but a hotel nearby, had access to the seva though and spent most of my sober time there, and some drunken times too. everything about this hotel was pure banter and all 8 of the girls i went with had major depression when we got home. everyone i met there was awesome, made loads of great friends and still speak to the reps...skills and cj made our holiday, possibly the best reps around. chris behind the bar in the seva we love you, great banter. girl behind the pool bar was brill for dancing on the bar in a drunken state from 11am-8pm..hell yes. food was great, drinks were definately not for the faint hearted. had the best times of my life so far in this hotel, one of them being sleeping on the sunloungers in full clubbing attire so we could be the first in the pool, only to wake up at 12 in the afternoon surrounded by bikini clad onlookers. banterrrr

" What a truly wonderful place to... "

What a truly wonderful place to stay!! This hotel never sleeps!! I enjoyed it so much I'm planning to go back at the beginning of September.

Staff are helpful and friendly, room was cleaned everyday, bins were emptied daily and towels and sheets changed pretty much everyday. Everything that you could want for young groups of girls/boy, the pool bar and 24 hour hotel bar are definately the highlights!! A nicely sized pool and also a Jacquizzi.

Everything and anything you could want in a hotel!!
