We had an amazing time in Kardamena....
9 / 10
Aug 2006, Not Specified

We had an amazing time in Kardamena. We definitely stayed in the right place the seva, it was the only place to stay that was not boring and dull. We were expecting the seva to be the worst place we had ever stayed in after reading some of the reviews saying everyone went back to the seva once the clubs closed but it wasn’t, although people came back it weren’t the whole of Kardamena.
The music begins in the morning at about 10am but if you got in at 6 am very drunk then you tend not to notice it. Although you will want to get up at that time anyway to get the sun.
We always found sun beds available by the pool if you go before 12.
Bar street at night is amazing. (Prepare for all the reps to try and get you into their bars) they are funny though. We went to a foam party at starlight, very good, we preferred starlight to status although there is not much difference. We went to the clubs every night, very cheap to get in.
We went to bubble beach for a day, really enjoyed it, the beach was lovely and there is a little water park there with trampolines in the sea. Definitely worth a visit.
The reps were very helpful, they let you choose what you want to do and do harass you.
Do not go to Amazon, we went to Amazon and every single person in our group was ill the next day, and afterwards we heard there were a lot of people who had got food poisoning from there. It says it all in the price, 15 euros for everything.

One down side to the seva is that once you leave you are more than likely to get charged for something, which really upset us because we did nothing wrong e.g. for some sheets or pillow cases if you get make up on them.
Other than that we had a brilliant time and really miss all the people we met there. :-)

Aug 2006, Mr Ryan Kay

Went to Seva for 2 weeks and have just got back home today! If you’re going to Greece, Kos, Kardamena then Seva is the place to stay! Absolutely unbelievable. Ok it’s not 5 star luxury rating but the atmosphere and everything about the place is 500 star! Believe me if you experience Seva, nothing will ever compete!
24/7 bar is amazing, after a night of hardcore clubbing, coming back to see 200 people in the Seva bar getting drunk until early hours is brilliant!
The only downside I can comment on is the lack of bathroom comfort! The shower water smells of egg and I would hardly call it a shower! But in all honesty, get over it because you are in for the best time of your lives!
The reps for 2wentys are unreal. George the owner is a legend! (Get on the right side of him). Enjoy!

My friend and I stayed at the Seva...
10 / 10
Jun 2006, Miss S L Greene

My friend and I stayed at the Seva apartments for a week in June 04, we had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a lively time. The pool is massive and there are plenty of sun beds, there was also a really nice guy who worked in the bar who would serve drinks to you on your sun bed so no need to get up!
Our stay coincided with Euro 2004 and the hotel put up a massive screen by the pool so we could all enjoy the games. The bar in the hotel was always busy, it was nice to come back from the pubs/clubs and meet up with people you'd met previous nights and around the pool etc as the Seva seemed to be the place everyone in Kardamena headed to for a late drink.
Our room was pretty basic but huge, clean and airy. There were some items of crockery provided but the stuff that was there was pretty grubby so we didn't bother using much of it. The bathroom was also large, although there was no plug for the bath and the shower attachment only reached about 15cm from wall which made washing your hair pretty tricky!!
We didn't go on any of the trips as have had some pretty crappy experiences with holiday excursions and we met such a good bunch of people round the pool there really wasn't any need to go looking for other ways to occupy ourselves.
All in all, we had a fabulous holiday. This really is the place to stay in Kos. It's exactly what you would expect from a 2wentys hotel, basic rooms - but hey - how long do you really spend it them, and a brilliant atmosphere.

The rooms in the Seva apartments are...
4 / 10
Feb 2006, Mrs H Williams

The rooms in the Seva apartments are very basic, and small. The shower, well lets just say it wasn't exactly a power one! The cleaners were good, they came every day but they didn't understand the concept of privacy, if you were still in bed when they arrived (as we were almost every day!) they just cleaned around you.
The pool is great, but you aren't allowed to take your own drinks or food down there, that has to be bought from the adjoining bar. The staff were all really friendly and we had no problems with the owner but that said I don't think he is a man to get on the wrong side of!
All in all it was a cheap cheerful 2wenties holiday. Don't book the trips from the reps though, they are a total rip off :(

I had a fantastic holiday here, it was everything a holiday should be.
The staff were really nice and everyone got on with one another, it was great a good laugh. I would tell anyone to go there it was ace.
It is close to everything, the rooms were lovely and the pool was wicked and the BBQ was lovely. There is even a gym locally the indoor pool was cool especially when you come back from a night out.

The Seva is the number 1 party place...

Jan 2006, Mr J Lowson

The Seva is the number 1 party place not for the faint hearted and all you people moaning in these reviews need to give there head a shake.
The rooms are large and kept clean daily. The bar is open 24/7 same as the indoor pool staff are great if you are looking for a holiday in Kos this is the place for you believe me if you are aged between 16 and 30 book for the Seva you wont be disappointed.
All rooms come with air con as standard now that the hotel has been updated and most rooms have pool view to the biggest best and most lively pool in Kardamena.

The owner of the apartments George adopted us, so we had a great stay. Didn’t want to leave, everyone was so friendly. The bar is 24 hour and the staff are great. The pool is great is well it wasn’t is busy at the end of the season but was still great. I recommend you do the rep stuff, you get free bars ect. I would recommend the Seva going back next year in season.

The room was basic but this was to be...
5 / 10
Sep 2005, Miss M Sinclair

The room was basic but this was to be expected. It was the self-catering facilities that really let this place down. There was only a plus in hob to cook on and although there were plates and a couple of pots, there was hardly any cutlery, no cooking utensils or even a kettle or toaster. As a result we had to eat out for every meal. This was an added expense that we had not budgeted for. This was supposed to be three star plus accommodation but was far from it. I had to withdraw extra money from my credit card to eat out and I am very disappointed that I had to do so.
We were on a 2wentys holiday and two out of the three excursions were not the value for money that we had expected. The three trips cost 82 euros per person and I thought that the "chill out cruise" was good value but we could have got a three-island hop for 20 euros in town. The Indian meal (that was supposed to be a Chinese meal at first) was poor quality food. My friend being vegetarian opted for the veggie curry and when it came it was about 85% cauliflower (which she unfortunately hates with a passion).
The pub crawl in Kos town was terrible value for money. We were promised drinks promotions but as we found out this only happened if we were a lively bunch and only after we had bought a couple of drinks. Before I knew it I had already spent about 50 euros and didn’t even feel even slightly tipsy. All the pub-crawls I have been on have consisted of having one drink in each pub and moving on however we were in each pub for about 40 minutes.
We got free entry into "Fashion" nightclub, which was supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in Europe, but we were not told until we were on the bus that due to the time of year, it was only going to be partly open. The part that was open was no bigger than the biggest club in Kardamena. It’s was a big disappointment.
The meal we were given when we first arrived in Kos town was average but the was no choice. The vegetarian option was spaghetti sauce with a tomato sauce and because my friend had just had that for lunch she was offered chips and a salad (shredded cabbage and lettuce which is not very filling when you are about to go on a night of drinking).
We ended up leaving the rest of the party in search of somewhere to eat along with another group of disgruntled people. All in all I believe that I spent a lot more money that I would have liked too and I am very angry about the level of self-catering available.

Jul 2005, Miss E Yates

After going to Kos last year we were really up for it again this year, and decided to stay in Seva as I had been there for late drinks last year....... Well......the room was big enough for 4 of us & was cleaned daily...we were not there to stay/sleep a lot so even though it was basic it did the job! The pool area was filthy, smelt & basically was disgusting! Sunbeds were stained with god knows what?!! After hearing that people had sex etc in then pool there was NO way we were swimming in it!!! We DID NOT spend one day around Seva's pool! We went to the Origin bar/hotel over the road where 2 of our other mates were staying, and were there every day. The origin is usually open until last man standing so you can get late drinks there after Starlight/Status. We did have drinks after clubs in Seva, but after the trouble that usually started from young lads having that one too many we weren’t there very often! Shame coz for a late/early morning drink it’s an ideal place, especially if you’re staying there! Seva is right in the middle of everything so you don’t walk far to anywhere. The staff in Seva were fab, a really good laugh! It was just a shame the hotel didn’t follow suit! Have got to mention go to the Stone Roses bar, you can’t go to Kardamena without having a few listening to some brilliant music!!

Jun 2005, Miss N J Shields

Only go to the Seva if you don’t mind music played extremely loud 24/7. Not for those who like their sleep. But its purpose - 2wentys HQ - it satisfies very well.
the bar crawl is recommended. Wouldn’t bother with the chill out cruise or any BBQ as these are very uneventful. Go for the free bars!!! 2wentys reps are fun but not very helpful as we found out when our friend was injured.
Kardamena is great - don’t go to any bar without haggling some free shots!! Starlight n Status are the best clubs. Amazon is well worth a visit - 15 euros all you can drink and a 3-course meal!!

It’s in a great place and has a great pool. However the rooms were not clean, the bathrooms smelt disgusting and I would strongly disagree with the title "self catering" as the facilities were extremely limited.
I would recommend a day or evening trip to the pool but stay away from the accommodation!

May 2004, Miss L L Upton

The apartment we stayed in was very basic and small for the 5 of us!! 5th bed was a sofa bed. The cleaners were there almost everyday!!
The bar was great, it really was open 24 hours and the staff were really friendly. The pool swim up bar was good too. Plenty of sunbeds for everybody around the pool.

It was only a short walk away from the town’s nightlife.
I would recommended Zos but if you like it lively would say go later on in the season as May was a bit quiet.
The reps David and Lucy the were helpful.
