Hotel Description:

Without question the Seva is the greatest place to stay in Kardamena, if not the world! Nothing else in town comes close and you'll see that this is where it all happens. The pool could well be the centre of the universe and the poolside bar has seats in the water so you can sip on a cool refresher while your toes wrinkle. The atmosphere is fantastic and there's even an indoor pool as well. Come and play.

" The owner of the apartments George... "

The owner of the apartments George adopted us, so we had a great stay. Didn’t want to leave, everyone was so friendly. The bar is 24 hour and the staff are great. The pool is great is well it wasn’t is busy at the end of the season but was still great. I recommend you do the rep stuff, you get free bars ect. I would recommend the Seva going back next year in season.

" The room was basic but this was to be... "

The room was basic but this was to be expected. It was the self-catering facilities that really let this place down. There was only a plus in hob to cook on and although there were plates and a couple of pots, there was hardly any cutlery, no cooking utensils or even a kettle or toaster. As a result we had to eat out for every meal. This was an added expense that we had not budgeted for. This was supposed to be three star plus accommodation but was far from it. I had to withdraw extra money from my credit card to eat out and I am very disappointed that I had to do so.

We were on a 2wentys holiday and two out of the three excursions were not the value for money that we had expected. The three trips cost 82 euros per person and I thought that the "chill out cruise" was good value but we could have got a three-island hop for 20 euros in town. The Indian meal (that was supposed to be a Chinese meal at first) was poor quality food. My friend being vegetarian opted for the veggie curry and when it came it was about 85% cauliflower (which she unfortunately hates with a passion).

The pub crawl in Kos town was terrible value for money. We were promised drinks promotions but as we found out this only happened if we were a lively bunch and only after we had bought a couple of drinks. Before I knew it I had already spent about 50 euros and didn’t even feel even slightly tipsy. All the pub-crawls I have been on have consisted of having one drink in each pub and moving on however we were in each pub for about 40 minutes.

We got free entry into "Fashion" nightclub, which was supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in Europe, but we were not told until we were on the bus that due to the time of year, it was only going to be partly open. The part that was open was no bigger than the biggest club in Kardamena. It’s was a big disappointment.

The meal we were given when we first arrived in Kos town was average but the was no choice. The vegetarian option was spaghetti sauce with a tomato sauce and because my friend had just had that for lunch she was offered chips and a salad (shredded cabbage and lettuce which is not very filling when you are about to go on a night of drinking).

We ended up leaving the rest of the party in search of somewhere to eat along with another group of disgruntled people. All in all I believe that I spent a lot more money that I would have liked too and I am very angry about the level of self-catering available.
" After going to Kos last year we were... "

After going to Kos last year we were really up for it again this year, and decided to stay in Seva as I had been there for late drinks last year.......

Well......the room was big enough for 4 of us & was cleaned daily...we were not there to stay/sleep a lot so even though it was basic it did the job!

The pool area was filthy, smelt & basically was disgusting! Sunbeds were stained with god knows what?!!

After hearing that people had sex etc in then pool there was NO way we were swimming in it!!! We DID NOT spend one day around Seva's pool! We went to the Origin bar/hotel over the road where 2 of our other mates were staying, and were there every day. The origin is usually open until last man standing so you can get late drinks there after Starlight/Status.

We did have drinks after clubs in Seva, but after the trouble that usually started from young lads having that one too many we weren’t there very often! Shame coz for a late/early morning drink it’s an ideal place, especially if you’re staying there! Seva is right in the middle of everything so you don’t walk far to anywhere.

The staff in Seva were fab, a really good laugh! It was just a shame the hotel didn’t follow suit!

Have got to mention go to the Stone Roses bar, you can’t go to Kardamena without having a few listening to some brilliant music!!

" Only go to the Seva if you don’t... "

Only go to the Seva if you don’t mind music played extremely loud 24/7. Not for those who like their sleep. But its purpose - 2wentys HQ - it satisfies very well.
the bar crawl is recommended. Wouldn’t bother with the chill out cruise or any BBQ as these are very uneventful. Go for the free bars!!! 2wentys reps are fun but not very helpful as we found out when our friend was injured.

Kardamena is great - don’t go to any bar without haggling some free shots!! Starlight n Status are the best clubs. Amazon is well worth a visit - 15 euros all you can drink and a 3-course meal!!

It’s in a great place and has a great pool. However the rooms were not clean, the bathrooms smelt disgusting and I would strongly disagree with the title "self catering" as the facilities were extremely limited.

I would recommend a day or evening trip to the pool but stay away from the accommodation!

" The apartment we stayed in was very... "

The apartment we stayed in was very basic and small for the 5 of us!! 5th bed was a sofa bed. The cleaners were there almost everyday!!

The bar was great, it really was open 24 hours and the staff were really friendly. The pool swim up bar was good too. Plenty of sunbeds for everybody around the pool.

It was only a short walk away from the town’s nightlife.
I would recommended Zos but if you like it lively would say go later on in the season as May was a bit quiet.

The reps David and Lucy the were helpful.
