Nissia & Kamares Studios & Apartments
This attractive apartment complex located close to the centre of this popular resort.
With a refreshingly different style to other apartments in Kardamena, Nissia and Kamares is attractively designed and built in traditional Dodecanese Island style with white-washed accommodation surrounds stone-paved courtyards. The spacious, modern apartments and studios are well maintained and provide an excellent choice for families. The resort centre and a sandy beach are both a short walk away.

We stayed at the studios for one week, the accommodation, and staff where the best we have ever had! Friendly on call 24/7.
Bar man Ross was very welcoming and made you feel like you didn't want to go home!
Tour operator Argo were poor but the staff at the accommodation made up for Argo’s down falls!
The staff, in particular Ross and Costa, gave us tips on where to go, what to see, and how we could maximise our stay!
It was all very clean and bedrooms where cleaned and a high standard maintained daily!
We would recommend this holiday to anyone, in particular families and couples!

Just got back from Nissia and Kamares, very lovely apartments basic but nice.
The whole place was clean and tidy with everything on your doorstep, everyone including the locals were friendly.
Cleaners always saying hi and Ross the barman (you need a holiday you work to hard) very nice bloke.
The beach was less than 5mins away shops around the corner.
Will definitely be going back next year.

This is a great hotel to stay in but I wouldn’t recommend it to people who get loud when they are drunk, as we nearly got kicked out on our second night for noise!
But it’s lovely and very clean. One of the best hotels on the island, but sadly won't be going back to this hotel this year, as we are a very loud group!
But I am a travel agent and I would say this is more for families, not someone who wants a party holiday!!

What a fantastic place! I've been coming to Kos for 11 years now and have stayed at the Nissia 8 times. I work on Kos in the summer months and can say that all the guests I have spoken to have really enjoyed there stay!
Helen and Vasillis the joint owners are great, the take turns to run the hotel whilst one of them is in Athens. Dimitris is the manager and is superb! The maids speak little English but are very helpful and always smiling.
Top rate hotel.

Stayed in early July for a week at the Nissia with 2 other mates for a week. We all really enjoyed our stay and had a great laugh. The apartments are clean and the courtyard style that they were arranged in made it easy to meet and talk to people. The pool is of a suitable size and the bar is open really late making it very convenient for a quick drink. The staff at the Nissia are great. Dimitri is a legend who will always go out of his way to help you and Ross (or "Rozz") and Stefan are good lads - always up for a laugh and a night of ouzo! The resort is within easy access, the bars and restaurants are great and the beach is very nice. Watch out for PR people in the street who will attempt to get you into every bar - good but costly - and the locals who will attempt to flog you everything from hats to bracelets and balloons in Bar Street. The clubs were not always that great (Starlight and Status) but are worth a visit. Best bar in the resort has to be Crossroads for its atmosphere and Pro Evo. Would stay at the Nissia again definitely after this summer's experiences!

Hi, well arrived back home a week ago and really gutted to be home. Stayed in the Nissia and Kamares apartments and had a fantastic time. Dimitri was very helpful, and funny in the way you would see him running around all day doing 10 jobs at once. And Ross behind the hotel bar in the evenings very nice!
The hotel was very clean and the pool was great with plenty of available sun beds. This hotel is very close to the main square but far enough away from all of the noise. We would definitely go back there.
Two recommended restaurants in Kardamena is the Avli (It was lovely real traditional) and also Camelot, again neither are far from Nissia and Kamares apartments. If you go to Kardamena and stay here you will have a great time!

Nissia Kamares apartments is a great complex. The rooms are pretty basic but has everything you need.
It is the staff that make your stay very enjoyable. Dimitris is very helpful and friendly and by the end of the holiday we had became friends with him and he ended dancing to the Benny Hill theme with us by the pool side "witch he plays all the time". Also Ross behind the bar is a legend. He loves ouzo and looks constantly drunk but again is very friendly and funny.
The apartments are great for young holiday makers like me and my friends or for families also as there is a night watchman (Stephan) who makes sure there is not much noise at night and no intruders. Would definitely go again.

The Nissia Kamares apartment is fantastic. It is set out really nice, like a courtyard. The manager, Dimitris was really nice always on hand if there was any problems, which I didn't have. All staff were so friendly.
The pool was good and very refreshing. The cook in the pool side cafe is excellent (I love the pizzas!). Some nice restaurants I’d recommend are, Yannis - very posh but at a decent price, excellent quality food. Avli - courtyard setting, nice and peaceful. Camelot - this restaurant offers Greek, English, Mexican and Indian dishes.
Had a day out at the water park, which was good fun. The 1960s bar in the main square is mental and all the staff are the best!
Overall me and 3 other people I went with we had an excellent time and shall definitely be going back.

Just returned from a week at the Nissia apartments in Kardamena, Apartments much better than first impressions when getting off the coach. We had probably one of the best rooms in the complex, lovely balcony overlooking court yard. Apartment good standard for Greece, very clean and also cleaned every day.
Even had a shower curtain! Luxury in many Greek Islands, Demitras looked after us and was always on hand if any one had any problems and all the staff were great. Good pool and plenty of sun beds. One word of caution keep the mozzy repellant at hand.
Kardamena is great! Good variety of bars and restaurants. Must try Loustros, Great food and an extremely "fit" PR girl called Lex working outside.
A great holiday and as Arnie says "I’ll be back".

Just come back from the best holiday i have ever had. stayed at the Nissia and Kamares apartments, they were very clean and the manager Dimitris was lovely, always there to help him even though we made loads of noise on the first night.
We spent the first night at a 24hr bar which was just round the corner called the origin. The bar staff Gavin and Ruth were really friendly and we became really good friends, although girls watch out for Gavin.
If you are into Indie music you have got to go to the stone roses bar, the bar staff are crazy especially the DJ.
overall the apartments were a lovely place to stay and in a perfect location if you want to be close to the bars and beach. I’d give them 10 out of 10.

We stayed at Nissia & Kamares Studios & Apartments and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The apartments were very clean and looked after well. The staff were friendly and helpful.
It is a nice size and the pool didn't get overcrowded. Everything you need is within walking distance and there is plenty to do here. Overall, we had a great time here and would certainly go back.

I would definitely recommend this small and well run apartment complex. The rooms, which were all en suite, were spotless. Members of the cleaning staff were always around and nothing was too much trouble.
The room had a full sized fridge and small double electric hotplate. There was a big supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the apartments. There were also plenty of inexpensive restaurants within walking distance. I wish I’d remembered the names so I could recommend them. I stayed for two weeks and never had a bad meal.
The apartments had its own pool with a bar where you could also buy hot or cold food and drinks. You also had a lovely clean cafe here were you could sit inside. There was also a big screen TV in there were the kids could watch cartoons.
Even though you were two minutes from the shops and bars the complex was always peaceful at night.
Many bars were showing films and there was a lovely place just round the corner from the apartments, where you could take the kids as well. You didn’t have to pay to get in, it was like a free night out at the cinema!!!
There was also a travel agents at the shops were you could book day trips. We went to Turkey for the day.
You don’t need your car here as everything is literally on your doorstep.
I would definitely go again.
