Reviews of Athanasia Apartments, Kardamena

I came here with my girlfriend for a week away and i thought that the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to and have a laugh with. I would recommend this holiday to anyone who doesn't mind having a laugh and is up for a bit of fun!

We are going back again this year and are staying in the same hotel again. CANT WAIT!!!

I had a mental time here. Everybody was friendly. I met loads of cool people too. Origin is the place to be I will be back in July, guys so see you then! The Reps need a pat on the back for coping with June 22nd 2005 lot!



They always keep the drink flowing too, which is a big bonus!



The accommodation is alright not the Ritz but what more can you ask for the rooms are basic, but it was always clean and the cleaners did a good job coping with 9 Girls! The best holiday I have had with the lasses and would recommend anyone to stay at Athanasia!

Great holiday, rooms was nice and basic, just somewhere to crash . The staff where great and very friendly even though we caused 1,400e damage to our apartment. There were some wicked clubs just minutes away and could see the beach from the apartment balcony. It was fantastic to have a 24hr bar below us, if you visit the bar below the apartment (origin bar) you must try cookies cocktails they will get you out of your nut.


This is a great cheap clubbing holiday, ad a fantastic time, was only out there for a week but wished I was out there for the entire summer.


Can't wait for the 2wentys reunion at Skegness in November, just look for the Lary and loud Dagenham lads (us).

We arrived at our hotel in the middle of the night to find that none of our bed sheets had been changed and that there were stains all over them!! When we complained to the Manager he said he couldn’t wake the cleaner up to get us clean sheets and that he would deliver us some the next day (which he did not). The apartment was above a twenty-four hour bar it was so noisy that we could never sleep and were tired for the whole holiday.



When we needed our E111 and passports in a medical emergency the manager could not even be bothered to get out of bed to allow us access to the safety deposit boxes they were stored in and staff told us to come back in the morning!



The shower in the bathroom was broken as was the toilet seat. I would not recommend that you go to this hotel even if you want a cheap clubby holiday, it was dirty and the staff were not at all helpful, or interested in the needs of their guests.

Well what can I say? this holiday was officially the best holiday I’ve ever had. The staff were excellent. We arrived in the afternoon and our rooms were not ready so we made use of the bar on location. Mark and Jamie the Bar Man were brilliant. Made us feel at home. Miss you guys.!!!!


We found out that the pool had been built throughout the winter so that was a pleasant surprise as we thought we had to share with Seva next door.


We were walking distance from everything, beach, bars, clubs and restaurants. Origin bar which was our bar on site was 24 hour, so when the clubs finished you didn’t have to stop drinking u could carry on then crawl up a few steps 2 your room. IT was mainly workers at origin when the clubs had finished which was excellent. A lot of eye candy much to my delight. Athanasia aka Origin Bar was the best place and I love and miss everyone who was there. x x x x

Two girls wanting a holiday in May, somewhere with nightlife and things to do in the day if we got bored of lying in the sun. Where else but Kardamena.



We went for one week and we wished we were there for the whole summer. Every one was great and so, so friendly. Going away in May there really isn’t that much going on but it suited us just fine. The room was very basic but also very clean, which to us was more important.



We had a fantastic pool, which we discovered on arrival, what a fab surprise that was! Every one in the apartments were so friendly, that’s workers and owners, all the reps were great too, the people made our holiday. We were 2seconds away from main Bar St, and the workers there this year are excellent and very entertaining, great places to eat, best place we found was JAKES, which was confidently on the way to the bars. Totally recommend any one to go eat here.



We are currently planning on going back in September to say hello to all the great people we met. And have also booked to go on the 2wenty Skegness reunion in November. We can’t wait to go back. A couple of things we went aware of though before we went out there and that is the bar at the apartments we stayed at is 24hr all season..WOW! And you only get one roll of toilet paper for your entire stay, you have to buy your own!



The only frustrating thing was that no matter what time your flight home is you still have to vacate your room at mid-day, you can pay 30euros if you wish to keep it on till 8pm, but our flight wasn’t until 5.30am the next morning! So be warned and don’t spend all your money thinking your going home in the morning!!!
