Hi, First time in Bulgaria so was excited and choose the Iberostar sunny beach, so glad we did from the first moment we arrived we were looked after, our arrival was at 3:20am we got a warm welcome and a little food was laid on aswell, The place is spotless at all times, cleaners are everywhere, food is ok but im a fussy eater the rest of my party was happy with it, now we travelled with my son who is nearly 2 and was worried about the change but the animation team made him feel special the whole time he was there, he learnt all the kids disco songs and went to all the friendly team with open arms, there are activities during the day to keep you from getting too bored i cant say enough about this hotel i will defo think about going back!

The staff was verry friendly..
The food was also great..
you had a lot of choices...
The animation => 10/10!!
The rooms are verry clean every day !
But when i have to say one thing negative.. the water in the pool,was verry verry cold brr!!!
We had a great holiday in this hotel!!!

me my family have just arrived back at newcastle from the iberostar hotel **** sunny beach. for the surrounding places closing down we would have had no entainment if it was not for the annimation team that keeps this hotel going all year round and the very helpfull staff this hotel was amazing food was good and all thanks goes to dessi , cvetty , teddy ,mitko , michau , pavol , niki and a brief spell with vladi (the annination team)

I read alot of reviews on this hotel before booking, alot of positives but a few negitives. All the small doubts where washed away as we arrived, friendly welcome by the reception staff (complementry drink on arrival), checked in quickly and shown to our room.
ROOM:Well decorated, clean, spacious, good size balconey over looking the 4 pools, small fridge (enough room for half a dozen beers and a bottle of wine!)
cable tv (all german channels though) and great bathroom, shower & bath. Cleaned daily to high standard 10/10.
FOOD: We stayed A/I and the food was fantastic, great selection, fresh fruit and salad every meal. local beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks inc.10/10.
ENTERTAINMENT: My 3 year old son loved the kids club which ran 10-1 and 3-5 everyday loads of activies to keep them entertained, the kids club staff where great! Adult entertainment included shooting (not the Germans,paper targets!!) water polo, bouls, darts & football + more thoughout the day.
Kids Mini disco was everynight at 8-9 then adult show ran by the entertainment staff 9-10ish, which was always a laugh! 10/10
POOLS: Always clean, plenty of sun beds (if your not to late going to the pool) around the pool was always being cleaned. Towel service was great, just exchange your dirty wet towel at the end of the day.
STAFF: What can I say, all excellent, friendly, polite, helpful and well presented from the cleaners right to the entertainment staff! 10/10.
Age groups ranged from young same sex groups, couples, families with young children, families with teenage children and older couples.
All different nationalities, we were there during the World Cup so it was very colourful with the different shirts! English,German, Dutch, American, Russian, Scandinavian, Spanish and Romanian.
I would highly recommend this hotel, we have been to Bulgaria 3 times now and overall this is the best hotel we have stayed in, we will be returning next year!

This was my first holiday abroad with my children (3 & 4) and I would happily recommend this hotel with utmost confidence. My kids arrived feeling nervous and within a few hours, the 'Animation Team' had won them over. The amount of time/effort the guys spent with my kids was unreal and both of them developed a bond very quickly. Both kids are very difficult to feed, the restaurant staff and Animation Team helped out almost every day with encouragement, it made our stay a far more relaxed experience. The shows for the kids and adults were a lot of fun and different every day. We have come away from Iberostar Sunny Beach with a really relaxed mind and we are seriously thinking of returning again this year - I know the kids will love it!, Personal Thanks to Bogdan, Silva, Nelli, Eli, Dessi, Teddi and the entire Animation Team. Totally amazing time guys, loved Lazur too!

i would reccomend this hotel to anyone.the hotel is very clean and rooms are lovely.the restaurant and food was nice,these people who say they had sprouts on at breakfast,yes they did but you dont have to eat them.there was food for all different nationalities and tastes.and as for no cutlery,thats rubbish,more than plenty.people who give negative reviews they want their head testing or they are just snobs.resort is nice with plenty to do.the staff were lovely especially one in the dining room called darnia.thanks for a lovely holiday iberostar.o neill family,sheffield.

Very clean hotel with good amenieties, very friendly staff. brilliant room and conveniently situated .
The food was atrocious not very appetising to look at or taste and to be given the option of sprouts or green beans with your breakfast says it all ( I am not joking ).
The Helios hotel opposite the Iberostar is a much better option.

having stayed @ the iberostar sunny beach for i week we couldn't fault it, very very polite @ efficient staff in all areas no pushing or shoving fantastic food, and so much choice, my husband is a vegetarian @ the choice of food was the best he had encountered in a long time. having been to bulgaria 5 times now the only difference is the prices have gone up dramatically, but have'nt they everywhere. spotless hotel deserves the 4*grade i in fact would give it a 5*. will certainly go back again.

The Iberostar Sunny Beach Resort is a nice hotel situated just away from the main area of Sunny Beach.Our room was a Junior Suite and was very spacious and clean.There was a good variety of food at the hotel,unfortunatly the quality left something to be desired.The staff were all very polite and friendly,along with the variety team who were all very enthusiastic.The resort itself is very very tacky.The shops are very basic with every other one selling the same tacky products.The resort seems to be catering for an age group between 18 and 24.On the whole the weather was very hot and made for an enjoyable week holiday.I would think that next year the prices will rise quite significantly with the introduction of the euro.At the moment it represents good value for the British traveller.

couldn't agree more with the previous review - what a tacky place! sex shops, tattoo parlours and 'hoodie' shops run by the most miserable people imaginable!! they just don't seem pleased to see you there and make you feel like an inconvenience. would advise people to stick to well populated streets because we did feel threatened, especially walking round after dark. the hotel was very clean, the room very spacious and well looked after by the maids. but the staff on reception and the waiters, well, what can i say? rude and miserable are the only words that come to mind. the food was plentyful, but tepid and frankly not very nice. we had to wait for a seat every morning and evening in the dining room as it was way too full, and we had to clear the tables of dirty dishes before eating. they actually shut one of the dining rooms for a 'gala night' for special guests on our last night there, so we were all expected to cram into one room!! thank god for morris's bar just across the bridge!! bar prices were ridiculous, considering you can get a beer for 1 lev just outside. we will not be going back to bulgaria after this trip, for cert.
