Fiesta Beach Hotel

We liked the hotel very much. It’s one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. As per the Bulgarian standards, it is a four-star quality hotel.

It’s situated at the north end of Sunny Beach, just next to Helena Sands. It’s only a wide walking alley that stands between it and the thin-sand beach. There are various opinions regarding the hotel location. On the one hand, it takes some 30 minutes to walk from the noisy centre; on the other hand, it’s very quiet in the evening and the noise from the discos and bars doesn’t bother one’s sleep. It’s the ideal place for someone who seeks calmness. Getting to the stop of the mini train and the buses takes some ten minutes. It takes a bit less to get to the first kiosks and Crown change bureaux.

Altogether, the hotel disposes of 277 rooms dispersed on 10 floors. The reception desk is in the lobby, there are upholstered booths, a lobby bar, two lifts and a restaurant. There is a consulting room, a hairdresser’s, a souvenir shop, a mini shop and a few PCs for internet usage. Outside the hotel, there is a swimming pool with a terrace and a bar. The sunbeds and the parasols at the swimming pool are for free.

Almost everybody at the reception desk speaks both English and German very well. Checks-in and out were easy to make.

Some comfortable booths with padded seats are located in the ample lobby. There are three TV sets so everyone could watch the games from the European football championship. Cleanliness there was spotless. The staff were dusting and polishing all the time.

The comfy lobby bar is in the foyer, too. The small footstools were also spectacular. They are very uncommon in Sunny Beach; however, they make sitting very relaxing. The bar was open non stop, its staff working in three shifts. We arrived at 3:30 in the morning and by 6:00 a.m. we had several Bulgarian pints. The shifts were as follows: 8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m, 4.00 - 12.00 p.m. and from 12.00 pm. to 8.00 am.

The three teams took perfect care of us. We even had a table that was booked only for us. Well, we downed a lot of bottles of wine there.

The food at the hotel was extremely delicious, including breakfast - this is exceptional in Sunny Beach. Breakfast and dinner were served as a buffet. The choice was wide and there was enough from everything. They were constantly stocking the table up.

The customer service at the restaurant was of high level. Dirty cutlery was quickly taken away and ordered drinks were served with no delay.

On Sundays, a Bulgarian thematic evening would take place. Colourful table cloths that are typical for Bulgaria were put on the white ones. After the toast with a sip of Rakiya and a hand-made piece of bread, we were served typical Bulgarian dishes. After that guests could enjoy Bulgarian folklore. An orchestra played in the rest of the evenings; everyone willing to dance could do it.

Our rooms were spacious. They were furnished with the typical stuff. There was an air-conditioner, phone, TV set, mini bar and a balcony. I liked the shower. It was so made that one had to be very awkward or malicious to flood the bathroom.

The rooms were cleaned every day, towels being changed constantly. During my three-week stay we had our sheets changed several times.

if you are taking children avoid sunny beach like the plague! prostitutes, sex shops, strip joints, beggars, muggars and theft is what we experienced here. Hotel food was bad, stale bread, no cups or plates, if you were lucky to get some they were usually dirty. All staff were ignorant and unfriendly, the only staff that had a smile were the cleaners and then we found out they pinched my mums mobile phone from her room!! BIG problem with ants in most rooms ( there were 15 of us, all with the problem), My sister went last year and said how great it was and cheap, DEFINATELY gone downhill, the prices have more than doubled, a good holiday if not fussy about standards and are happy to eat pizza and drink local beer, we would never return again. A horrible country.

After such a late night flight we arrived at hotel at 07:00 local time, We found reseption staff very friendly & efficient. Both the room & hotel very clean and all the staff very helpful & friendly, the pool & poolside areas clean. The resort is massive so we didn't see everything but what we saw was great. The beach & sea were excellent & the Fiesta Beach bar was a welcome rest from the sun during the day & at night great for the kids to play on the nearby swing & build sand castles just a few feet away while we enjoyed a few drinks, the table service by all the girls was excellent & friendly. It was nice to go on holiday surrounded by people from so many different countries. The bulgarian poeple were very friendly with some good Crack!! We only went for a week but next year we will go for 2 weeks. No more Spanish holidays for us!!!

Pleasant hotel. Great Beach front location. At the quieter end of Sunny beach, but within easy reach of the lively night life.

Went on holiday with husband and 3 - 16 year old boys, who all thought the resort was great fun. Very good value for money. Slightly disappointed that did not have a sea view room.

Rooms were simple, but very clean and comfortable. The food that we had at the hotel been really good, a large selection of choices for breakfast. Highly recommended.

I booked a holiday with First Choice with accommodation on arrival. When I arrived at Fiesta Beach my first impressions were very good and they continued that way for the week.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and had a fair level of English.

The rooms were clean and bright, cleaned daily by friendly cleaning staff and towels changed daily if you required them to be.

The breakfast was buffet style and there was a very good choice off hot and cold food, something to please everyone.

Only fault was that it was hard enough to get sunbeds in the morning but we survived that! The hotel is situated at the end of the resort and it is nice and quiet. It is right on the beach front and you have lovely walks on the promenade or on the beach.

Food and drink is very cheap. I found the selection of food in the restaurants very good. I have to at this stage recommend a Restaurants called De Jannys (think that is the spelling), it is in the centre of sunny beach and it very reasonable and off very good quality and good service also Flagipol! (opposite the Palace hotel on the promenade) the same as De Jannys.

Hired bikes at only 12 lev for two for two hours and cycled to Nessebar and all around it, it was like been in a different world.

Highly recommend it. Has a very enjoyable holiday and will return again.

This was my first holiday away with my friends. It was excellent. The hotel was very clean as it was cleaned daily. The pool was great, but the only problem was that there were not enough sun beds. The air conditioning in the rooms was good, it worked perfectly. The staff in the hotel were very friendly. The hotel is full of people of all ages, mainly the 18-40 age group, so there is always someone to talk to.

The nightlife in Sunny Beach is brilliant. The night clubs are good and there were many bars that were also good. I was expecting lots of beggars and prostitutes roaming the streets in the night but there were not any.

Just arrived back from a week’s holiday, staying in the Fiesta Beach Hotel. I have to give the hotel a 10 out of 10.

Very clean, nice room with a great view. The staff were very helpful and always made time for their guests.

We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was out of this world, as was the bar.

The hotel was in a nice area of Sunny Beach with only a short walk to all the restaurants and bars.

I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be back again!

This was our first visit to Bulgaria. Given the recent reports in the press about Sunny Beach I was pleasantly surprised. We were in the centre of the resort at midnight but didn't see any drunkenness, prostitutes or pickpockets.

Be prepared to wait at the Airport. We waited, and waited (outside) - 2 hours to check in going home. Good job it didn't have one of its torrential downpours.

We had a lovely room in the Hotel Fiesta Beach overlooking the promenade and pool next door. Not enough wardrobe space or drawer space but that is the norm. The staff were friendly. The breakfast did not have a great deal of choice but sufficient. The food and plates were hot and you could have an omelette made to order.

The only downside to the hotel was the sun beds. There were just not enough for the size of the hotel. There was wasted space where sun beds could have been put.

Have a baked potatoes (massive) from one of the stalls on the Promenade. Much nicer than any you will get in England. 5 levs for as many fillings as you want.

Go round the side of the Victoria Palace Hotel to get on the land train into the centre (2 levs each) or taxi 15 levs. Walking down the promenade takes about 30 minutes.

The Rep told us to change money at the Crown kiosks. Change it in the hotel, the rate is much better.

All in all, a very good holiday. The people are so friendly and everyone speaks excellent English.

The Fiesta Beach was a really nice hotel, located right by the beach and close to the main promenade and bars and restaurants.

Positives:

The food in the hotel was really nice, they had a buffet breakfast and did well to cater for everyone having a range of foods including English fry, pancakes, cereal, fruit, and toasts and had English tea/coffee and fruit juices. The lunch menu in the hotel was also very nice.

Whilst we were there we did not eat an evening meal in the hotel as it is so cheap to eat out and sample different types of food, other people who were also staying here had told us that they had tried the evening meals and they were also really nice.

The staff in the hotel were very nice and friendly, the rooms were cleaned daily. The rooms were clean and well kept with lovely views from the balconies of the beach and pool. The fiesta had a lovely swimming pool and kiddie’s pool and there are sun loungers by the pool.

The first choice rep was very friendly and helpful and gave allot of good tips and advice.

Negatives:

There are not many negatives about the fiesta beach, the only thing that was annoying was that there were not enough seats by the pool and many people would cover the seats with their towels then leave and not come back for a few hours despite there being numerous signs around the hotel and pool advising not to do this and that staff would lift the towels after half an hour unattended but there did not appear to be any staff that did this.

The fiesta could do with putting a few more seats by the pool as they have enough room to do so.

The air conditioning in the room was not very powerful and did not have much effect.

Overall Fiesta Beach Hotel:

The fiesta Beach is a lovely hotel and the food was great. They clearly had done their homework on trying to cater for food for tourists as they had allot of English foods.

Overall Sunny Beach:

Lovely area with lots of sun, sea and sand. Most of the people are very friendly. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, everything is very cheap. There is an Aqua Park nearby which is great fun for all ages and buses to the nearby towns are very cheap.

The only negatives are that as you are walking along the promenade you are tortured by numerous people trying to get you to eat and drink in their place and continuously bombarding you with leaflets. Also Taxi drivers will continuously try and get you to get in but I would advise against this as the bus is so cheap and the taxi drivers are well known to charge more than they should.

Also there are lots of people trying to get you to change currency with them but I would again advise not to do this as most of them have fake money and try to imitate the real bureaus, only go the crown bureaus. Although everything is very cheap in sunny beach you have to pay for almost everything you do, you have to pay to sit on the beach, go to the toilet and if you take photos of any of the animals you see even if it is your own camera, so be aware don’t take pictures of the animals they will chase you for money.

Overall it is a nice place and was a very enjoyable holiday.

We were moved to this hotel as the hotel we booked in Ibeostar had building work goin on.

But i am so gald we did - the hotel is just outside the main/busy area right on the front but within a 5 minute walk to get to the main area.

We had a suite which had a pool/sea view. The room was a great size - 2 adults 1 child and a baby. the room had a massive glass wall which looked out over the beach along with a balcony.

We only ate out at night twice as the food in the hotel is good.

We did see a bear but no one takes any notice and they soon move on.

The locals are very friendly and love children.

Overall a great hotel/location and holdiay and VERY CHEAP!!!!
