what can i say except from what a fantastic holiday at the beltsios yet again. we have stayed at the beltsios hotel on several occasions and had a wonderful time. tony ,yiota and the rest of the family make us feel very welcome infact they treat us like family.... yes tony has got a very dry sence of humour but he does not mean to offend anyone. if he did offend you then all you would have to do is tell him and he would apologise he is not an unreasonable person..... troulos is a lovely place to stay and skiathos is a great place to holiday although a little bit bussier than in preivous year but this might be due to the fact that mamma mia was filmed there......
the only down side to our whole holiday was the flights and the delays which we incurred with air malta ( would not travel with them again)
we look forward to our next holiday in skiathos and will definatly be stopping at the beltsios appartment.....

We holidayed at the Beltsios Apartments last July and had a wonderful time. The accommadation was excellent. It was extremely clean and well maintained and the rooms were cleaned daily with clean bedding if required.
We took our 5 year old daughter with us and she had a fabulous time. We met some lovely people and the atmosphere around the pool bar was always very friendly.
There was definately a holiday atmosphere, the bar was lively and the staff couldn't do enough for us; but we were never kept awake by noise even though our apartment was very close to the pool area.
The family were superb with our little girl, in fact, with all the guests. There were a number of teenagers staying with their families at the same time and they all had a great time.
I would definately recommend The Beltsios and would love to holiday there again.
You are a short walk to the beach ( gorgeous beaches in Skiathos ), 2 mins from a bus stop & a short ride into town. Some nice bars etc a walk away. What more could you want?

Great place - don’t believe everything you hear. Tony just has a subtle sense of humour that’s all!
The whole family was great - the place was great - the weather was great. Lovely area, only a short bus trip to town, taxi's available too. The Sunrise taverna, two minutes away, offered as good as any food you will get on the island and Stavros was a wonderful host.
Go and try the place for yourself.

Just returned from a two week holiday in Skiathos with my husband and fifteen year old daughter and we stayed at the Beltsios Studios.
What we expected from Troulous was a fairly quiet but charming resort. But what we encountered in our opinion was not a resort but merely a road that runs through the island with a handful of tavernas and supermarkets scattered along the way, all extremely low key and some distance away from each other.
The Beltsios was situated off this main road along an unlit dirt track along with a couple of other apartments. We lasted two nights at these apartments before we made a formal complaint to the rep and requested to be moved. We were promptly moved along with the other party the following day. With regards to the accommodation at the Beltsios it was clean and basic, the pool area was small but plenty of beds, and the bar area was ok but there was a distinct lack of holiday atmosphere.
In our opinion this is not suitable accommodation for families with teenagers/children owing to the lack of entertainment/facilities or even other guests in our case as we hardly saw anybody there. We did speak to one guest that went there year after year and we have still not worked out why! We love Greece and have travelled to many of the Islands and always had a fab time with warm hospitality, good food, drinks, cocktails, beaches etc and also holidayed in many parts of the world such as Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Gambia, Spain etc and have never ever encountered such unwelcoming behaviour from a host.
I have also never written on one of these sites before, although I do always check them out when travelling and find them very helpful and I did read a mixed bag of comments regarding this accommodation but I am always open minded about them but now I 100% agree with the negative reviews and will never ever return. Take our advice don’t stay!

Having read the reviews of this complex on this website I should like to say that myself and my husband (both in our fifties!) have been going to Beltsios for the past eight years sometimes twice a year!
We have taken all our family - including young grandchildren - and friends and they all love it there! The accommodation is first class - clean, well furnished and the gardens and pool area are well tended.
The family and staff are very welcoming and treat us like their family - Yannis and Dimitri (the owners) are lovely people and Tony and Yota (behind the bar) work very hard to keep the complex a happy place.
Most people that go there are returners going year after year and meeting up with friends made there. We certainly would recommend this place - Skiathos is a wonderful island and this family are great people.

I have recently returned from by holiday to the Beltsios apartments in Troulos, on the beautiful island of Skiathos. On first impressions it appeared perfectly situated clean and well run, but by the second day we were continuously subjected to rude, sarcastic and aggressive behaviour by the owners.
We were made to feel so uncomfortable that we spent the last two days at the pool of the neighbouring apartments. This totally spoilt our holiday.
Despite our treatment I can highly recommend Skiathos if it’s a quiet holiday you’re after and a beach lover. Troulos is a very quiet resort with a handful of restaurants.
