The hotel was quite basic, but OK. The main problem was its location - it was close enough to drive to St Petersburg, Clearwater beach, etc but it wasn't actually located at a beach.
Restaurants were also a (short) drive away, but there weren't really any that you could walk to. The pool was quite pleasant. Breakfast was very basic, just juices, cereal and sometimes doughnuts. The staff were friendly.
We chose this hotel because it was cheap and we had a car so could drive to the beaches - I wouldn't recommend this hotel though because the location wasn't very convenient.
