We booked these budget apartments as accommodation for a hen night. There are 6 apartments in all, located on the roof of the building with a walkway, covered in beautiful floral displays leading to them. We were impressed with the accommodation. We were not expecting much as the apartments worked about at about £30 pppn, but we were very pleasantly surprised!
The location was excellent - right in the heart of Temple Bar, very lively and in the middle of all the action. The apartments are located on the 5th floor (there is a lift) and have great views over the Dublin skyline and also have a small decked balcony. There is some noise at night, but not enough to disturb sleep and its a small price to pay for being in the heart of Dublin.
The apartment was very clean, tidy and well maintained. Our apartment was a 3 x twin room apartment with 2 bathrooms (clean, plenty of hot water and good showers). There was a little sitting room, a dining table and chairs and a TV (we didn't use it as you have to leave a deposit with reception for the remote). The kitchen is perfectly stocked, it has every piece of kitchenware you would need - and tea towels, cloths etc. The bed linen is all clean white linen and duvets.
The apartment furniture, although clean and serviceable, was slightly shabby but this was only me being a nit-picker! What can you expect for budget accommodation? The check in desk is slightly small and there was some crowding when we checked out (a party of 12!) I will definitely be booking to come back here! Maybe not suitable for someone who likes 4/5* comforts or wants a quiet retreat, but I was impressed!
