This was our first time to Egypt and we can honestly say it was the best holiday we've ever had. Everything about the hotel was perfect, the staff, food, cleanliness etc was excellent. We felt like royalty because wherever we went, there was always somebody about to make... more

For 3 days we were the only English couple and treated very well by hotel staff - 90% of guests were Russian - plates piled high with food and sunbeds reserved for most of the day even if they did not make an appearance !! A couple of shops on site selling perfumes and... more

Fabulous - all the staff was friendly and the rooms was good value. The maids always make pretty things out of towel. Only the food was poor but in Naama Bay you have a large quantity of restaurants including McDonalds.

Just got back from a week at the Coral Beach Tiran and thoroughly enjoyed it. Went with my best mate on the 14/01/07 and have no regrets, everyone at the hotel is lovely and are very friendly. Food choice is great and weather was fantastic. The pools were chilly but still... more

This hotels greatest asset is their staff, genuinely helpful and friendly. The food choice is very limited and overall, I would rate it as poor. If you are there in the winter months, December or January the pools are unheated and therefore basically unusable. In the two... more

Best holiday ever in my life
This holiday at Coral Tiran is something I'll never forget... The food, the rooms the service were all just great. I truely loved the staff and the environment.... I can recomend it to anyone wnat's to relax and dive or snorkeling..
Red Sea Review
Returned from the Coral Beach Tiran mid August, What a time we had.The rooms were first class with food that you could always find something that you liked. We booked the P.A.D.i open water dive course on site with MrDiver, they were brilliant and better value than booking with the tour operator. The weather was intense but what you would expect in August. Only downside was you felt a little isolated and had to rely on the shuttle or taxi to visit anywhere else rather than under your own steam. We would definately recommend this Hotel to anyone.
Great Hotel
Just got back, wish we could go again immediately. Food superb, staff cannot do enough for you. Ignore the reps and book your diving direct with Mr Diver outlet on site you will not be disappointed. all in all first class
What a fantastic hotel!!
Just came back from The Coral Beach Tiran about a month or so ago with my boyfriend, and what an amazing time we had. As soon as you step off the plane the intense heat hits you, however you soon get used to it, although this may seem hard to believe in 47 degrees heat! The coach was there waiting for us to take us on the short 15 minute journey to our hotel, it was great not having to be on the coach for too long, especially after the plane journey. Also, it was lovely and air-conditioned! As soon as the coach stops outside the hotel, you see how fab it is, there's a grand archway and marble floors, i think everything in the reception is made of marble!! This is a good idea, as it keeps it very cool and airy when it's very, very hot. Every single member of staff was so helpful when we arrived, helping us check in etc. Our room was cleaned so wonderfully, we gave our cleaner a hefty tip at the end of the week!! He did a brilliant job. There are such a selection of pools here, you're spoilt for choice. My boyfriend and I chose to stick to the one just outside our room, which was lovely as it was the quiet one, and there was probably only a maximum of 5 people there at a time. The highlight of our holiday would definetely be the snorkelling off the private beach at the hotel, it was AMAZING!! The jetty takes you out into the clear water of the Red Sea, where you are literally swimming with hundreds of amazingly coloured fish and coral. If you are lucky enough to go to egypt, then this is not to be missed! The restaurants at the hotel are fantastic, whoever had the cheek to complain about the food must be mad! There was such a variety in 'The Mermaids Cafe', meats, salads, pasta, fruit, deserts and so on, and its so well done, its very hard to complain. And the sandwiches in The Moka Cafe are delicious! This holiday was amazing, theres so much more to say, but i wont fit it all in! Obviously, we missed all the trouble that's happened over there, however i would not let this get in your way if you want to go here. You would be missing out, it is FANTASTIC! 10/10!! p.s You must do a camel ride!! Great fun!
Fabulous
We've just had the best holiday at the Coral Beach!!! We were slightly worried about going after the recent troubles - however, I'm so glad we did!!! The hotel is clean, our room was fantastic (although the first one we were given wasn't great in terms of view - however, we were moved and the one we ended up in was fab!). Rooms are clean and spacious (we had a junior suite). We were upgraded to full board on arrival as compensation for the Gym being shut for refurbishment (like I'd've spent any time in the Gym!!). Food was great, although could get a little samey after 2 weeks. The pools are beautiful and clean. The staff both in the hotel and around the pools couldn't do enough for us, and were so friendly and very funny - eveyone's a comedian in Egypt!!! The entertainment was comical - although don't think it was supposed to be as funny as we found it!! The hotel runs shuttle busses into Naama Bay a few times a day, but are also happy to arrange a cab for you if that's easier. Naama Bay was not really what I expected - a little Blackpooly for my liking, but again, the people are friendly and we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe a couple of times which was very reasonable. All in all a fantastic holiday and I would highly recommend both Sharm and the Coral Beach Tiran.
Fantastic!
We stayed at this hotel last year. It was one of the best holidays my daughter and I have had - the hotel was immaculate, the food was fantastic and the people were possibly the most helpful and accommodating I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My daughter, aged 13 at the time, collapsed by the pool due to heat exhaustion. She was carried to a lounger and a doctor was with her within minutes. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they carried her to our room, brought her meals and attended upon her constantly. When she was able to finally return to taking her meals in the hotel dining room she was pampered beyond belief. It was just fantastic... I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel and, indeed, we shall be doing so shortly. Gold stars for everyone!
I loved it!
i really enjoyed my stay at coral beach tiran! it was terrific and i could go there again! i really loved naama bay shopping with all the beautiful lights at night i think it was great! the staff in the hotel were absolutely friendly and kind.
Absolutely Wonderful!
Anyone who can fault this hotel, the staff, the cost, the location, the sea should be ashamed!! I have visited Egypt (not to Sharm) a number of times but this was the first time we were taking two young children, both girls aged 6 and 3. I had read the reports prior to booking and travelling, some mixed, mostly very positive. We knew there were no kids clubs but we believed the amount of activities we could provide the kids along with the various trips would make up for that. The hotel is beautiful. we had a room overlooking the Splash Pool (one of 3 pools) and the Red Sea, stunning. I cannot deny the 78 steps from our appartment to the reception/dining room/upper pool areas can be tiring in the heat but sacrifices have to be made. With regard to the food, the catering is continental, if you are expecting chips and burgers (for the English) then forget it. However, the hotel caters for all tastes, from the breakfast/lunch and evening meals. There is something to suit everyone. My children loved the food. The Staff cannot do enough for you. Tipping in Egypt is part of the culture, but you do not have to if you do not want to, but you will find it becomes natural because these people in the hotel deserve it. A couple of Egyption pounds every now and again means nothing to us but a hell of a lot to the staff who earn peanuts for working so many long hours for very little. The entertainment in the hotel is good, run by the animation staff, a mix of Italian/Russian/Ukraine. All speak very good English and the commentary's are in English and Italian. Pool sports in the morning and the afternoon in the Splash pool. If you want a quiet lay by the pool go to the pool by the Brauhaus bar or even better still go to the pool by the fitness centre where there is no one around apart from a large pool and a bar with seats in the pool! Below the splash pool you have access to the tiered access to the beach and the Jetti that leads you to the clearest sea you could hope to swim/snorkell/dive in. The sights underwater are amazing. The Coral Beach Tiran is a wonderful place to stay for a very relaxing holiday but with a fantastic opportunity to see how the locals live in the old part of Sharm and bazaas of Naama Bay. You are within easy access of Cairo/Luxor and the ancient wonders of what Egypt is all about. On a final note, my children were absolutely gutted about leaving because they had made so many friends and loved everything about the hotel and the staff. We were even more gutted about leaving!!! We will be back next year because there is no where we can think of that can beat Egypt and in particular staying at the Coral Beach Tiran. Hope this review helps!
Very NIce Hotel but......
I'm just truned back from Sharm :( I spent a week in the Coral Beach Tiran. The Hotel is Nice. There are about 800 Rooms. 90 % of the rooms has sea view. Mi room was just in front the sea. Was well cleaned and with all necessary accessories. The animation was pretty good. The rating form mi side is a 3 Star compared to Italians Hotel. The worst 3 things that I was not aware of! 1) Stairs. to go from tha baech to the restaurant you have a huge number of starirs to climbe. Somethig like 5 minutes.... 2) 3 persons on 10 has stomach problems (day pass 1 day and 1/2 on the WC). 3) It was very windy and some time unconfotable. Watch the Price of your tour operator. I spent for a week all iclusive in May 530€, some other Italians spent for tha same 670 €. I think that for this kind of Hotel you should not spend more that 550 €. By Roby
Perfect Getaway
This hotel was wonderful. Having read some not so good reviews online after booking, i was a little dubious. But when we arrived it was beautiful, clean, modern and set right on the beach with spectacular sea views. The staff were ever so friendly and polite, but be preparred to tip a little (only 1 or 2 egyptian pounds - equivalent to 10/20p) as they earn peanuts for working increidbly long hours in the blistering heat. April is a perfect time of year to go, we had no bad weather at all, any later in the summer owuld probably be too hot. This hotel has its own beahc - not the all the ones in naama bay - the biggest resort do - as this hotel provides a free qucik service to this amenity, it is worth staying here. It has its own jetty outinto the sea which can be used to view the fish or jump off into the water to swim with them. There were constantly hundreds of fish and snorklellin cannot be missed here. The entertainment wasn't that brilliant in the evening...but to be honest eating outside in the warm air is all you need, also what with getting up so early due to early sunrise you dont wnat to be up to late anyhow. There was only two not so good things about the hotel -very few english....which may seems like a blessing....but this leads tothe second problem...the food, not english firendly at all, or children friendly, but if you got ehf ew minutes to naama there is a wide selection. The hotel makes for a great holiday x
