The apartments were clean and bright but that's where the good comments end. When we arrived the English lady in reception was not to helpful, she very quickly went through how to work the air-conditioning which was of no use what so ever unless you stood directly under it and even then all it did was drip on you. The system needs upgraded badly. When i asked about the pool i was told they had a splash pool which was tiny and not what i seen in the photo on website. She then said they shared a pool, but when we went to see it i could not believe that the hotel it was in had not given anyone permission to use their pool, that was embarrassing, and what a cheek.
The resort itself is amazing and the bars, waiters and waitress's are really nice. The best wee bar we found was called Tiny's (Steve). When you go you will see why i called it wee.
We had a great holiday even though our apartments were not.

5 of us stayed in these apartments. Ideal Location not too far away from the main town of Puerto del Carmen. Accomodation was fantastic. Fridge, Dishwasher,Iron and Ironing Board, Toaster Kettle, Hob, Flat Screen TV/DVD Player. Security Alarm fitted in every apartment. Extremely spacious apartment to what Ive normally stayed in.
Only downside is the air conditioning is only in the main living area but because we had 2 balconies one in the bedroom and the other in the main area it gave a lot of air in. Fantastic Views from apartment.
Cleaners came every 2nd day fresh towels and clean bed linen place was immaculate. No reception 24hrs but still very safe accommodation. Straight accross from fab beach.
Taxis to main strip only 3e most nights. Ideal would def stay again!

Was a bit doubtful of going to Puerto del Carmen as we usuallygo to Playa Blanca, but took this as a last minute just at the start of the school holidays to get away from the rain at home.
However - this apartment is well outside the busy area on the way to the quieter Matagorda. Still withing walking distance to the hub if that's what you want.
Good facilities, the single AC unit could be better situated to cool the bedrooms and the fairly samll balcony would mean a lot of juggling furniture for four people. There were just two of us, so we managed well and could use the cooler of the two bedrooms.
Position was great - on sea front (partial sea vies from balcony)near shops and restaurants and easy parking off the main road - but good bus service as well.
El Molino retaurant - about 300 yards away excellent.
Shame the pool is not bigger - only a splash pool really, but if you can stand the noise you can use the large pool at the large apartment complex next door (which is probably quieter outside of school hols).

After reading some of the reviews on the internet we were quite concerned before arriving to Club Pocillos and Lanzarote. However could not fault the holiday what so ever.
Really clean and well maintained apartments and a fab holiday destination. our room was cleaned during our stay but was not disturbed every day which we felt was a good thing. Anything we asked about or wanted to know was provided to us by a lovely young maintenance man on the complex.
Such a friendly place to go and with the beach a stone throw away a Perfect Holiday Place!

impressed at first when we arrived (apart from no one in reception)
the apt. was fairly clean had flat screen tv, dvd player and dish washer.
first impressions didnt last!!!
no cleaning during the 7 days, only had bed clothes changed when we begged!!
when bed clothes arrived they had no clean pillow cases available!!
reasons given by nice english cleaner was that the owners of apt. didnt want to spend any money on such essential requirements.
had to buy our own cleaning chemicals as well as toilet role etc etc etc
would defenitely not reccomend this apt if you want a clean enviroment

Was torn between giving this t out of ten which is what it deserved or 10 out of ten as it was EXACTLY what we needed/ wanted!!! we were very impressed from the moment we arrived, apartments were clean and quite big, pool was nice but cold and food was fine all week with plenty of fresh fish meat and salads. everyone was very friendly although language was a barrier with one waitress. Met so many great people out there who we hope to keep in contact with. walked down to the commercial centre each night and beach was a stones throw away. as a group of 17/18 year olds it was perfect. Decent food, far enough from the centre to have relaxing days yet close enough to walk down and party (and get very very drunk) at night. even considereing booking up for the summer. Would recomend to anyone especially if you end up going at the same time as people like those we met there who really made our holiday. Matt x

A very clean, well maintained complex with friendly staff! We were very surprised at the high standards of Club Pocillos after booking such an inexpensive holiday.
Our apartment was top notch with security alarm, safe, air conditioning, flat screen tv, dvd player, dishwasher and more.
I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone going to Lanzarote. We will be booking there again next year without a doubt.

We booked this holiday last minute and were in No 8, Club Pocillos. We couldn't have been happier, the apartment was immaculate and very very clean.
The location was ideal because you're away from the hub of Puerto Del Carmen but you're within walking distance if you want more nightlife, we walked in every evening for dinner.
We would highly recommend going to these apartments, we plan to return to this apartment block again next year.

We arrived at Club Pocillos apartments and found they were quite unclean and had to buy cleaning products and clean the apartment before we could even begin our holiday.
On third night of our holiday our apartment was broken into by someone who had a key we found out the next day that that particular apartment had been broken into the week before we arrived. Needless to say it ruined the whole holiday for us. Our tour operator moved us to another apartment at our request but knowing that the apartments had been previously broken into I felt very let down that they were still sending holiday makers to these apartments.
Also building work commenced on the apartment block next door to us on the first day of the holiday and it was very noisy from about 8 o'clock in the morning.
I would definitely not recommend these apartments they are definitely not a safe place to stay!!!!

Travelled with MyTravel and were allocated the 2A Club Pocillos, resort of Los Pocillos, on arrival.
We took a taxi for about 8E (saved 2x£15 transfers) and arrived at Club Pocillos quite late at night. I’d recommend this in Lanzarote, as most of the main resorts are quite close to the airport.
The apartments are in an excellent location, overlooking Pocillos Beach. The bus stop, that will take to Puerto del Carman (5mins), Arrecife(10mins) or Costa Teguise (30 mins). There are several shops, bars and a very good Spa supermarket about 3 mins. walk away. Taxis are very cheap in Lanzarote (about 3E to Puerto del Carman, the main resort).
The Apartments do not have many facilities - no bar, shop etc. and reception is only staffed 9-4pm. There is a VERY small pool but you can use a larger pool at a nearby hotel.
Inside the apartment was clean, large and nicely furnished. A pay TV is provided and you can get a kettle and toaster from reception (no charge). We had No. 1, a 1-bed apartment on the ground floor facing the beach. Cleaners came almost every day.
During the holiday, we did have a problem with the shower tap. We reported this and it was fixed within 1 hour - no problem.
Lanzarote is an excellent holiday choice as it has everything - places to see, good restaurants, lively / calmer nightlife as you want, plenty of shops.
I would recommend the Club Pocillos to anyone looking for clean but basic, well-located accommodation.

As regular visitors to Lanzarote we used to admire Club Pocillos when passing by and finally decided to holiday there in May. We booked a seaview apartment. Our apartment was on the first floor.First impressions bedroom cramped, lounge- kitchen ok. For first 3 nights we got no sleep. A Rugby Team had taken over most of complex.Each night at 6pm they gathered in the 2 apartments below us and started their drinking sessions and loud behaviour, throwing rugby balls up to higher apartments and generally messing about.They moved off around 8pm and returned again around 1am and partied through the night until 7am.We complained after 3 nights to reception and were told they were leaving.Thing were quiet for a further 2 nights until a party of 2 couples in their 20ths arrived.One couple were below us and the other beside us.Walls are paper thin yoy can hear every word. On their first night they arrived back drunk and the fun started,shouting and screaming ,foul language and violence-furniture thrown around and bodies hopping off the patio doors, it was very frightning. One of the females was pregnant. The drinking continued the next day and the violence and screaming started again that night. I went to reception and spoke with owner she was well aware of what was going on, but said what could she do, she could not throw they out. I sugested she report the matter to police, she replied that i should do so. I informed her it was her responsibility not mine. She offered to move us, i said we were not the problem.The couples were spoken to and moved, but not before i was spat at and verbally abused by them.The apartments have no security at night, anything goes.Be prepared, you have been warned.The apartment was only cleaned once, sheets changed once, no toilet paper unless you asked.got towels ok.Bought our own cleaning materials etc.Fungus on bath mat and screen.We will never go again, run on a shoestring budget which is a pity.
