Flamingo Oasis Benidorm Hotel Reviews
My partner and i stayed here over Christmas, all inclusive, we have traveled the world and eaten in many top hotels and restaurants, the flamingo oasis was fantastic, the food was first class and the staff were very helpful, i can quite understand why people we met there had been many times before, we will definitely be back for more, the only criticism i would have is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, although these are available at the bar and there isn't an issue taking drinks back to your room. I was a little concerned when we booked because i don't know Benidorm. the hotel is in a perfect position on the main road and ten minutes walk to the lavente beach and five minutes from hundreds of shops and bars, wow if it could give it ten stars i would.
- Advice: enjoy the hotel and its entertainment

would just like to say what a good time we had at this hotel. we have visited this hotel 4 times, and the hotel looks like there trying to sort out the things people have wrote about . the last time we went june 2009 there was a lot of stag n hen being rowdy not anymore very kid freindly.we traveled as 2 adults and 2 kids 11y and 9y plus 8 month baby , and all loved it so much we booked to go back the night we got home. yes some staff dont smile all the time but would you after a 14hr shift , we could not fault any staff either behind the the bar or in the dinning area, the kids club. we have been to few all inclusives and self catering in benidorm and this is the best.
- Advice: relax and enjoy

My husband and I spent 1 week as club class guests. Overall we weren't very impressed. OK the club rooms were nice, although air conditioning in room is a joke and the free fridge didn't work very well. There were also stains on the wall which were off putting. We feel that for what we paid, we have had much better service (and friendlier service) in 4 star hotels which don't have club class, in Tenerife. The separate dining room didn't offer anything at all different from rest of dining room except for a few cakes and the air conditioning was non-existent. To us, the dining room was too warm, the food was tolerable,a bit like a self service canteen and no waiter asked if you would like something to drink with your meal i.e. water, juice etc. This service has always been provided in any hotel we have visited. We were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and really wished we had not picked this hotel. We noticed that when people were arriving in groups they were welcomed with a glass of champagne, we were welcomed!!! with indifference. The Club lounge is okay if you want to sit and watch telly. you can't take drinks out of lounge. You can get branded drinks in there but nowhere else in the hotel unless you pay for it, so if you want to see entertainment you have to have local drinks or pay for branded. There are very few tables in entertainment area so chairs are placed as though you were in a cinema and your drinks have to be put at your feet. We were hoping for a bit of luxury as we were celebrating 60th birthday but feel that we got less than standard treatment from this hotel and were very disappointed as we paid a lot for this holiday.

me, my wife and my 1 yearold went hear for our 1st family holiday. was well presented to us by travel agents told us what they were supposed to tell us but when we got htere it was a hole lot different. on the plus side of things it was absolutly spotless the staff were very kind and friendly and great with kids. on the other hand went at ther start of april so it was not to hot but not rubbish but at tht time it seemed a place for o.a.p's and were a bigger priority than anybody else and we were second best for everything. the food was so bad i wouldent give it a rating out of 10. was so bad most of our money went on food from a local british pub across from hotel and this was meant to be an all inclusive holiday. all the alcohol was waterd down. it was done so bad the beer looked like a pint of slightly coloured water but just tasted like water and was disgusting. very little for children to do all entertainment is squashed in a tiny room and very limited activites for kids. the pool outside was so so coldwe couldent even enter so we turnd to the indoor pool which was meant to be heated but was actually infact as cold as outside. only recommend if you are 60plus and like waterd down drinks and weird food such as fish bolognaise

I have visited Benidorm for short breaks about 12 times in the passed 6 years (I live 150km away in Murcia). I have stayed at many different hotels including Princessa, Diplomatic, Sol Pelicanos, Deloix, Venus, Cimbel, and the Flamingo Oasis is by far the best. The food is outstanding, the staff are brilliant, and the cleanliness is superb. We have now been back 3 times in 6 months and having just returned this sunday (13th feb) we have booked again for May. This is abrilliant Hotel and extremely good value. Paul Airey

Just returned from a holiday in september 2010....the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed in....food excellent....drinks ok, youd be sick before you got drunk,so great if you want to go to rehab, or dont like drunks....I dont like drunks! excellent for families but if you are around 50 like me you could be dissappointed with the intertainment....we endured kids entertainment for 2 hours to get a seat only to be told 4 times in one week that the show had been cancelled!!!! not good when they only had the decency to tell you at 11.15 when the show started at 11.00............this spoilt the holiday and i just felt they where taking the .......mickey ....but if you want the kids entertained its excellent...i wouldnt like to go after the last week in sept, as the bar by the pool closes and it would be a nightmare with kids to go upstairs to get drinks as only 2 allowed at a time and you have to be dressed properly....i would of gone baack but how they treated us over the shows....was insulting to say the least

My wife and i went club class xmas and new year for the 7th time. A group of drunken gypsy bare knuckle guests terrified most patrons for 3 days, young and old. On complaining to thomson,s rep we were told " they paid the same as you " and hotel security guard,s comments " tomorrows another day!" its not the 1st time for this, as myself and some other patrons recalled a previous visit by a similar crew. Apart from that , the hotel needs an upgrade in public areas and adding various curry sauces to the previous days left over food did not inspire us. Club class is way over priced at £2,770 for 2 weeks. The club bar is best described as a " snobbish god,s waiting room ".we,re 60 and were like school kids in the club bar. The staff were polite and looked stressed due to being under manned. Its a new chef and it shows on the repeating menu. no police were called when one guest was assaulted and had what looked like his ear bitten off.doors were booted off their hinges and lifts were commandeered by the boxers . We were extremely disappointed on this occasion and will not be back , as will quite a number of others.
