I have returned from this hotel this week during my stay, I found that this hotel did not like children or small Children. I visited with a two year old.
At mealtimes in the restaurant we were sent to the other side of the restaurant away from the main guests that were staying. It appeared that everybody with children on those occassion day had to sit together. The Restaurant Manager was rude and abusive at times to guests. We could not understand why you were not allowed to take drinks out of the restaurant as we were all inclusive and did not always want to get drinks from the bar. I would like this question answering still.
I have to says the descriptions that snacks available was misleading. In previous places I have stayed they have been freshly cooked, basically the snacks were left overs from the meal times in which had been stood for good lengths of time.
Do Not have a Picnic as it is inedible and resulted in buying food as we were not allowed to get some from the restaurant to eat.
We had bigger problems with the cleaner of the room. They refused to remove the wet nappies from the room we had to take them out of the hotel and dispose them. We were told that we could not have food in our rooms, and could not prepare baby milk during the night which was essential for my two year old survival. We were then told that we had to move the 8 litre bottle of water from our room as it was not allowed and should have purchased from downstairs in reception at triple the price.
I would reccommend this hotel but to older travellers whom do not have children as this hotel despite the tour operators advertises as being family friendly it is an older persons hotel and I think the hotel staff would prefer to be adult only.

Although the daytime entertainment/animacion was a bit flat due to the shortage of participants, the evenings were magic. Especially the shows in which the hotel's own animacion staff participated. These were absolutely magnificent and kept you glued to your seat from start to finish (apart from numerous trips to the bar, of course).
Advice: Magic promenade

Myself and my partner booked this hotel last minute with first choice, we had always wanted to visit Benidorm and thought the hotel looked nice in the travel agents. When we got home and read the reviews on here we were very worried.
However, none of these reviews reflect the holiday we had. We arrived in this beautiful, clean hotel. We had a huge, spacious room which was spotless. The staff were so friendly- the entertainment team were fantastic. There is a lovely adults only pool on the roof where it was always easy to get a sunbed. It was such a short walk from the beach and town centre. The food was outstanding- a huge variety. We met some lovely people on our holiday, families and couples who all had been coming to the Flamingo for years. It was a wonderful holiday, one that me and my partner will never forget. And this weekend we are off to rebook for this summer. So if you have booked and you are worrying, please don't. If you are a down to earth person who knows how to enjoy yourself you will fall in love with the Flamingo oasis.

Just come back from this hotel and I still can’t believe what some people write!
This hotel is excellent. The food can’t be faulted I certainly didn’t see greasy food and chicken curry everyday! We saw good quality food with a wide variety constantly stocked up and served to you by hard working polite waiters/waitresses. Snacks between breakfast and lunch are an extension of breakfast so you don’t have to get up early for breakfast. Hot meals, Cold salads, Deserts- If people can complain about the food on offer in this restaurant I’d like to know where they have stayed before. Just one more thing regarding the restaurant there was 7 different food counters serving a variety of food such as an Italian counter, children counter, desert and salad counter and a food counter serving a different roast every day amongst others.
The Bar staff were polite and served you fast and efficiently, the drinks on the All in was Strongbow, San Miguel and Cocktails, the local spirits were drinkable (the best I’ve drank in a hotel). Plenty of space in this hotel to find a seat and relax, adults only bars, TV areas, Smoking areas inside and out.
The rooftop terrace for adults only is a perfect sun trap with its own bar and relaxing atmosphere.
I didn’t take any children on this holiday but wish i did the facilities looked excellent for them- games room and a nonstop entertainments team.
The entertainment in the hotel was excellent for a hotel, providing professional shows and shows by the entertainments team twice nightly.
The rooms were large and clean and a pleasure to stay in.
I did hear people saying how they thought the hotel had let itself go over the years, In my opinion this hotel is still very worthy of its 4 star status, If you can get a hotel like this for the low price we paid for the facilities on offer then there’s going to be lots of different types of people there to and so there should be-we all have the right to go on holiday. I’m just gobsmacked by the reports of others who must think otherwise.
Loads more quality facilities to mention, there is a reason why this hotel still wins top awards and I would definitely be going back and would recommend it to anyone.
I appreciate some things may be different at different times of the year but the food, drinks and entertainment won’t change. Compare this hotel to the 4 star DYNASTIC PARK then this hotel is a 10 star. (have a look round for yourselves if you don’t believe me)

just came back from a 1 week stay in the hotel it was awful. My children were starving they ate chips everyday because the food was tastless and full of grease.
All the bar staff were really rude we were sat in the snack bar and one of the waiters turn the lights off on us so we could not eat our food.
The hotel is also crawing in cockeroaches we were having breakfast and they were crawling all over the wall.
The only good thing about the hotel was the entertainment even though most of it was for adults. If you were thinking about booking this hotel and you have kids and like food i wouldnt bother its a waste of money!!!!!!

stayed at the flamingo oasis in aug for 3 weeks food was the same day in day out chicken curry . lifts were a nightmare to get sunloungers were just as bad has the posh snotty people who stayed there must of camped out all night to get the same spot everyday of the week. saddos you know who you are get a life. bathroom leaked when they were getting a wash or shower from the room above plus showing signs of plenty of wear and tear needs some diy to get it back to a decent standard. entertainment team didnt try hard enough with the kids or adults to try and get some atmosphere going in the complex. people who stayed there think there better than you just look straight beyond you as if your not there, people with money think they own the hotel they act immature arrogant and too stuck up need to chill more especially the snotty women kicking the sun loungers near her spot .you know who im on about grow up you old get.

Just back from two fantastic weeks at the flamingo Oasis Hotel! Food was excellent different options most nights. Rooms were huge & very clean! All the hotel staff worked very hard to ensure we had the best holiday possible! all very friendly & helpful! I cant understand how people can possibly moan about this hotel as i found everythin perfect! The hotel caters to your every need as an all inclusive hotel should! The rooftop pool was great & temperatures were very high each day! will be returning for new year! Cannot fault this hotel!!

I just cant understand how people can moan about this Hotel. It is spot on the food was the best ive ever had at a holiday hotel , The lifts could be annoying but this was only around 7pm when everyone wanted to use them at once.

We have just come back from the Flamingo Oasis in Benidorm and will not be returning.
Although the hotel is beautiful and clean inside, the lifts are a nightmare and not big enough for the amount of people in the hotel. They are small, dark with tiny lights in the ceiling and very hot, we were on the 23rd floor and the air conditioning doesnt come on until you reach the bottom! One morning we had to walk down 23 flights of stairs because we couldnt get a lift and when you are lucky enough to get one it usually stops at every floor, even if no-one is there!
The pool is small (very deceiving from pictures we saw) and we could never get a sunbed or chair to sit on. The pool area is also too small for the amount of people and you could hardly walk round it. People were like sardines all cramped up together.
The hotel does not provide pool towels so if you are not aware of this you will have to buy them. There were lots of children splashing and playing in the pool making it very difficult if you did want to swim. My son went in twice while we were there and got bullied and pushed under the water and spoken to with some disgusting language. He wouldnt go near the pool after that.
The food is awful and very repetitive. A lot being used from lunchtime in the evening. Hardly any chicken. Pasta and breakfast cereal very bland and tasteless and chips for breakfast, lunch and dinner which always were soggy! My eldest son ate hardly anything the time we were there, it tasted so bad.
After evening dinner, the people there were like caged animals waiting for the tables to be put out for the entertainment and then literally running for for one to be near the entertainment outside and on two occasions a fight very nearly broke out over a table with swearing, shouting and abuse. This should never be allowed.
Queues all the time for drinks and if you want a tea or coffee in the evening and are outside watching the shows, you have to go upstairs to get it, only cold drinks are served near the entertainment and the wait is awful.
People were unfriendly and bar staff could be quite rude.
If you like tattoos, you wont be disappointed here! we have never seen so many.

me my huband 2 children aged 2 and 9 visited flamingo oasis august this year the hotel its self is very clean and beautiful but the food is dissapointing 1st week we were there was ok but there is no food for the children they cannot live off chicken nuggets and chips for 2 weeks so we had to go out of the hotel to buy food for the kids.the pool area is too cramped you cannot get a sunbed only way of getting one was to que up with all the sad o's at 8 in the morning then they were running to get one they should get a life !!!! also the staff was grumpy and there were kids running riot everywhere because the parents couldnt be bothered to see were they were.The lifts are slow but thats because the kids are messing around.I would not go back to flamingo oasis as i was very dissapointed to pay all that money for a 4 star hotel when it should be a 2 star.The best thing about it is the entertainment at night well done to them

right let me start the hotel is cleaned top to bottom everyday , no problem there, food ok a bit repetitive at times , chips for breakfast is a big no no,my problems were with the sun longers in morning , having to get up 7.30 every morning to be down for 7.45 to get my spot at shallow end of pool to look after my 17 month child , if you go with young children and want a certain spot wear a pair of running trainers , as you will need them , like i said i only done this for my young child as you only have 1 shallow end , if i never had young child i wouldn't be bothered , as for having buggies no way round it was like a obstacle course sometimes having to lift it over loungers , also the lifts if i was first going with young children , i would email hotel and request a lower floor no higher than 3 floor , cos believe me lifts are nightmare , we were on 2nd floor and most of time had to carry child down stairs in buggy so be warned i emailed hotel and i got 2nd floor , Another problem was the ignorent british people especially the southerners what ignorent people they call the foreigners but believe me the english are worse, so if it was not for these problems it would be a perfect hotel as rooms nice and big , and i like to mention the reps entertainment , they are great work really hard some really good entertainment, i hope this is beneficial if you are traveling to this hotel.

I went to this Hotel first two years ago, and in that time, I have to say they appear to have let their standards slip significantly. With the exception of the in house entertainment staff who were excellent.
The staff generally seem to lack any customer focus, and do not seem to realise that their attitude will stop people coming back. Nowhere was this more evident than in the restaurant, where most of their staff seem to take their lead from the head waiter.
The Hotel is showing signs of age, with bathrooms showing cracked tiles and basins, and the building over looking the pool having missing facias.
The pool was small and had a distinctive aroma, and the lifeguards were a bit fond of the use of their whistle, at the first sign of anyone enjoying themselves.
Food was good, but repetitive, with lots of evidence of food being recycled from lunch to Dinner etc.

This was my second visit, and over the last two years I have to say standards have not slipped they have avalanched.
The hotel is in need of an overhaul with sections of the balconys crumbling and tiles missing off the walls facing the pool
Food is very repetitive and the head waiter seems to run the restaurant like a victorian workhouse, making everyone feel that they are just there to annoy him.
Don't exchange currency in there you will get ripped off big time go in to town.
The race for sunbeds is laughable every morning, there are not enough for the number of guests see youtube. Talking of the Pool, I think the lifeguards are over officious, no inflatables, no balls, no tee shirts or hats in the pool, and don't show signs of enjoying yourselves, that will really offend them.
The lifts are woefully inadequate for the number of guests especially at peak times.

me and my family went to flamingo oasis for christmas 2007 . it was brill there was always something on for everyone from baby's to old people . on christmas eve all the children wrote a christmas list for father christmas . and children could have pictures with father christmas . then christmas day there was a disco for the children that was follwed by a magic show . then on christmas day father christmas brang a presant for all the children . the boys had scooters and the girls had teddys . then followed by christmas dinner served with a bottle of champagne and fizzy drinks or water for the children . on christmas day it was a lovely sunny day . christmas afternoon there was a mini disco for the children , and the games room was open also the sauna , gym and indoor swimming pool . to burn the christmas dinner off =] . christmas night was filled with shows and quizes which took us through to midnight by then it had been a long day and everybody was ready for bed

Although the hotel was very clean and the rooms large and airy that is about all that can be said on a positive note.
The food was mostly "slop" and appeared to be left-overs from previous meals disguised in sauce. There was however plenty of fruit available and it was just as well or we would have starved.
In house entertainment was the worst I have ever seen.
Extras are very expensive: Safe £20pw. Late room £30
You need to take your own towels if you intend to use the pool
Advice: In need of a facelift.
