Apr 2007, Ms J Hunter

There were 3 in our party we were all amazed at this wonderful hotel everything you could ever wish for on holiday.
Food, drink, entertainment, staff, cleanliness were all of a very high quality and standard.
Unfortunately the weather was not very good but the hotel coped with this very well by adding extra entertainment programs and opening other bars.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, we hope to go back again next year."cant wait".

Well I went away in October and it...

Feb 2007, Miss K Mcfall

Well I went away in October and it was brilliant for £200 each I couldn’t go wrong, my family go back to the Flamingo Oasis every year and love it,
It’s so clean and tidy, the cleaners are on there hands and knees cleaning the stairs and surrounding areas.
The buffet was really good and they even have themed nights, which makes it so much better - and how can you complain when it’s thrown in for free.
I loved the kids clubs, my kids were really pleased with it - on there last night they went to the "Chocolate Party" and they loved in having chocolate fights with each other then walking round the hotel with the reps singing at the top of there voice. It was worth the 3 euros entry fee to seem them enjoying themselves and interacting.
Location wise its brilliant, about a 10 minute walk down to the main Sea Front and its all flat and lovely a stroll with shops and cafes along the way.
Overall I give the hotel 10 out of 10 for everything - I enjoyed it that much I have re-booked for May 2007 so bring on my holiday!

Well for £1400 I could have gone to...

Feb 2007, Mr D Bramhall

Well for £1400 I could have gone to centre Parcs for a week’s accommodation only, or this hotel all inclusive for the same price. Guess who won.
The hotel has not had much spent on the outside but loads of money on the inside. They keep this place spotless.
The food was of high quality and catered for all tastes.
The drinks were flowing and never had to wait for more than two minutes for a drink.
They even allowed you to take a bottle of wine to your room if you wanted.
As a family the room was massive compared to what we have had before, double sink etc.
Even Benidorm in Feb is quite a nice resort. If you can get this hotel at the right price book it.

This was my first time at this hotel...

Feb 2007, Miss S Mackintosh

This was my first time at this hotel and I was very impressed. As Cabin Crew I have stayed in many hotels around the world, however Flamingo Oasis was hard to beat.
The food was the best I'd ever experienced, the variety each day was amazing! There was something for everyone.
I’m not usually one for the in-house entertainment but I must admit I found myself looking forward to it most nights.
Even afterwards there were plenty of other pubs around outside the hotel with good entertainment just minutes away.
The hotel is just a short walk away from the markets, shops, bars and beach. Which was great.
The facilities and accommodation were just as good, with spacious rooms and always clean.
Overall I would recommend The Flamingo Oasis Hotel to anyone looking for a good holiday.
I will definitely be back next year!

Fantastic, been there 3 times. First all-inclusive I’ve been where they give bottled water.
I was very surprised to find strongbow in their all-inclusive and bottled wine, absolute fantastic hotel.
Five minute walk to beach took us 1 hour because of all the shops. There is a taxi rank right outside hotel-take you anywhere, resort is just as good, nightlife in Benidorm is brill for all ages.

As we expected it was a little chilly...

Jan 2007, Miss J Reddington

As we expected it was a little chilly in the morning & night times and the pools were both freezing, (So we used the indoor one.) Also the outdoor pools were overpowered by a huge building so there wasn't much sunlight on it.
However the hotel totally made up for this! The reception was spotless & very welcoming. The food was lovely & there was a huge range of it. The outside was beautiful. We were put on the top floor which was floor 23, I was so scared at first but you soon get used to it.
I would recommend this hotel for everyone. (It is suitable for the less mobile as there are lifts & ramps everywhere.)
Overall this was an excellent hotel & I am sure that we will be visiting in the near future.

Dec 2006, Mrs J Beardsmore

On the positive side, we had good value for what we paid.
The hotel is lovely, and our room was one of the biggest we have had. Bathroom is amazing. Staff really good and friendly.
On the negative side, the restaurant food was monotonous, vegetables overcooked, sweets were the same lunch-time and evening. l lived on jelly for a week (good job l like jelly).
Public areas which were no smoking, people did smoke and were not challenged by the management. Animation team worked really hard, but the professional acts were poor.
Lots of handbags were stolen, from the dining room and reception area.
This was our 4th visit to Benidorm and we are unlikely to go again due to the fact we don't feel safe.

What an amazing Hotel. I can’t rave...
9 / 10
Dec 2006, Miss L Fredson

What an amazing Hotel. I can’t rave anymore about it. I've stayed in a five star Hotel, and the quality was some what familiar to that of the Flamingo Oasis.
Walk to the local shops isn't too far, and to get to the main strip is a short cheap taxi ride away. A taxi rank right outside the hotel was very useful, and at least 5 taxi's were always on hand, ready to take us where we wanted to go!
Plenty of staff at reception, even if they do get mixed up with who was first in the queue. Very helpful and fast working. Our swipe cards to get into the rooms did stop working occasionally. Which was quite annoying when all you want to do is get into your room!
Security were always in the Lobby of the hotel patrolling. Most were very friendly, but there was one who was very obnoxious and un-friendly.
Food was Ok. I've had better but then again I’ve also had worse. We were seated quickly and efficiently and waiting services were excellent.
I took a quick lift ride to the top floor to have a little look, all rooms were empty and the doors were wide open. I went inside one of the rooms to see black damp spots all over the top of the walls. And a damp musty smell. I'm glad we were placed on the 2nd floor.
We had a spacious balcony, but a terrible view. We had a Wall below. Slightly disappointing, but we had a bit of a better pool view from my daughters room 2 doors down.
I would return, hotel is gorgeous! Many different people from all over. Suitable for any Ages.
There really are no faults in the Flamingo Oasis.

We have just returned from flamingo...

Oct 2006, Mrs I S Ellis

We have just returned from flamingo oasis it was my first time abroad the hotel is very beautiful it is kept really clean the cleaners must work so hard and all the staff everyone had smiles on there faces.
The entertainment team were fantastic Damien, Chris, Ami and all the others they must work long hours to put on there fantastic shows.
The food was brill, you could have what you wanted. Only one thing, it does make you put on weight but it’s going to come off once you get back home.
Well me and my daughter will definitely be returning to flamingo in the future and I would definitely recommend you go try it. To all the workers at flamingo you work so hard keep it up luv Iris and holly jo.

Been reading some of the reviews...
10 / 10
Oct 2006, Mr T Smith

Been reading some of the reviews about the Flamingo, Oasis. I’m a very fussy bloke with a disabled wife and 2 teenage girls I’m amazed at the different reviews people give and I can only add my experience as I saw it.
From the moment we arrived at Alicante airport we were met by a wheelchair taxi arranged by Thompson we had to pay no money on arrival at the oasis as Thompson’s had paid the fare one way. The hotel has a wow factor as you walk in and doesn’t change the hotel is very clean and is constantly cleaned by the staff our cleaner on floor 11 Carmen came to our room every day and it was like walking into a new room daily by the time she finished.
My main worry when I left England as this was our first foreign holiday was the food as I’m a very funny eater and don’t eat anything but English the food was amazing well presented the restaurant was clean and well run you could eat till midnight if that was what you desired, the entertainment staff were truly fantastic and my children miss them very much at the moment as we have just returned last week.
They will only miss them till next year as I have already booked the Flamingo Oasis for September next year even down to the same room it was a truly great holiday.

Just returned from an excellent...
9 / 10
Oct 2006, Mrs M Neilson

Just returned from an excellent relaxing week in this hotel. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful.
Food was very good, something for everyone. Entertainment suited us as a middle aged couple especially the piano bar which catered for adults only and provided 60s music. Room was adequate, not the most stylish we have stayed in but roomy, clean and comfortable. I contacted hotel direct and requested room below 12th floor and was allocated 11th floor on arrival.
I would recommend this hotel for all age ranges who are looking for friendly staff and a laid back holiday. Only downside would be distance from sea front but taxis are readily available and cheap. All in all a good holiday.

My wife and I booked this hotel...
5 / 10
Oct 2006, Mr S Ingham

My wife and I booked this hotel expecting a good class of service and standards. We were initially impressed by the appearance of the hotel and were surprised at the size of the bedroom and balcony. The bathroom was also spacious and kept clean. The maid service was excellent, also the staff in general were helpful.
The food for the first week was acceptable but not exceptional, but the second week it deteriorated and became monotonous and dry, as if it had been recycled. The entertainment was in general very good and the team worked hard to keep everyone happy.
My main complaint about the hotel is that they had set policies regarding dress code for the evening meal, reserving of sun beds and safety around the pool. None of these were implemented when someone ignored them.
No one was challenged when they arrived for the evening meal wearing shorts.
As mentioned in previous comments, sun beds were regularly "saved" even though there was a notice saying staff would remove any towels if this occurred. This did not happen.
People were allowed to dive into the pool and use inflatables even though there were notices forbidding the practice. There was a lifeguard on duty every day, but I never saw him challenge anyone. If there was an accident who would take the blame, I suspect not the clown disobeying the rules.
We had specifically booked late September to avoid lots of children. We should not have bothered, there were loads of them. I thought they were supposed to be back at school. Obviously some parents care more about their holidays than their children's education.
This was our first holiday in Benidorm and we expected more from a 4* hotel, we probably won't be going back.
