Flamingo Oasis Benidorm Hotel Reviews
" By far the best hotel I’ve ever... "
Submitted By: Miss H McGregorAll staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel thrives on excitement, entertainment, great facilities, and not forgetting the mouth watering food, which are also made in to displays to add character to the well maintained restaurant. Eat and drink anytime of the day and night. - BRILLIANT!
The pools are part of the main attractions to this hotel including the adult only bar on top of the roof of the hotel, the games rooms, its own shop and even a hair salon, and beauty sauna and gym. This hotel has everything to offer, i didn't want to leave!!!
Its location is in a very convenient place, close by to bars and clubs in the square, and not too far from shops and Levante Beach.
Rooms are spacious and very clean, not a single problem at this hotel. Its 24 hour reception and security take car of everything. I even had the staff teaching me spanish.
I LOVED IT!!!!

Submitted By: Ms J HoustounNever really had to complain except for we had a smaller room and shower head was pointing towards floor making bathroom floor wet, staff changed room straight away. We are trying to get booked for 24thdec to 28th but its fully booked, we recommend this hotel to everyone as this hotel is all inclusive not like others where you have to bottles of water.
Rooms are very spacious and comfortable definitely worth a visit.

Submitted By: Mrs B AngusAs our holiday was October the hotel pool did not get the sun till 3pm due to the other tall buildings around So a 10min walk (or a taxi) to the beach to get the sun.
The pool was also freezing!!!!! But the kids didn’t mind.
We were on the second floor so we didn’t have to wait for the lifts, even though there is 7 you could just not get one.
Night entertainment not as good as expected, hotel staff most nights doing shows the real entertainers did not come on till 10pm too late for some people with kids.

The night time entertainment was really well set out and the way they have computers and english TV was really nice but when we was at dinner my 14 year old brother found a blue bottle fly in his pizza so it put us off eating. The pool was really good but the lifts where ****.
Submitted By: Miss A Walfordthe food I always found enjoyable and almost at anytime could boyfriend and myself eat. the bar was great not only did then serve till late we were aloud to order wine by the bottle and took them to our room after serving hours.
the only 1 thing I would have to fault the hotel on is once again...the lifts, thankful me and my other half are only 21 & 22 so we would walk, but its very hard to get a lift during the busy times like breakfast and dinner
I would say its either a place for a family with young children and older couples, I did feel a bit of the odd couple out.
Last thing to mention was the evening entertainment, OH MY GOD was it cheesy!!
from a week I only enjoyed 2 nights of the entertainment...and one of those I was hypnotised!!!
It was designed more for children and families......
take in to mind I am only 21 so I got bored easy...
Overall 8.5/10....... Great Holiday
(P.S go to Mundomar......The animals are really good).
We were stuffed after every sitting! Unlimited snacks are available in between also! The drink is great. You can drink from 11am till 12am (midnight) and even then you can fill your table up with drinks and stay till 2/3am if u like - and that’s if u don’t go to the nightclub (low-key and sophisticated piano player). You can get served till 1am in there.

The roof-top bar is fab. It’s away from the kids and its 26 floors up so the view is amazing. You can see Peacock Island from there. The large ground floor pool(s) are great for kids and family entertainment during the day till about 5pm.

The hotel is situated close to everywhere and is about 5 min walk from main centre where the pubs and clubs (comedians are second to none!!!). This is a must stay when going to Benidorm and no doubt we will go back again soon. Darren
" The Flamingo Oasis was in my opinion... "
Submitted By: Mr S BlackThe plus points first - The rooms were large with a big bathroom/toilet. The food was always excellent and plentiful.

The staff were always courteous and helpful. The swimming pool was large and there was always a guard on duty. They removed all the loungers at night and kept the pool door locked until 8:00 am the next morning which helped prevent towels being left overnight.
Now the bad points -The entertainment at night was terrible. Apart from a couple of nights, it was always the entertainment staff that did their thing. They made a valiant effort but it was cheesy, unfunny & embarrassing. The kids under 10 loved it.

The hotel is situated very far from the beach and town centre with very little bars nearby. The is sometimes quite a wait for the lifts.
The Flamingo Oasis would be fine if you have very young children or are an OAP. I won’t be back

Submitted By: Mrs C BrownAll 7 in our party became ill with terrible stomach pains and cramps. We have 2 young children who were 1 and 2 on the holiday and we so worried, we paid for flights home early.
We were told few others were ill - (as the comments below and the safety deposit box, we were ignored). We saw other people being sick. On our return, our daughter was diagnosed with cryptospirosis and was ill for weeks. To this day no-one at the hotel or tour company has looked into the numbers of people that were ill or acknowledged a problem!!!

I also found some of the bar staff rude and quite offensive, it seems to me whenever you go all-inclusive, staff seem to think you are having a freebie when they don’t realise that you have paid an arm and a leg to get there and to include your meals and drinks.
Overall I would stay here again for the rooms, which were spacious and clean, the kids entertainment which was 1st class and the food which was the best all inclusive we have ever had and we go on this basis every year.

The food was very good but did tend to be very similar all through the week, even though they tried to add some variety with their theme nights. The restaurant had the same atmosphere as a school canteen!
The staff, both the animation team and the bar and restaurant staff, couldn’t have worked any harder if they tried. Anything they could do to make you feel at home was done straight away, without any questions being asked.
The property itself is in a good position, about a ten-minute walk from the beach and just a short walk away from the nightlife, just far enough to not hear the noise on a night! The closest beach to the property is Levante which is long and sandy but does tend to get very busy during high season (sardine sunbeds!).
The nightlife has something for everyone from live bands to comedy shows through to the usual nightclubs and bars.

Submitted By: Mrs S BurkinWe did request a low floor room as I am not keen on lifts but we ended up on the 12th floor, I was 6 1/2 months preggers at the time so couldn’t walk up the stairs. Although the hotel was full we didn’t really have a problem with the lifts, you may have had to wait a couple of minutes for a free one.
The staff throughout the hotel were great.
The only problem we found was trying to get a sunbed around the main pool, if you didn’t get up at the crack of dawn you didn’t get one. (Maybe if all the people that put the towels down first thing and didn’t use the beds until later in the day actually thought about what they were doing there may have been a few free beds for a couple of hours).
There is an adult only pool on the roof though which was good.
We only left the hotel once, then we were back in it very quickly as there were some scary people in Benidorm.
This hotel is great for children.

Entertainment and kids clubs (provided by tour operators) provide a welcome break for parents. We have been so impressed we have just returned from our third visit in two years! Only downside, get your sunbed towelled-up as soon as the cleaners have washed the poolside at approx 08.00 hrs. or you will be struggling to get a decent spot!

We found the hotel to be very clean and spacious. The bedrooms looked nice but unfortunately the soundproofing between the rooms was disappointing as we had the champion snorer of the world next door.

The staff were friendly and reassuringly there was always a security guard on duty at the front reception area.

Overall the food was well presented and of a fairly high standard. I am a fairly fussy eater and my husband is also fairly selective in the food, which he eats. On the all inclusive option the staff encouraged you to take not just a glass of wine but the full bottle, which was a nice touch. The hotel is catering for many people and the choice, which was available, was very good.

I booked this holiday only a few weeks previous. The previous year my parents stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. This is a large skyscraper type building therefore care must be taken with children. My youngest child is 9 years old and whilst he was not with me there was plenty of food, which he would have eaten. Facilities for children appeared adequate. I would happily return here with my child.

I really enjoyed the entertainment they put on for you of a night and they had things to do during the day also, kids club, water polo....
There was 17 of us when we went and they catered for everybody's needs.
The staff were really friendly and I had so much fun.
