Hi, just come back from the most amazing holiday on the Costa Blanca and needed to share my joy with you all.
Everyone said Blackpool in the sun how wrong they are. I called a company that was recommended by a friend (travelall) where I spoke to the friendliest member of staff nothing seemed too much for her.
After doing a quick tour round the world with me she came across this holiday to the flamingo oasis in Benidorm she even gave a personal recommendation as she had been there with her kids last year.
And I wasn't disappointed the hotel was great. Food wise there was always plenty to choose from and always hot.
The entertainment was great something different every night, once they had mini disco out the way, but kids need to enjoy themselves too.
The rooms spacious and very clean and the staff very friendly.
The pool was clean with a lovely bridge over it there was only 1 down point and that is the sunbed situation but I guess you get that in most places.
But the best thing was I got a real bargain so thanks to the staff at travelall for such a fantastic holiday deal I will be recommending you and the hotel to all my friends.

Food excellent with loads of choice. Hotel immaculate. Lots of facilities for children.
Entertainment great. Good holiday all round.
In a good location in Benidorm very close to waterpark which was the best day out - we also went to the Mundomar and saw the dolphins it was just brilliant.
We went at the end of May and the weather was really warm just a bit cloudy occasionally.
The only thing about the whole holiday was that on some days you had to get up early to guarantee a sun bed, but most days you could get one if you got up a bit late.
Very good value for money and great for families but there were small groups of couples too.
Go its great!

Excellent holiday was placed on 24th floor (fantastic views) but 7yr old didn’t like it so the next day they moved us to the 4th floor with no problems.
Rooms very spacious with 3 large built in wardrobes including hangers! Bathrooms large with double sinks, beds made every day with clean towels if needed. No mini bar but we got over that.
Food very good breakfasts had everything on including streaky bacon, sausages, black puddings, beans, eggs and plum tomatoes, as well as continental.
Dinner & tea had good selections including great salad bars with crisp lettuce, cucumber, cherry tom ect, meats were a big hit on the carvery and the ribs were delicious.
Poolside got a bit crowded with towels being put out at 8.30am but we always managed to find a spot although there aren’t many umbrellas for shade. (we bought one for 7 Euros and lodged it in the sunbed).
Animation was excellent and the team need a pat on the back for the shows, the kids loved them - a real effort was made by all. The kids are safe as the security on the main doors is very good, you can only come in if you have your pass (with picture on it) with you so there are no strangers wandering about just for a nosey!
One last thing - take your beach towels as they don’t provide them for the poolside and you aren’t allowed to use the room ones.
Oh yeh and the drinks just flow, and flow and flow...

Just got back from our 10 day break (17th - 27th May) and it was fantastic.
We booked hotel and flights separate to get a better deal and I was a bit wary with it being Benidorm (my partner wasn’t happy when I told him) but we had a fab time.
We checked in with no problems but were put on the top floor (24th) which I wasn’t too happy with as we had our 7yr old daughter with us and she doesn’t like lifts.
But the receptionist was excellent and told us we would have to sleep there that night as the hotel was full but would change us the next day when rooms had become vacant and true to her word we were offered a room on the 4th floor the next day (the views from the 24th though were fab !!).
The rooms were the same with 3 large built in wardrobes with hangers, the bathrooms had double sinks, and rooms were made every day with clean towels. They don’t have mini bars in the room (that was the only fault with the hotel)
As its mainly brits who use this hotel the food is geared up for us with excellent salad bar with cucumber, cherry toms, crisp lettuce ect.. The brekies had streaky bacon, eggs, sausage, toms, beans and black puds as well as continental, dinners and teas had a good mix to suit most taste buds.
The animation team need a pat on the back with the shows they put on, they put a lot of effort into them, and the kids loved it.
We would defo go back again - they have security on the main doors checking your a guest there otherwise you can’t enter so you know your kids are pretty safe if they want to go from one area to another.
Just one last thing - take your beach towels because they don’t provide them and you can’t use the room ones.

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful time at the Flamingo Oasis. We have three children ages 4, 8 and 12 and have to say it was the best holiday.
We had a great time and have just booked to return next year.
Room was so clean and lovely view kids would get tired early sometimes so we would take a bottle of wine up and sit out on the balcony. Kids club is great and mini disco my kids loved it, you have to join in the fun sometimes, a holiday is what you make it.
This hotel has all the right ingredients to make a great holiday.

I have been to this hotel on two occasions over the last couple of years, and found it to be nothing short of wonderful.
Greeting upon arrival is a glass of sparkling wine whilst you wait to check in and have your photograph taken for your all inclusive pass.
Stunning marble type floors that you could eat your dinner off and lovely bar area with such attentive and courteous staff.
I always leave a tip in the tips jar daily, something I’ve noticed not a lot of people do.
These people work so hard, it’s nice to show your appreciation I think.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and so well cleaned / maintained.
The selection of food is great, and yes, sometimes, it doesn't seem to be steaming hot, but there are microwaves that you can just pop your plate into for 30 seconds which is what I did.
How anyone can complain about the variety of food I don't know, especially saying there’s no selection suitable for kids.... pasta, chips, "smiley faces", a massive array of meats and vegetables... if not any of this food, what do these people’s children eat I wonder?
A lovely hotel which I would recommend to anybody.

Stayed at Flamingo Oasis in Benidorm 22 April - 29th April 2007.
I went with my partner and his parents, the hotel was great, extremely clean, service excellent.
Bar and food were on from about 8am till 12.30 at night, if you miss breakfast, lunch or dinner there are always snacks on in between, couldn't fault the place.
Staff were very nice; room was lovely and excellent room service/maid.

On arrival the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.
We entered our room to find a very spacious family room overlooking the pool. There were four off us altogether and had no problems sharing.
The restaurant was open nearly all day for snacks in-between breakfast and lunch and dinner.
The choice was amazing, the only fault was there was too much to choose from, hence loads of weight added to your waistline. Tea/coffee etc available every afternoon with biscuits.
The entertainments team worked very hard and put on some brilliant shows (better than the entertainment from outside).
No complaints whatsoever, if anyone does complain then they must have rocks in their heads. You had to wait for the lifts sometimes but this caused laughs and jokes.
Met some really nice people from all walks of life. Children were running and enjoying themselves but this did not cause a problem as the entertainments team made sure they were quiet and out off the way for the adult entertainment.
Brilliant hotel, would recommend to anyone and definitely will visit again as we got o Benidorm every year. Shame the weather was not as good.

I have to agree with the negative reviews already posted.
I went with my husband and our two kids for a week and we were very disappointed considering we spent nearly £2000 for what was supposed to be a 4 star hotel.
Our opinion was that it was nearer a 2 star, yes the hotel was aesthetically pleasing but that is where it ends.
We were there for a week and not once was there a single thing in the restaurant that the kids could have eaten! And trust me our kids are not fussy!
And unless you like liver of several types of animal and steed fruits and veg you will struggle too!
The snacks which are served throughout the day are just the leftovers from the last meal. These leftovers are not edible as they have been sitting on the same hotplate until they shrivel!!
Everywhere you went you tripped over buggies - not occupied by children but by adults and I’m talking about people who had a disability - everyone had them as you can hire them for £4 a day!!
The entertainment was appalling and the entertainment team would struggle to get a job entertaining kids at birthday parties in fast food restaurants.
There was nothing for the kids to do - the outdoor pool was closed as well as the kids play park and the indoor pool was smelly and dirty.
I certainly will not be returning. We are not hard to please, we just expect an acceptable standard especially when it comes to food, we certainly paid for a good standard.

Just returned from 1 week at the Flamingo Oasis.
When you arrive the hotel looks basic from the outside but once you go inside what a difference! Tastefully decorated and very elegant, reception staff very polite and we were checked in within 10mins.
Rooms spotless and very spacious, we had a mountain view which was nice.
Went down to the bar area which is lovely asked for 2 drinks, proper glasses no plastic. Bar staff lovely and always polite and friendly, not full of drunks which I expected.
Security staff really nice always a good morning and a smile. Went down for dinner and couldn’t believe the arrangement of the selection of food from salmon, roast beef proper Yorkshires too, not chips all the time. It was like eating in a top restaurant.
Don’t know much about the entertainment went out most nights, try the rock n roll bar over the road, brill, and also look out for Rockefellers.
Gigolos didn't look much from outside but really classy inside.
One word of warning watch out for timeshares all over the place, tell them you’re going home that day.
Really enjoyable time, hope to go back really soon, please stay at this hotel you will have a wonderful holiday.

We arrived on Saturday 7th April, travelling with my husband and two friends.
We found the rooms to be spacious and clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful.
Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing I can say about this so called 4 star hotel which in our opinion, was more like a 2 or 3 star hotel!
The food was bland and the vegetables were tasteless, in particular the carrots and sprouts. On my 3rd day I came down with a really bad stomach bug and spent the next day in bed; the following day the rest of our party became ill, this being the coldest Easter they have had in recent years.
I believe the problem is due to temperature control, as the food was often warm instead of hot and kept for long periods standing in containers in a warm dining room (the heating was on in the dining room instead of air conditioning).
The wine was cheap plonk, however there were other drinks to choose from if you so wished, we declined and my husband had a decent pint at another bar.
The lifts were frustrating as you waited quite a while and then when finally getting one, went from one floor to another as children were running around pressing them!
The entertainment was spoilt by children running around till very late and we weren't impressed with what we saw.
Myself and our friends have been in many 4 star hotels which have certainly lived up to the standard you expect from a 4 star hotel, but we will not be going back to Flamingo Oasis!

This hotel was brilliant! Stayed here for Easter couple of month's back. 2 adults one teenager of 15.
Gorgeous food! Excellent entertainment! Friendly staff! Fab entertainment!
Our room was spotless and very large and comfortable. We was on the 23rd floor on the pool side of the hotel it was a great view but being that high we was always prone to using the lifts, so we will be having a change next time and will hopefully be on the 5th floor.
If you’re thinking of booking you won’t be disappointed recommend for all families and ages!
