Marios is a lovely hotel, very well kept and proberly the only hotel i've stayed in in Greece that had warm showers :)
Only problem was our door lock being broken which wasnt caused by us but was unable to inform anyone through the fact may have been charged if they were to not believe us. The other problem was being on the main road if you do come home at a sensible time (say 2am) may be issue getting to sleep with the mopeds && quads going past and having the addiction to beeping their horns! Also toilet roll isnt provided by the maids so a tip is to nick the roll from the bar toilets downstairs or have to spare 40cents for one from the shop over the road.
Perfectly situated with dirt tracks to the beach and two different ways of getting to the strip (one not recommended if walking on your own but in a group of 9 is fine) and there are plently of tavernas on the trip to the strip highly recommend the one opposite hotel (cant remember name) but has the cheapest cocktails available in the restaurants and also the best food.
If you fancy a trip out of Laganas hop on a bus (very cheap just 2 mins from hotel) to Zante Town or get a trip from the excursion people dotted around the resort to the waterpark which was very good fun even when hungover :)
Make sure you visit Cocktails && Dreams Best Bar/Nightclub in my opinion :)

The accomodation was great; i wasn't expecting much just a place to keep my stuff and occasionally sleep but the room was very nice. the balcony was great to sit before a night out. the pool is great with its own bar serving light snacks. We were situated pretty good as well; a 7 minute walk from the beach and about a 10 min walk to the main strip.
my advice would be to be very careful when renting either quads or mopeds as they do like to charge you alot for any scratch or bump. also they are fairly dangerous with the crazy drivers out there.
i had a great holiday if you hear anything else bad about the accomodation they it is just from stupid people who broke things or were too rowdy and annoyed the owner.

Marios appartments are great, our room was cleaned daily with clean sheets & towels once a week. The room was very big compared to alot of other studios i have stayed in.
The staff were great and really friendly, i dont think anyone staying had a problem with anyone and if any did it would have been for their own stupidness! If you want to go round breaking things in hotels you have to expect to pay for the damage, there is nothing unfair about that. But having said that i didnt no of anyone who did have to pay for breakages.
The pool and pool bar is very clean (cleaned daily!) and a great atmosphere, the appartments are about a 5 min walk from the main strip and beach so you are really close to everything but slightly away from the majority of the nightlife noise but its still quite noisey, but thats what most people are the for anyway!
Overall its a great place to visit if you enjoy clubbing, and lazing around on the gorgeous beach!

I and my 7 friends had an absolutely brilliant time at the Marios appts! I probably would have given it 10 out of 10 only there was some plonker named Holmes there that week. He was a totally pompous, nit picking individual! moan moan moan etc cry cry cry! That suns too hot, the pools too watery, the beach is very sandy, boo hoo hoo! He acted a bit of nuisance kicking footballs and being rowdy at all hours of the night. Never tipped the bar staff, in general was a bit miserable! The Marios was excellent though and we're heading back to prove it!!!!!
Rock on the Marios!!

I have just come back from the Marios studios and they are excellent. They are a 5 min walk away from the lovely beach, the shops, restaurants, and bars are immediate. The rooms are very clean but are a little basic with just cooking rings and a fridge no kettle, and a TV.
They also have air con which can seem pricey but IS worth it, as the rooms get very warm. I had no trouble at all with any of the staff at the Marios, they were very friendly and didn't see any one get charged for anything.
The pool area is also great with a pool bar serving snacks and drinks.
What I will say is don't hire a bike or a quad. Also you must go and see the turtles it’s a must it’s just fab, also if you like to shop go to Zante town where there are lots of different shops, it don't cost much in a taxi about 10 Euros each way but they do close around 1.30 for siesta.
The nightlife there is fab and I recommend it to single groups, young couples and anyone who just wants to party, overall a fab holiday and can't wait to go back in Aug.

The Marios studios were clean, tidy, and the staff were lovely. The pool and snack bar was a great place to relax and with only a five minute walk to the beach and the town centre shopping the location was excellent.
We travelled with Kosmar holidays and our rep was always on hand when needed and provided good advice on the best places to go.
It was great value for money and we would highly recommend the marios studios to anyone young or old.
