we stayed at the buenavista apartments for a week the 3rd to the 10th of september 2009 what a great time we had, the apartments were quite big ours was very clean, small kitchenette that did the job needed, it had a large fridge freezer micro wave 4 electric rings kettle etc.,all you need really we didnt cook ate out as everything we found wasn't expensive, breakfast in our own apartments cooked expertly mostly by the lovely and VERY FRIENDLY SORAYA, a happy happy young woman, full english large or small was exellent large mugs of tea or coffee, also really good, We found ALL the staff lovely and friendly. the woman on reception day time speaks no english so its difficult asking her about anything BUT she tries her best . someone will always be on hand to explain to her what it is you want. we ate out a tea time in the corner bar just out the apartments turn right and across the road a 5 minuit walk. we are in our 50's & 60's and had my 87 year old dad with us, he loved it so much he didn't want to come home when it was time. the crowd we met were brilliant because its not a huge place everyone talks to everyone else in the bar come restraurant area, but you can be private if you wanted that. not a huge pool but big enough the one down side was around the pool area needs decking or tiling as its grass around it and its really not suitable, but it certainly didn't stop anyone going in for a swim my old dad included. a good mixture of ages some people in wheel chairs or on sticks. beer is cheap and they havehappy hours in afternoon and again at night the young woman behind the bar who i've forgotten her name is an exellant barmaid also doe's snacks for you very quick to be served D.J.big john is a real laugh and will have you up on the karakoe even my dad ha ha, made his holiday.D.J.dave, and friend peter from pancho's also sing bingo IF you want it. towels we got 2 towel's each when we first got there and we then just paid 50 cents to change each two when we wanted clean ones. small price to pay. but there is a laundrette on the lower floor if you want to wash anything yourself. NOT ME I'M ON HOLIDAY. we had 12th floor balcony which was great as you do have a big hotel in front of you. but to be honest its not that close to cause a problem. big supermarket by the corner bar small shop in side apartments but pricy but its open untill 2am if you run out of anything. we will definatley go back again, bus stops right outside if you want to go into say the main part or taxis cost 5 euros my dad could walk it no trouble tho. we had a heat wave when we were there as well over 30*and times 33 & 35.hope this helps as you will read some negative reviews as we did, we got a pleasent supprise.

this was the second time we had stayed at buenavista, would say the first time round was better as we got a change of towels and our appartment cleaned in the middle of our weeks stay..having said that it is self catering so really cannot complain.
the entertainment was ok, they have karaoke every night which the kids join in with, which is good fun. they also have bingo for the women (and some guys) and there is an entertainer there on so many nights.
the staff overall are very friendly, although i would say the younger spanish female bar staff could learn some manners and how to smile, its almost as though they dont want the guests there.
the swimming pool is good for relaxing round and soaking up the sun, we do not have kids but if you do there is no supervision for them..
out with the hotel there is some really good places to eat these include the yorkshire pride 1 and 2 for good old fashioned pub grub and huge portions, so go when you are hungry, also have to mention lillys on the yellow brick road for a good carvery and freindly staff. the corner bar just up the street is nice for a breakfast and again freindly staff, micheals in the old town which is a restaurant and has a very good extensive menu, must also mention the liverpool arms and the honey pot they are both good places to drink or eat. a must see is if you go to the bay of cala de finistrat, you could have a drink or some food in molly malones, go up the steep hill when you come out and the veiws of benidorm are stunning

on the downside maid service is poor one towel and bed change during our stay, rubish not lifted at all .entertainment nightly in the hotel food also reasonably good but we ate out most of the time.the staff are friendly and helpful at all times
a 2 minute stroll to shops and a 10 minute stroll to the beach area .

Was my first time in Benidorm. it was quite nice. Apartments were clean and maid service twice a week. Didnt have many sunbeds and pool was very small. Plenty to do at nite. The corner cafe was a nice place to eat and very reasonalble at 6euros for a 3course meal. The rich bitches show in old town is a must to see very good show not to be missed. There was something to do every nite at the hotel if you wanted to stay. Would go back to apartments.

These appartment are fab, balconys are huge, only downside was the entertainment in the evening, Karaoke every night which got a bit boring, Bar staff are very friendly and speak very good English. Soraya behind the bar was just great she makes a mean breakfast!!
There is a market every Wed and Sunday about 5 min walk from the Hotel, the beach is about a 15min slow walk.
There is also hire shops if you want to leave you kids pram behind, or for 30 euro you can buy one from the "toysrus" like shop accross the road.
Dont change your money in the hotel as you get a low rate walk down to the Indoor Market and look for "TonyExchange" or "Sheila Exchange" they give you te best rate at no commision.
This was the second time to these appartment and I will be going back.

just back from a 2 week stay at the buena vista must say lovely spacious rooms and balconys. BUT if u like to sunbathe round the pool forget it the bloody hotel in front the flamingo oasis blocks the sun all afternoon but for a place to use as a base its very nice. not to far from the beach about a ten min walk. a lovely chinese nearby called china garden its a must only 4 euros 95 for 3 corse meal plus a drink bargain eh. also if u get chance pop in the tropical pub and have a chat with the parrot.

Just spent a fantastic week at these apartments with 5 friends. Apartments were large, clean, well equipped with huge balconies. We were lucky enough to be overlooking the pool. Very friendly staff in the bar area (Meooow - private joke-ask the bar maid) Pool area very pleasant with the bonus of an indoor pool, with nice garden areas to sunbathe and relax. Sun is blocked out for a short period in the afternoon, but with the temp, this is a welcome break! Good base for restaurants, shops, bars and the beach. You will not go wrong staying here.

Just spent 7 nights in the Buena Vista Appartments, I can't emphasise what a lovely place this is. Ideal location not far from anywhere the bus stop, supermarket takeaways, night life and the beech. The appartments are so spacious with huge balconys the staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for you especially those like Emma behind the bar! The food at Buena Vista appartments are better than you will get from anywhere esle and the price in the bar for food and drink are so good in comparison to anywhere else. Theres entertaintment from DJ Big Johnny and a cabaret 7 nights a week. Benidorm palace aqualand and the Mundomar are with half of a mile from the appartments. This was a last minute for me and my partner and probably one of the best holidays i ever had. A smashing atmosphere with all the other holiday makers made this a memorable holiday. Looking forward to going back..
The weather for the last week of february was in the 20s
