Stayed at Mitos apartments, the welcome was brilliant although it was very late. All of the staff were very helpful and entertaining the whole week, they couldn't do enough for us.The owner Mustafa was exceptional. We would definateley recommend this place to our friends.... more

exc.location not too far from alanya. realy made our hols wife could not come went with sister i am 64 sis 74. we had a great hol due to mitos.never had a bad meal. trips very reasonable.hope to book for october 09.recomend

Well were to start! Best holiday we have had. The apartments were huge, loads of room and cleaned daily,The staff were really friendly and always doing everything to make sure nothing could ruin your holiday. Mustafa the manager was lovely he was excellent with the kids, he kept the kids entertained by taking them on the horse and kart rides and making them non alchoholic cocktails also teaching them to speek turkish. The food was very good, the plank steak really nice and so was the Ballick (salt fish). There was absolutely nothing to fault and we will definately be there next year.

I can honestly say this was the best holiday i had.The staff at the hotel are great and are welcoming. I would go again.Its a beautiful hotel in a great location, just a 2minute walk to the beach. my Family and i loved turkey so much we have plans to move over shortly. We stayed at the Mitos for a week and everything was fantastic. the service was excellent, the food was excellent and everyone who worked there were really friendly and helpful. i enjoyed my stay there so much im going back next year.

I used this site before i visited the mitos as i coudnt find much information about the hotel or the area so i thought i would answer some of the questions i wanted to be answered. When we arrived i found the staff to be helpfull and friendly we paid for are air conditioning which made the whole apartment like iceland when it was on full!! lol. At breakfast we ate in the hotel and found the food to be excellant and i got addicted to the scrambled eggs on toast , they even had real bacon and tea lol. We managed to pay to go all inclusive on arrival and the food was fresh home cooked and tasty. The evening menu consisted of traditional turkish, mexican and a great range of steaks, salad and chicken ext. i recommed the plank steak(it comes with mash !), chicken kiev (which looks like a whole chicken its so big) and the fresh fish (which is prepared at your table), anyway enough about food !. the nearest supermarket is about 2 mins away and the beach is about 3 mins walk away, its clean , has showers toilets, food and drink huts and sun beds and umbrellas, it costs about £4 for 4 sunbeds with mattresses and 2 parasols all day. a taxi to the centre of alanya was about £6 and took about 5-10 mins on the bus it was about 50p and took about 10 mins I found the shops to be slightly expensive, but there was 2 weekly markets which where very cheap and sold good food produce and a good range of gifts and clothes.There was nightclubs at the harbour but i never went. There are loads of trips to go on fishing, walking , historical, eating, shopping . oba is perfectly placed and the hotel is in the middle with great access to everything without being noisey or uncomfortable. My apartment was huge , there was a bedroom with 1 wardrobe vanity table and double bed ,in the livigroom/kitchen there was a tv which had mtv and tnt in english on . in the kitchen i had a fridge and hotplate it was quite basic but to tell the truth apart from boiling a pan of water for a brew i didnt eat in ,the 2 cleaning ladies where wonderful, as my children were very messy and everyday they came they made a fuss of them and did a stirling job. Talking about children i must praise the receptionists for there childminding skills around the pool , they managed to keep the kids occupied on many occasions. The mitos has an internet cafe and a wonderful pool and sunbed area. In the evening we put the sleeping children in the air conditioned office and sat at a table by the window and if we got warm mustafa would bring a fan so we could enjoy sebos fantastic cocktails. There is some entertainment at the mitos in the evenings but generally we just had a long family dinner in a relaxing atmosphere then watched the staff dancing and laughing there way around the tables, The mitos has a warm and friendly atmosphere the staff and other guests seem to become your extended family , i think that is due to the ethos of mustafa the manager , i can truly say i am sorry to be home , i will miss all the staff terribly . In summary it was HOT, tasty, clean ,friendly and well worth the money!!!!!! x

Not long back from a fortnight at the Mitos and I miss it!!! It was absolutely fantastic! From the minute we arrived the staff were on hand to help with our luggage and show us to our room. That pretty much set the tone for the holiday - the staff were fabulous and although they worked very long tiring hours they always made a special effort to make you feel welcome and meet any need you may have. The owner Mustafa was great too. Very friendly and would sit with us at night. I honestly can not stress how good the service was at the Mitos - thank you to you all - Frank, Ponytail, Borak, Flathead, Chipdip, Ouhr, Bouffant hehe obviously that isn't their real names but they all know who they are - sorry to those of you who I can't remember your names or don't have a nickname for! We spent most of our time around the pool which was lovely. I guess it was a little on the small side and the 'NOISY FAMILY' didnt really help matters. They really did cause chaos at times although there was nothing more the staff could have done to try and make everyone else's stay better. We were just unfortunate that we encountered the rudeness of the 'NOISY FAMILY' The beach was not great very stoney and painful on your feet. The resort itself was good. We went into Alanya just once as we found everything we needed in the resort of Oba. Food was good in most places we ate but it never really compared to the food, service and value for money we got at Mitos. I highly recommend the Mitos. It was a fantastic holiday and the staff were second to none!

Just got home from 2week holiday at the Mitos. All I can say is go!!! You won't be disappointed. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff do everything possible to make you feel welcome. We made good friends while we were there which was down to the owner Mustafa introducing us to one another, and we also made good friends with all the staff. Like many resorts abroad the staff are very hard working and are there til your ready for your bed which in our case was never any earlier than 2am every night!! But this never seemed to bother any staff and quite a few would come and join our table and sit for hours having a great laugh, the staff and service we received there is probably what made the holiday as good as it was. The beach is not great in Oba unless you enjoy causing physical harm to your feet on stoney beaches, so we spent most of our time at the hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, and the food they serve is probably the best in the resort which means the restaurant can get quite busy but the staff will always ensure they get you seated and no matter how busy it is the service is always 110%. The resort itself is fairly small but Alanya is only a short bus/taxi away, but even if you don't want to travel to Alanya there is plenty in Oba to keep you entertained. Like other reviews I would say the pool is quite small but very nice, unless you have a 'NOISY FAMILY' or 3 there like we did. They caused mayhem and many tourists just stared in disbelief. Anyway the hotel is great, staff are more than great, pool can be great, shops & bars etc good, all in all Mitos is a great place to stay and we would love to go back.

Oh my god, we have just got back from a week away at mitos, we did not want to come home, we wish we had stayed longer food was spot on and the staff were amazing. it is situated on a street with lots of shops and 2 mins from the beach. we loved all the staff, they made us feel so welcome, boss (mustafa) ugur, sebo, neehat, ali, ibriham, ibo, oskan, borak and all the others, im soooo sorry i cant remeber all you rnames. please all visit there, it was the best holiday ever and we are going back in 2 months, thats how much we've loved it

My boyfriend and İ have just returned from a weeks holiday in the Mitos Aparthotel in Alanya (Oba). We were recommended this hotel by family and friends who have already been there and returned six times in 9 months - thats how good it ıs:) Mustafa (the owner) and his staff - in particular Alı, Sebo, Nihat, and Mr Bean! looked after us very well and went out of their way to accommodate us in any way they could. The accommodation is clean and basic and the rooms are very large and have a large balconey. There is air conditioning and for those who can't leave work at home - there is internet access. We ate at the Mitos most night as the food there was excellent as was the entertainment provided by the bar staff. We stayed up very late most nights and enjoyed the company of other guests and the bar staff. This is one of the best holidays we have ever had and we would certainly make a point of going back there - hopefully very soon.

i would recommened mitos to anyone travelling to the alanya area. as soon as we arrived we were greeted by smiling faces and very helpful staff, even at 6o clock in the morning. the room was basic but had everything that we needed and was clean and comfortable. the food was great in the restaurant and we ended up eating there every night. the staff were amazing and completely made our holiday. they were friendly and fun and i would easily feel comfortable staying there on my own. the hotel was a five minute walk to the beach and there are shops just down the road for supplies.mustafa the manager was a very funny man and they would all come and sit with us in the evenings.i would definatly go back. charlotte bass southend.
