Mitos Aparthotel

We have just returned from a two week holiday in the Mitos Aparthotel in Alanya (Oba) with our 9 year old daughter.
Mustafa (the owner) and his staff - in particular Alex, Ozzy, Sonic, and Frank looked after us very well and went out of their way to accommodate us in any way they could and keep our daughter entertained.
The accommodation is clean and basic. There is air conditioning (at an extra cost) and for those who can't leave work at home - there is internet access.
We went on a day trip to Dimcayi and a two day trip to Pamukkale. Both were wonderful. We booked with Sandy Tours (turn right outside Mitos and it is the 3rd street on the right) The owner Ali was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We ate at the Mitos most night as the food there was excellent as was the entertainment provided by the bar staff.
We stayed up very late most nights and enjoyed the company of other guests and the bar staff.
This is one of the best holidays we have ever had and we would certainly make a point of going back there.

Just back from a two week stay at the Mitos and can't rate it highly enough. All the staff contributed in making our stay very enjoyable, the whole atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the service was always with a smile.
The apartments, pool and restaurant were spotless.
The resort itself was small but still had plenty to do and the beach was only 2 minutes walk away.

This was one of the best holidays I have ever had. I hope to come back soon. All the staff were full of energy, fun and sociable, they are also very friendly and try to make you welcome and they give you the best holiday you could ever wish for. There was a variety of food which was great.
The hotel its self was always very clean and tidy. The entertainment was fabulous; there was something entertaining on every night. The hotel is also close to the beach, only about a 2 minute walk, which was very handy.
I would recommend this choice to anyone, so start getting booked up. (now)

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at Mitos. I have 2 sons aged 16 and 11. We all had a wonderful time; the boys did not want to return home.
The staff are exceptional at Mitos. They go out of their way to make your holiday enjoyable - nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.
We were unhappy with the ground floor room which had no outdoor access and were moved within 24 hours to a lovely room overlooking the pool.
As other guests have mentioned the cleaners arrive daily and do a wonderful job of keeping the apartments spotless. The shortage of a kettle and a toaster were the only small complaints, we had but we managed well without either.
Everyone is very friendly both at the hotel and in the surrounding areas. They are particularly fond of children, playing and joking with them and my sons enjoyed every minute of the holiday.
Mustafa ensures that the guests are well looked after and is extremely helpful with any queries you might have.
The Dim Cay and Alanya boat trips are beautiful and worth experiencing. The market is also v. close and worth a visit. A visit to the Turkish baths is a must!
We would definitely return to Alanya and Mitos.

The reviews of the Mitos are spot on. The staff are fantastic - Mustafa and his team made our holiday the fantastic experience it was. They get everybody involved, and ensure that they make time to have a chat with everyone.
A special mention should be made for how well they look after the kids - even a 15 year old, like my son Scott. He had an absolute ball - going for moped rides with Mustafa, and generally having fun with all the other staff. Again, a special mention for Ali who is a perfect gentleman.
Although the Mitos is a fair distance from the centre of Alanya, it is in a perfect location with plenty to do in a smaller part of the resort (Oba). The street that Mitos is in is pedestrianised from 4PM to 1AM.
Although there were plenty of places to eat in the area, we pretty much used the Mitos for all our meals and drinks. Good food, good value and of course great staff.

After a long journey that lasted 16 hours all together we were really pleased with what we saw. The apartment were really nice and the tree that came up to our balcony was beautiful.
All the staff at Mitos work really hard and try to make your holiday special.
The rooms are really big clean and tidy we were in room 206 which looked over the front of Mitos the view was great, we could watch the world go by.
We ate often at Mitos but liked to go out and sample other places to eat this wasn’t a problem with Mustafa and his staff, relax bar down the road is really friendly as is memos bar.
You will find lots of different characters in the bars such as Bob Marley and Mel Gibson in relax and Robert de Neiro in memos.
The only thing wrong with all of alanya bars is they all do the same shows like balancing glasses on there heads and break dancing
There is a market at the back of Mitos on a Monday but you’ve really got to haggle with them. Just walk away and they’ll drop there price.
You must have a day out at dim chai it’s in the mountains it’s a great Turkish day out.
There are many different trips to go on try and do as many as possible as they are really cheap if you book them on the streets.
Hope we can go back again next year as we all had a great time.

The apartment owner picked us up by taxi after we were unable to stay in the Abacus Sun Gardens (see separate report). He asked for no taxi fare and took us to a suite that was so clean and smart. The apartments are located in the middle of where the town comes alive at night, with its many shops, places to dine and the sea. I didn’t eat other that one meal elsewhere as the food that the owner Mustafa’s staff supplied was the best we had eaten in the town and very good value.
We were treated to a member of the reception giving us a song on his Turkish lute .It was a real pleasure watching and listening to him practice.
I was told by Mustafa that on our last evening he would personally cook us a meal but my husband and I had been out without hats on and got a touch of the sun and were unable to eat. I did not want to order meals that we were unable to eat as the staff put so much effort in making and presenting good quality food.
I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they did for us and will stay there again. The apartments were large with a real double bed in one room and 2 lovely bed settees in another room.
If I have a small moan it would be that the televisions do not receive any British channels and we like to see the world news! This hotel has an internet cafe section priced at about 80 pence an hour, so you can get news downstairs if you wish. I will go to this lovely apartment /hotel again and thank you Mustafa for saving us, as we would have flown home had it not been for you help and kindness! See you soon Mitos !

Our first time to Turkey and we will be back thanks to Mustofa and all his staff.
The apartments are great, much better than expected.
Every night was party night and every one goes the extra mile to make sure you have a good time. Thanks again Mustofa(especially for the Camel ride)
We had some great trips White water rafting etc. but would advise you to shop around for the best deals (try the guys just down the road from Mitos.
Alex is a great fire eater, don't miss out on Tuesday Turkish night.
If you’re really feeling brave try the Parascending and see the Turtles.
Without doubt our holiday in Turkey was made really special by the Mitos gang!

This has been the best holiday I have ever had and I would go back in a second! This was my first time in Alanya and I would highly recommend this resort in Turkey.
Everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful! The hotel itself you did not have to wait for anything. All the staff were extremely helpful and so friendly to me and my family.
Mitos is a place to come if wanting a relaxing holiday, must suitable for families. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome right up to our departure. The staff were very good with the children, taking time to talk to everyone and entertain the children such as playing with them at the pool or taking them to play football.
The restaurant offered a wide selection of food and drinks at good prices. There was entertainment on every night which highly entertained the guests such as the glass show carried out by Alex (my favourite bar man) to the fire show.
The location of the hotel couldn't have been any better, just minutes away from the beach, shops, and other restaurants. There was plenty to do in Alanya and I will back next year.
A big thank you to all the staff at Mitos for making my holiday a great experience and I will be back for two weeks next time!

Mitos apts are excellent value for money, very spacious and spotlessly clean. What you see in the brochure is what you get with the added bonus of the friendliest, most helpful staff you could wish for which makes for the most enjoyable holiday.
Although this is a self catering holiday this property has a lovely restaurant, open to the public, serving an excellent variety of mouth watering dishes cooked to your taste. each evening there is entertainment performed by the multi-talented staff.
Once a week there is entertainment provided by a belly dancer, hilarious fun. All of this is overseen by the owner Mustafa who is the most genial host. Nothing (within reason) is too much trouble. This year was our second visit to the Mitos and it will certainly not be the last!
