" excellent place to go "

Santa barbara is an excellent place to stay for all the familly. They have kids entertainers during the day and also the kids are catered for in the evening when they are given there awards for the afternoon kids clubs .Every evening they also have different shows which are fun and can be a good laugh .I have been there on several occasions the staff are excellent and will assist you with all your needs. make sure you get out early in the morning to get your sun loungers , because they get taken quite quickly.Beware of the time share side off this hotel do not invest as it is cheaper to book as a hotel and flights, as the time share maintenance per year is approx £1000.and rising every year. On the upside book it as you would any normal holiday and you will not regret it. Enjoy your trip

" THE BEST "

This is one of the best places i have ever stayed, ive been 3 times to these appartments, and tis december it will be my 5th time to this area of Tenerife. The appartments have great balconies, all the staff are extreamly friendly, and the maids ,leave you little notes on the fridge, :) great entertainment, including a parrot show! the pool is massive, and there is a great supermarket on site that sells fresh sandwiches at dinner time,i would go again and again and again to this resort, i LOVE it and would reccomend it to everyone :)

Advice: its a lovely quiet area, with some little shops and good restaurants

Activities: go to del duque its beautiful, and sanblas has an amazing all you can eat buffet at oriental palace.

" brilliant holiday "

This Hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. The staff, especially Teresa and Mario at the front desk and Merce the lady who cleaned our apartment, were all really helpful and did their jobs superbly. The hotel itself was brilliant. Everything at hand in the kitchen, nothing left out, a satellitte t.v., music system, fans in the living room and bedroom, a totally fabulous place that I would have no hesitation in recommending to family and friends, and we will definitely be returning. A well deserved 10 out of 10.

" As a family with 3 boys under 12... "

As a family with 3 boys under 12 years old this hotel was brilliant. The apartment was spotless, huge and had ocean and pool views (apt 306 if anyone wants to know). The pool was crystal clear and warm, kids pool a little chilly, but when they are jumping around they dont notice. As we had a few cloudy days the boys stayed in and watched films that were played at 9am and 5pm everyday, such as Pirates of the Carribean, Cars etc. Lovely restaurant nearby called Harbour Lights. Not much to do in the immediate area but if you are looking for a relaxing quiet place to stay then this is for you. Im not one for entertainment but during the day there was t-shirt painting for the kids and boules etc for adults then the evening entertainment was a kids disco with games, which again we dont often go to but it was very good and the boys loved it, the adult entertainment was also good. All staff were most helpful and friendly. You wont be disappointed!

" Have been to this hotel several times... "

Have been to this hotel several times with my nan and grandad and also a friend of mine. we spent two weeks here and thought it was amazing. there was so much for us to do in the disco/nightclub and also very close to San Miguel where there are several other restaurants and bars there.
Over the two weeks there must have been around 20 of us and there was lots to keep us entertained. during the day there was water polo or aerobics. also, at the side of the small childrens pool area, there is table tennis and snooker and other kids club activities to take part in

the restaurants just around the corner from the hotel are very nice. and also on certain dates if you walk past them and carry on walking, there is a market with lots of different stalls on. well worth a trip.

also, across the road from the hotel is an irish bar called The Wild Geese. this is a tremendous pub and hosted serveral big premiership games whilst I was there.

Las Americas is close by and cheap to get to. excurisons are well worth the time.

can't wait to come back here again
the staff are excellent. the rooms are huge and spotless. and the view from the balcony is brill.

" Absoloutly love this hotel, it looks... "

Absoloutly love this hotel, it looks stunning and has gorgeous views of the sea. First went in march 2006 and am going again in october 2008 with family. its very much a family orientated hotel as theres not much entertainment for younger people. as being a young adult myself i found there wasnt really much to do on the resort entertainment wise, not sure whether thats to do with not being in there in peak season. still though its a lovely hotel, beautifully furnished rooms and the staff there are extremely helpful and friendly. no problems at all with disturbances or late night noise. oh yes i do remeber there being a disco/bar at the hotel, although have never been! location is great as close to airport approxiamtely 10 minute drive. found a great mexican resturaunt just out of the hotel, if you turn left as you come out of reception and carry on past the car park entrance then turn left to go down towards the beach, i remeber walking down a windy path then turning right definatly recommend! there is a shop in the hotel which supplys many useful items food/cleaning/toiletries/cigarettes/ kids stuff etc but nearest supermarket is just a short drive away near another complex where you will find other shops and resturaunts. hope this is useful info to anyone!

" We have just returned from a 7 day... "

We have just returned from a 7 day break over New Year and we found this complex to be excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient - nothing appeared to be a problem. The accommodation was spotless, well equipped and spacious. The balcony of our apartment was huge and overlooked the marina - a beautiful view to waken up to every morning.

The restaurant, Elefante Blanc, served lovely food at a similar cost to surrounding restaurants. There was entertainment on every night in the disco and DJ Dave was a treat to listen to. We were very sorry to have to leave.

I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a relaxing break which is exactly what we were looking for. We took a taxi in to Las Americas on a couple of occasions which cost about 20 euros each way although the bus journey is only about 4 euros each. We certainly would love to return at some point.

" My mum and dad took me and my 2... "

My mum and dad took me and my 2 sisters to this wicked hotel, to tell the truth it was a good time and a good laugh, loads of nice people to meet there. It's not the best hotel for action, quite boring at most times but gets better along the way, I'd advise peeps to go, best hotel me and my family had been too.

" Just returned from Santa Barbara G... "

Just returned from Santa Barbara G & O Club.

Excellent, relaxing holiday - Quite, if we wanted action we could get a taxi and be in it within 5 minutes.

Accommodation - excellent!

Weather - Hot with wind (be careful you can burn easily)

Average price for a meal for 2 adults and 3 children in and around the area 70 Euros (this includes a couple of drinks each). Best restaurant on the Marina called Marina II (The Farmers).

" I booked a flight with Globespan for... "

I booked a flight with Globespan for myself and my friend who is disabled. In the past we have had a few difficulties with airlines, but I can honestly say that although Globespan is supposed to be a cheap airline, their service and help to us was second to none. From check-in to in-flight, the staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. I would definitely recommend them.

I have heard some horror stories about timeshare but this is the first time I have stayed at an RCI resort, and can confirm that the accommodation was first class. The Jacuzzi bath was enormous, and the only thing that annoyed us was the amount of planes flying over the resort to land at the airport, but once we closed the patio doors at night, we could not hear a thing. Very quiet.

There is a Chinese restaurant which was first class and if you ask any of the locals or people who work there, they will tell you exactly where it is.
