We've just been to Kranjska Gora for our first skiing holiday and loved it!
It's a beautiful area, very scenic. The resort itself is quite small with a relaxed atmosphere and the locals are friendly.
The Lipa was excellent. It's a small (10 rooms), family run business and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It's in a good location, quiet and just a few minutes walk from the slopes.
The rooms were well furnished, extremely clean and comfortable. You can stay B&B or half board.
We chose half board which was very good value: buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal.
They also have a very popular pizzeria with a traditional, wood-burning pizza oven. Highly recommended :)
We will definitely be going back.

The rooms were very clean and well appointed.
The restaurant and quality of food was excellent. They have a wood burning pizza oven, which makes great pizzas.
The resort is quite small with a limited amount of night life, although it does have a casino!
Slopes are good for beginners and the more experienced. Definitely will be returning.
