Lunamar Apartments

Me and my husband took our two children age 15 and 4, and we had a fab time the apartments are very clean and the pool is very clean to,the beach is a bus drive, but the bus is only a 2 min walk and are very cheap.
the staff are very friendly and helpfull, you must go on the lazy day boat trip its fab.Book at the harbour with the white Prince boat its fab and cheeper than the reps trip.i will be going again. Take some english notes you get more bargins

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the lunamar... We loved it...the staff are fantastic very friendley and will help you with anything.. The rooms are all great there was a 14 of us(ages from 15 to 54) we had 4 rooms between us all were very clean, towels and bedding were changed 2/3 times a week they even tiedied our very untidy teenage boys room up for them...
the 2 pools a cleaned every night, there are pleanty of sunbeds round each pool...the pool shop stocks inflatabels, sun cream ect and the mini market is open 24 hours...the bar staff are great always happy and will talk and have a good laugh with you, drinks are priced the same as every were else, we didnt eat there but some of our party did and said the food was great.....yes the hill is a bit steep but not that bad and you can walk round its abit longer but better on the legs...
we went july 9th 2010 for 2 weeks, and have just booked for aweek in october with out the teenagers haha xx

this is by far one of the best holidays i have ever had. the accomodation was absolutely fantastic, the staff were very friendly especially the bar staff and restaurant staff. the hotel itself was situated in a quiet area of marmaris but not far from some of the nightlife and some fab restaurants including carols, la kebab, new york bar and red rose restaurant. most places have 2 for 1 on cocktails and if you look around some have 2 for 1 on all drinks. One of my personal favourite places that we went to was Antique palace. this was a hotel but had fantastic evening entertainment. personally though most nights i enjoyed going back to our hotel to have drinks after having a meal because we became very good friends with the bar staff and will be keeping in touch with them. they did a lot for us and deserve a lot of praise. we didnt go down to the beach much because there were to many people and you got quite a lot of hassle from restaurants asking for your custom so we did prefer to stay in the quieter area although most of the sunbeds on the beach are free to use if you like to be amongst the bustling nighlife and lots of peopl. i will definately be returning next year for another fantastic holiday and would highly recommend it.

We have been to the Lunamar 2 times and really enjoyed our first visit,staff were great and infact could not do enough for you.
Second visit was very the oposite as the staff were very sleezy even towards teenage girls, they were hounded to the point that one group of girls stayed in there rooms for the last four days of the holiday. Some of the youger members of staff were treated like slaves by the management. The staff verbaly abused you if you went out of the hotel for a meal. Me and my 13 year old son witnessed 2 members of staff having a fist fight in the pool room,,,,will never go back

I had an amazing time at lunamar apartments i went in may for my 21st birthday with 2 of my friends we read a review about the heart attack hill which wasnt that bad we were far out from the beach but it was a 10 min bus ride away, which we wasnt to bothered because we dint like the beach anyway. i wudnt reccomend elderly people to go to this hotel because they would have a hard time gettin up the hill which people called the heart attack hill but for younger people it shudnt be a problem. the hotel and staff was great the staff were so polite and nice and a great laff. our room was great it was massive plus we had 2 balconys which was great. the staff made my birthday so special i cant even put into words the basically had a party for me i had the perfect table set up and the perfect cake that my friends put together i met some great girls up there which i still keep in contact with. i would deffiently recommend this apartment to people the staff made that holiday so special for us the hotel food and staff were amazing i would deffiently go again xx maria xx

me and my partner hav just cum bk from lunamar we were very pleased with the room wen we arrived, very clean and spacious. the recption staff we very friendly and carried our bags straight to our room. the bar staff are extremely nice and culdnt do more for u i wud go go bk just for them (excellent) people who hav left bad reports on here, (i cant c y ) obvisously are used 2 more expensive holidays because i cant fault it . Yes the hill up 2 the hotel is a steep climb i wudnt recommend it 2 the older people, but apart from that there is nothin else bad i can say a nice cheap and cheerfull holiday, thumbs up 4 me :)

well myself and 3 friends, so 4 21 yr old girls on a holiday,should be fun!
but however arrived at apparetments and was sorley disopointed we got landed a room on top floor and theres no lifts in the reject building (the one with green on it) and a hideous view of an half built hotel.
but however we all thought we all we are going to do in here is sleep so we didnt care, but then the next day we found out how far away we was from everything, if we had dared to walk it would have been about 45 mins, but luckily there was a local shuttle bus service which was excellent. then we had out meeting with our rep who never showed up so we didnt get told anything.
the actual resort of marmaris is amazing i loved the resort and would recomend anyone who is thinking about to go but just not to this hotel. there is one benefit there is guy called jay and he is english and he is a right laugh! but however all the other staff speak aren't so nice.

holiday absoulutely fantastic, hotel really clean ,staff nicest people u will meet, food to die for , pools good sizes great for cooling off , entertainment was good i really enjoyed the staff show n karaoke night, n yes it is on a big hill but its not that big lol, i would recommend this hotel to all i know n would go back in a second , it was my first time in turkey but it definately wont be my last especially at that hotel.

1st time @ lunamar would go back staff freindly, hotel clean, food good, pools ok size, weather superb wot more do you need for a great holiday. Mostly all reviews you read about the lunamar are 85% good. would recommend this resort to anyone. the big hill keeps you fit i lost a stone in 1 day lol. Pool has far to much chlorine so goggles are advised thats it try and enjoy thanks ian.

Went to luna mar september 08 was apps terrible from the minute that we checked in there was 6 adults and 3 kids all going to turkey to have a good time.. we checked in and the boys at reception took are luggage to the rooms, which dinged 5 on the lift, got into the rooms there was no balcony but iron bars over the windows (thought i was in a prison camp) Mother is claustrophobic so being on the top floor was bit of a struggle, having iron bars she took a panic attack. we went to reception to be told that we would have to talk to the tour rep, we went looking for the tour rep, finally found him and no we couldnt be moved room, but he could move us hotels (why would we want to be split up from the rest of are family thats why we where there, for a family holiday) mum ended up sleeping in my sisters room on the first floor. There was a man that worked in the beauty place in the hotel, he sat with us at our table for the first few days wanted us to take a turkish bath so when we decided to do it. The turkish bath was terrible, we were made to feel very uncomfortable with the men. After we took the turkish bath the man just walked past (there was no shouting and waving then) he had already took are money. The hill was a great walk down but trying to get up again was apps terrible esp in the sun... The whole turkey experience was awful walking around the shops come buy come buy but if ur not buying there telling you to get out of the shop, the men were greasy discusting slimeballs. There was a restaurant across the road Carrolls it was completley the ticket, thumbs up to use.
