We had a great holiday at the Las Marinas club.
We went after the kids had gone back to school so it was really quiet which was great. Our kids had the three pools to themselves most of the time.
There was daily and nightly activities with the entertainment staff.
The food was fabulous nothing to complain about.
The rooms were lovely with lots of space, also very clean. The hotel was quite away from things but there is a free bus that can take you down to the beach and shops.
The evening entertainment was a little boring and the bar did shut at 12am so if you wanted a drink after that you would have to go into the town. Overall, it was a great holiday.

We have just returned from an All-Inclusive break at Las Marinas Aparthotel in Costa Teguise and wanted to write a recommendation (especially as we couldn’t find any holidaymaker reviews before we went). We were really pleased with our light, spacious one bedroom apartment. Typically, we did find some of the facilities such as the satellite TV gauged towards the Germans. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous and would bend over backwards to help. The restaurant service was rather over efficient, to the degree that one’s attention shouldn’t wander or your plate will be cleared away. However, the food was wonderful and you could eat as much as you wanted at the buffet style meal sittings. The hotel was situated in a very quiet area and would definitely not suit someone looking for raucous nightlife. Admittedly, with two young children to tuck up in bed, we did not see much of the hotel entertainment. However, our children enjoyed the mini disco at the start of each evening and, from what we saw of the of the main acts, they seemed very good. There were quite a few activities for the children to join in throughout the day and, although they spoke little English, the three staff responsible for children’s entertainment were very good with the children. If you are taking young children, ensure that they have a pair of swim shoes, as the tiles around the pool area were extremely slippery. We ended up ensuring that our 3 year old wore her sandals constantly after she slipped over about 10 times in the first couple of days. However, the choice of three pools gave plenty of space to swim and relax with a drink from the poolside bar.
There is a courtesy bus to take you to the main beach area, but it is walk able in about 30 minutes. The bus return times meant that you either had to have a quick 2 hour trip to the beach or go for 5 hours plus. Although the holiday rep advised that we could easily take a taxi back, the taxi drivers get really annoyed at transporting sandy beachgoers. However, the beaches are clean and not too overcrowded, with sand perfect for building sandcastles and rock areas for the children to explore. There are some nice beachside cafes offering good, reasonably priced food.
Overall, we found it a lovely family resort.

The Las Marinas apart hotel is clean and comfortable and the food is fantastic. However the all inclusive drinks are a nightmare. They only open the outdoor pool in the day and the inside at night. This is fine if you have good weather - which we didn’t. Don’t ask for a bottle of wine to take to your room if you need to give the children an early night, even if you have already paid in your all- inclusive package, they won’t give it to you as you could re cork it and take it home. The inside bar finished serving all inclusive at 12pm and all other drinks for that matter. They then turn the lights out then tell you to go to bed. You will probably be bored senseless by 12pm anyway as the evening entertainment is useless. The winter heated pool is freezing cold as it is apparently solar heated not pump heated. This is fine if there is some sun but about as much use as a chocolate radiator if there isn't. Choose a different resort or even a different island.
