Comments:  DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL! me and family went for two weeks, it was a lovely place with lovely weather but the security gaurds are corrupt thieves! me and my brother stayed in our own room and one night we found out that the security gaurds came into our room and stole our money! we know this because some of our family were staying in the room next to us and they saw them go in. we reported this to the local authoritys but they just didnt care. why, because the police said they knew the security gaurds and werent interested in making an investigation. it doesnt get more corrupt than that. dissapointing as this sounds, the cleaning and food is marvelous and the entertainment is outstanding (if you get involved). Be aware of their selling techniques. there is a reason for the safe, be sure to use it and hide your wallet if not in the safe. corrupt! go at ur own risk

Comments:  The Riu Caribe is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The dining room and food were excellent. We felt very taken care of by all the people there. However...

The beds were pretty much like sleeping on plywood with sheets.

When we arrived (very late at night) they put us in a room with two double beds when my reservation was for a king. When I requested a change they told me that I would have to wait 3 nights before we could move. Very disappointing for my husband and I to have to squeeze into a double bed or sleep separately. Really didn't help with the romance of a Caribbean vacation. Then, in order to change rooms, we would have to pack all of our things and have them in the lobby by 10:30 a.m. We would then have to leave all of our belongings in the lobby until 3 p.m. (check in time) to be placed in another room. It wasn't worth the hassle to us for one night.

We were VERY disappointed that there were no waiters available at the pool or at the beach. If you wanted a drink you had to go get it yourself. This was a huge hassle if you were on the beach because you had to hike up a large flight of stairs to get to the one bar by the pool. The cups were so small (and they would only serve you one drink at a time) that you would need another drink by the time you got back to the beach. This was unacceptable to us.

Overall, my husband and I agree that we will not be staying at any Riu hotel again.

Comments:  I stayed at the Riu Caribe in Cancun Mexico for two weeks.
All i can say is amazing!!
The food was perfect, all brand named drinks, the staff in the hotel are fantastic.
The Riu Caribe is about 5 - 10 mins away from the tourist area where all the bars and clubs are.
The beach at the hotel is lovely with soft white sand and the water is crystal clear!
The rep with first choice is a man called Eric who is really helpful, he will help you out with everything you need and his knowledge is excellent!
I heard people say avoid going down town but i went against that and went on my own, not much there but was no problem.
Best way to get around is on the bus, it costs about 35p.
When i go back i will take there local currency with me and not us dollar. £1 = 20peso, by the time you change your money into us dollar and get money back in peso its not worth the bother.
At the Riu Caribe you can change your english money straight up into peso.
I recommend this hotel to young, mature, single, couples or as a family.
I will be going back again without a doubt!

Comments:  We have just returned from our Xmas/New Year break in Mexico, I would thoroughly recommend this tour company and hotel group.

The hotel staff were exceptional and very helpful the hotel was immaculate throughout. The restaurants were plentiful no need to go hungry even for the fussiest!

The beach was clean and tidy plenty of beds and shades, I would like to have had a longer beach for walks, but due to being on a peninsular the beaches are man-made and are only as wide as the hotel's grounds, still big enough for a stroll though.

I praise the entertainment team they have the toughest job there is plenty to do for all ages, we hardly saw any children due to heavily packed kids club with activities. Most of the adult activities included 'tequila' great fun for all. Evening shows provided were excellent. With so much to do we didn’t venture of site but there were buses every 10 mins for minimal fare, the activity team arranged free transport several times a week.

I can recommend the massages on the beach at such a good rate it would b a perfect way to unwind. We made such good friends I’m sure we will be returning some day for a reunion. My advice would be take a bigger size in clothes as the food is delicious you will soon fit into them! HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Comments:  We had a brilliant holiday and cannot understand any negative comments about Riu Caribe.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean and fully functioning.
The staff were always helpful and accommodating.
The food was very nice, would of liked to of seen more traditional Mexican food, it could get a bit repetative but you just had to be clever with what you ate each day for the variety.

The swimming pool was very clean and safe, beach was fantastic.
We stayed on the beach mainly as we preferred it, sun loungers were fine, you had to get up early for the swimming pool ones but on the beach you usually managed to get one. The towels they provided were clean and suffcient.
The entertainment team were good but we did not really watch any of the entertainment.

Eric our rep was really good and helped us a lot.

We will definately return again!!

Comments:  First of all I would just like to thank the First Choice crew who were just the best I have come across. Plenty of leg room 33 inches without upgrading.

Having just returned from this hotel I was very disappointed as it was not up to a premier hotel standard. It certainly was not up to the usual Riu standards. The rooms are tired and in need of an update.

The food is ok and if you get fed up with the pool restaurant at lunch time, go inside to the main restaurant. Drinks are plentiful and inside the hotel is the 24 hr sports bar for drinks and snacks. The beach is better at this hotel than at the Riu Cancun. The local buses are cheap and you don’t have to wait long for one.

The Riu Cancun is a much better hotel for food and you can eat and drink there if you wish. If you’re young and you want the clubs it’s just staggering distance from the Riu Cancun.

The Riu Yucatan in Playacar, having stayed there 3 years ago, is a much better hotel and to the Riu standards but in a natural setting right on the beach. If you want a beach holiday this is the place for you, and the beach is looked after better than at the Riu Caribe. The food choice is much better at either the Riu Yucatan or the Riu Cancun.

Comments:  Well I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at this Hotel.

I must say before I went I was a bit confused with so many reviews saying this hotel was great and just the one from Mr Lewis completely slating the hotel. But I decided to keep a open mind and see what I found, and as I thought, I found the negative comments to be unjust.

I am in my late 40's and went with my partner to stay at the Riu Caribe, I can only say that we had a lovely time.

The hotel I would say is more 4 star than 5, but that is only because I compared it to the Riu Cancun which seemed a bit more plush. The rooms need updating the decor is a bit old looking. However, the rooms are very clean, well maintained and the bathrooms are nice.

The food is very good and lots of choice, with 3 other restaurants you can eat at if you book early. The waiters and restaurant staff are excellent and will do anything to assist you. I never met 1 member of staff that was having a bad day, they are all so accommodating and friendly. And the all inclusive is 24hrs so you can eat and drink whenever you want.

The entertainment was excellent, considering it was all done by the hotels own animation team, the shows in the evening were very good, and a lot of thought and practice had gone into making them worth seeing. We enjoyed the shows very much, they were so funny.

There were a lot of activities going on at the large pool area, however if you sat round the smaller pool you were not asked to join in and were never dragged off your sunbed, nor were you pestered on the beach.

You do need to get out by the pool before 9am if you want a sunbed in the sun.

My only gripe about the pool area is that the sun goes down early 3.30pm ish, it disappears behind the hotel. The only area to keep the sun is part of the beach.

The hotel is approx 45 mins walk from the main entertainment area, but the walk is a nice one. You can get the bus for 6 pesos, they come every 2 mins and it costs the same to go anywhere, so well worth it.

It is my 1st time at a Riu hotel, and it wont be my last, I was very pleased with all aspects. The staff were great, the food was great and the weather was great. I would definitely go back.

Go and enjoy!

Comments:  We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel in October 2007. The staff are very friendly and could never do enough for us. The hotel, surroundings and food were exceptoinal, BUT you have to get up very early if you want to book your favourite restaurant for that evening, and be prepared to queue. I was in the queue at 7am but the the Steakhouse ( where you get the best steak in the world ) was already fully booked. The rooms were kept lovely and clean BUT the beds are very very hard and the sheets felt a little damp. The in room bar was great, if you like alcohol and fizzy drinks. This was a let down for me as they wouldn't put in any fruit juices, they said they were not included in the mini bar ..( hey, i paid for all inclusive!!?? ) nor does the room have any tea/coffee making facilities. As i am T. total and hate fizzy drinks, this was a big inconvienience as we had to queue in the lobby first thing for a tea or coffee from the machine which only worked sometimes. Apart from those minor hiccups, we had a great holiday. The boat trip over to 'the island of the woman' is well worth a visit, this was definately a highlight , as was Xcaret and Xal-Ha, truly fantastic places.
According to all the weather summerys, we expected quite a bit of rain ( with it being October, rainy season ) but only had a bit on the second day, but that didn't spoil anything in fact it was quite welcome. I dont think we will be going back, even though we had a really fantastic time.

Comments:  If this is a 5 star hotel, then I am from Mars. Let’s start on this my return to Cancun (my favourite holiday destination).

The coach takes you along the 'hotel strip' which is where that most famous of pictures of Cancun from the air shot that's in all the mags on TV ect are. I’m looking forward to this stay in five star luxury, but as the coach gets closer to 'downtown' I am already getting that feeling that the Riu Caribe is not going to be on the strip but in downtown.

But we pass downtown and it is obvious now that we are not in the strip or even downtown but some considerable distance from both (a bus ride of 15 mins or more).

The Hotel on arrival looks large and impressive, in the main lobby you get information given and welcome drinks are a very good start to the holiday, and it looks like a very promising holiday despite location.

It does seem very warm in the lobby but I have put that down to just getting used to the very warm weather of Mexico that I was yet to adjust too (this would prove wrong).

The lobby holds the main bar and a small stage for evening performances and reception area. At night the humidity is very high and although there are fans high above if there was air con it could not have been working. As your shirt would be soaked to your back within seconds. It was unpleasant and certainly not somewhere you would want to sit and watch whatever was happening.

The main dining area was also fan cooled not anywhere as bad as the main lobby area, but again if there was air con it just wasn't up to the job.

As for the lifts they work and they are fast and they need to be, there is no air con in these at all and if you ever remember stepping into the red phone boxes to make a call on a very ,very hot day over here you will know exactly how it was, you wouldn't want to ever get stuck in one of these. Both male and female dressed up for a good night could well be sweat marked outfits before you step out of the lift (and we all love that).

There was a large selection of foods for all taste (as Mexico always has) but this was not of a 5 star standard by a very long way, the dining service was dreadful, the waiters and staff are good but quite simply do not have a clue.

Remember this is meant to be a 5 star. So would you expect it to have butter at breakfast time, pots of coffee not to be simply weak and without flavour but that can be got around by ordering a cappuccino and getting that by the cup as you like.

Well, that's if you are not told it will be awhile we are not ready (at 7.30 am)? some 30 mins later along it comes. Other mornings a wait even be asked if you wanted a tea or coffee and never got asked or if you did, you just never got it.

Even one morning the buffet style breakfast where you could help yourself had not even cooked what was obvious to see the most popular of food 'bacon' in its place carrots? What was they thinking?

Pancakes in maple syrup for us to try the American style would be an alternative, well if the maple syrup hadn't run out without any replacement. Even basic things like no cups. or salt and pepper pots on the tables, forgetting to ask if you wanted water with your meals or a drink was quite common. Quite simply the waiting staff were friendly and pleasant but just didn't have a clue.

Now for the rooms, I say rooms because I had at my request to be moved to another mid holiday.

On arrival the rooms look big have a sat TV, free mini bar, free optics too. A balcony with a view over the private beach (remember not on the 12 mile strip).

I did have a hot water problem and the call from reception to see if all was ok I informed them of this problem and it was quickly dealt with (it did fail again the next day but eventually it got fixed, but again no hot water in a 5 star)?

The first room had an adjoining door (locked) as did the room after that I can only guess that most of them do.

Problem with the first room at the back of the hotel is constant noise from the busy dual carriage way road at the hotel front (this is even along that famous strip but the hotels there are set a lot further back so you do not hear a thing, not so Riu Caribe not quite up to formula 1 track but not what you want if you have gone for rest with some peace and quiet.

Something that I soon found out was not going to be possible due to the people in the next room, whose noise at 4am 5am from being out at the world famous night clubs of Cancun was like being in the room with them.

Eventually moving to a glorious suite at no extra charge but again noise from the next room was like being in the room with them but in this case just ordinary talking. So conclusion the walls are just too thin (although the front of hotel will free from the constant grand prix of the back rooms).

In fairness the rep of first choice was excellent and the reception manageress was great but if the building doesn't have the thick walls then you are stuffed and that's a lot of the problem.

Not finished with the noise issue yet, You like me have probably seen the pic with the girl standing at pool side doing some kind of exercise and like me you are thinking well if I fancy doing that I will and if I don't then I won't.

The exercise routine and constant 'lets all join policy' dominates the day (every day) from about 10am-4pm yes they are good and yes it’s fun to watch and great if you want to take part. I have no objections to any of that and my God they work hard to entertain.

But you cannot escape it as the speaker system will carry the noise to your room the beach everywhere and it becomes annoying. I don't want or need the Butlins bit thanks and I was not and again doing not expect it from a 5 star hotel.

Remember there is just the one pool here its big but it’s still just one, again for Cancun and the star rating this has you may think that's good. Well, I can tell you now it is not as most have 3-4 maybe even 5 pools. Is that being flash? Not at all it’s so the kids get one, the adults that want to swim get one, the fun and games group can have another, and quite simply you can pick to do as you like.

The pool party organisers will also inform everyone that they have arranged for those wanting to go to local night clubs to meet in the lobby at 10.30p.m and take them to the best night spots, that's good if you want to do that but if you don't you may have a room next to someone that does. I did and it doesn't make for fun.

So my conclusion is this of Riu Caribe it’s for the younger set not quite an 18-30's but getting there if you are in that group you probably had a great time (my nephew would love it he's in his mid 20's) for me mid 40's dreadful. The Hotel its self is at fault not the staff.

As you may guess my final comment on the Riu Caribe is where and how did it get that 5 star ratting? I have stayed in 3 star in Turkey that were better cost a lot less.

One of the Channels on the Satellite TV is just for the Riu group showing all these wonderful hotels they have. It shows a man in a Broad room meeting getting stressed out and needing a break (much like myself) his words are 'I want to go to Riu' and the show of Riu hotels begin.

Well, I can tell you I never want to go to Riu! Anywhere and never will. In short they say there is one certainty in life and that's that we will all die, well I have two one that I will die and two that I will never step foot in a Riu hotel again as long as I live.

Comments:  We stayed for 2 weeks in May, and it was brilliant. When we arrived at the hotel we were given a glass of punch and the ladies were all given a rose each.

Your cases were taken to your room for you. When we got in our room (991) the maid had laid out rose petals on the bed in the shape of a love heart, which I loved. The view from the balcony was brilliant, overlooking the poll and the beach.

We ate in the buffet restaurant most days, we went to the Asian restaurant a couple of times which was really nice, and also the steak house, but we had to book this at 07:00am to get a table as it books up really early.

The entertainment team are really good and are there all day, there is always something on in the evening.

We went on a few trips, the jungle tour which was good, and also captain hook which was a good night and a bit of a change from the hotel for a night. We also went to xel-ha which I really liked, but you are on the coach for nearly two hours to get there and the same back, also you get picked up at 07:15am which was a bit too early for us.

I had no problems finding sun beds by the pool or the beach, anytime of the day. We always could find two together.

The buses come every 5 minutes and cost 6.5 pesos to where ever. The only thing I would say about the buses is they can cram you on!

We had a lovely holiday and would recommend it to anyone.

Also we had the option to visit the other riu hotel down the road. this was also good (not as good as caribe though) great varirty of food in the restaurants.

Had a wonderful time and had a fantastic day. Wedding was very well organised with a beautiful set up.

Comments:  Let me just say if you haven’t booked this hotel, do it now! And if you have, what a fantastic choice!

Me, my sister and my mom and dad stayed for 2 weeks (from 2nd April – 16th) at the Riu Caribe and after looking forward to it for several months we were not disappointed!

God knows where to start – we were all very tired after our 10hr flight so it was great that check-in didn’t take too long.

We were greeted with some fruit punch and all the women were given a rose each – lovely!

After being given our all-inclusive wristbands (with the wristbands you get access to the sister hotel – Riu Cancun where you can also eat and drink for free, the Riu Caribe is a nicer place in my opinion though) and key cards etc we headed up to our room (433).

The views are stunning!! I think everyone has a balcony facing over the pool and beach. Shame our balcony was very small, the rooms below us had huge balconies but it cost quite a bit extra for a larger balcony from what I heard.

The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was beautiful, also very clean. Sadly the room wasn’t really big enough for 4 people and we were very pushed for space, meaning we had no room for half a suitcase of clothes.

Despite this it didn’t cause too much of a problem ‘because we only needed the room to sleep, the rest of our time was spent around the pool!

Ooo and also the bed linen and towels were changed every day – fabulous and so was the mini bar, offering water, sprite, Pepsi and Corona.

The pool was fantastic, there were three main parts but it was sort of all joined up with two bridges across it. There was a higher edge leading all the way along the pool where you could place your sun beds which was very cooling under the hot sun.

There was also a swim-up bar with someone always ready at your service. As before it was mainly kept very clean, except the odd occasions when there was some scum from suntan lotion around the edges.

With free unlimited food and drink it was no wonder we put on a few pounds! The food was amazing!!

You eat at the buffet (Albatros) for breakfast, lunch and dinner unless you pre-book the steak-house, Asian or Mexican restaurants beforehand. You should aim to book these before 9:00 am and the steak-house before 8:00am.

We weren’t very impressed with the Mexican, the Steak-House was nice and the Asian was delicious. Not as delicious as the buffet though, hmmm I miss that food it was scrummy!!

You can also eat at the restaurant around the pool for breakfast and lunch too, and the pizza place is scrumdiddlyumptious… yum yum!

Ooo there were also wonderful sculptures made from fruit and veg and things, made in the shapes of boats, flowers and fish etc in the Albatros restaurant.

The waiters were lovely too! I had a couple of photos with some of my favourites, they were just amazing people!

Talking about amazing people where shall I begin with the sports and entertainment team? These people are incredible, all worth their weight in gold!

Christian, Rene, Alan, Arrian, Liz, Linda, Ahmed, Victor, Lileney and all the rest were just fantastic. I could write this whole review about them!!

They were so funny and worked solidly all day long. From about 10:00 am in the morning to like 3:00 am the next morning, they were always there to brighten up your day!

Starting with stretches on the beach to volleyball, salsa dancing, beer drinking contests and darts these guys made us feel so welcome and special. They were always trying to get people up and join in, as they say ‘Nobody Knows You And Nobody Cares’! I miss them so much. Love ‘em all to bits.

We hardly spent any time at all on the beach as we were always around the pool but it was picturesque with turquoise waters and golden sand that had the ability to stay cool all year round.

The sea was safe to swim in and body board, just a shame it was sectioned off so we couldn’t walk any further down the resort.

Most of the sun beds were snatched up on the beach by 10:00 am and you probably wouldn’t be able to get two or more sun beds together by 8:30 around the pool, so reserve them quite early especially if you want some close to the pool.

There’s no need to take any of your own towels as many other people have said, they’re free and you can change them whenever you want.

As well as the entertainment at the pool and beaches being fantastic the entertainment at night in the theatre was amazing too. The sports and entertainment team put on a show each week too where they train and practise very hard producing some wonderful performances.

Whilst we were there they did a ‘Michael Jackson’ show and a ‘Dreams’ show, both incredible, they put so much effort into them. For the rest of the nights they have other people in such as Folklore dancing etc, all very good as well.

All the shows begin at 9:30 pm, with the pre-show beginning at 9:00 pm.

The sports bar is open 24hr, for drinks, internet access etc and the main lobby bar closes at midnight. The service is excellent, we couldn’t fault it except there were a couple of times where I asked for non-alcoholic versions of drinks and still ended up with alcohol in them!

Going into town is an experience with buses arriving every 3 minutes (more like every 3 seconds!) with tickets costing 6.5 pesos each. I would recommend taking the bus as it gets far too hot to walk in. There are some very big American style malls and some nick-knack type market stalls too.

The shopping facilities are quite good but as were leaving we noticed some even better shops further out. Shame we hadn’t seem these before. If wanting to buy alcohol buy it at the airport not at the resort, it’s cheaper there.

There is also a nice little shop inside of the hotel, where sweets and chocolate are very expensive but there are some nice gifts.

Trip-wise there is so much to do. We swam with dolphins at Dolphinus at Xcaret which was out of this world. What an experience, I definitely recommend this trip – it’s a must.

We also went on the captain hook adventure. This is awesome too. They take you out on a pirate boat where they make you feel very welcome, play some very funny games and just generally have a laugh. The food was quite nice and the staff aboard were fantastic here too.

After dinner there is a mock fight between the two pirate ships, such good fun and we won :) He he we had some very fun times in Cancun.

That’s about it really. Ooo except when we were coming through customs, once entering Mexico it was such a palaver, many suitcases were checked, ours included which was very inconvenient and stressful but I don’t want to dwell on the airport because this was such an amazing holiday.

It’s such a shame there’re so many other places in the world to visit but I would definitely go back to the Riu Caribe again if given the chance.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone you will have a fantastic time, hey maybe even see you there!

Other great things:

If tipped, some maids leave towel animals in your room, we tipped ours but it didn’t look like she could make them, so on the morning of our last day we acquired a couple of towel bunnies from another maid.

There is always some member of staff cleaning this or that; the hotel is spotless – very very good.

You must try the paragliding at the Aqua Caribe sport beach hut located on the beach. Me and my dad tried it and even though it was a hefty cost it was a brilliant experience (do not try if scared of heights!!)

There is a photo shop and daily a man brings either a monkey (so sweet!) an iguana or some parrots to the hotel with him, where you have free photos which are uploaded onto the computer at the Photoshop, so you can buy, but they’re fairly expensive. We got a couple with the monkey and parrots – very nice!

All in all I think I have now covered all of the points of this superb hotel and as I said above you must book the Riu Caribe, you won’t regret it!

Comments:  On arrival here we were impressed by the clean, airy lobby and the efficient check-in process.

Our room was lovely and clean with a very large bed and walk-in shower, but the best part was the fantastic view! There was a safe(no charge) and a mini-bar with Corona beer, Pepsi, lemonade and water which was replaced every 2 days.

There was also optics of spirits. (no charge). The sheets and towels were replaced every day and even the balcony doors were cleaned daily.

The food was so good here we both had put on 5lbs by the end of a week! The buffet was great at breakfast, lunch or dinner with enough choices to please everyone. The speciality restaurants you have to book on the morning of the day you want to eat there. We booked at about 8-9am and there was not any queues to do this.

The Steak restaurant was ok but a bit breezy so the food went cold too quickly, the Mexican was good and the Asian excellent. There was also a pizza place near the beach and a Sports bar which was 24hrs and had snacks too.

The Lobby bar staff were always working so hard to get everyone served quickly and enjoyed making all sorts of cocktails!

The entertainment staff were really great - they worked so hard and put on really good shows every night and had all sorts of fun and games in the daytime - this was welcome as the weather wasn't great.

They also had a free bus to the Clubs at night - you just paid the normal cover charge and got VIP access, reserved table and open bar. They had a shopping trip to the malls too with bus included both ways.

The hotel is situated between downtown and the main club/restaurant area but it is so easy to get to either by taking a bus outside the hotel for downtown or across the road for shopping malls and the other Riu hotels.

The fare is 6.5 pesos (about 30p). You can also eat and drink in the Riu Cancun which is lovely and again great food.

This hotel is really well run and kept very clean. All staff are excellent and we would have no hesitation in returning here.

Comments:  This hotel was fantastic. On arrival we were greeted with a cocktail and bags taken to our room great after an 11 hour flight, Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

We spent the 2 weeks within the hotel complex as we just wanted to relax, the pool is lovely (cold) there is aqua aerobics daily in the pool and also tequila volley ball if you don't want to play I would go far from the bar! Great fun to watch. The beach had a form of yoga going on some mornings which was lovely to start the day off. Beach ok and sea fine.

Weather was ok in November rained a few times (shower) then gone again, it was windy all the time so nice breeze and at night gets really windy and chilly - most days higher than 24 degrees.

Water sports were at the end of the beach and easy to see as beach volley ball is there.
The food was plentiful, lots of choice by the end of the 2 weeks repetitive but always nice especially the huge breakfasts as you could easily skip lunch.

Spa was great too I had a massage by the pool under the canopy (relaxing) and also there is a hut on the beach to have a massage with the sea lapping up (heaven).
I also had my nails done and the girls were lovely really friendly and all speak English.

I would say this hotel is suited to all I went with my friend we were 24 and made lots of friends older and younger some with families and some just couples. I would say this hotel didn't attract many groups i.e. girls and boys more couples and families which was great as we just wanted to relax which is what we did and I would def go back if my friend hadn't just come back feb07, we would have gone again but off to Dom Republic now with the RIU chain they have a lot to live up to!

Taxis outside the hotel always a member of staff there to get you a taxi we would rather do this than try the bus as you needed to shout very loudly for it to stop. Great shopping centres around and open late.

I swam with the dolphins at the nearest aquarium which I arranged myself (get there early otherwise you could have a long wait and once you've seen the shops you've seen them). This was amazing and fulfilled a dream of mine and I was able to purchase a DVD of it great souvenir. You could also feed the sharks but I chicken out at the last minute.

Great club called Congo Bonos (must see) the hotel arranges trips there and also shopping so all you have to do it say yes when they come round by the pool asking you which I really liked as you didn't need to worry about getting back!

What else can I say we loved it and I would def go back. The mini bar in the room was lovely the bathroom huge and always hot water, air con very cold, room looked over the pool and sea which they all do and had a lovely balcony.

TV had English channels and had some good films on at night. There is a library in the hotel so you can borrow books and leaves yours once read, I liked this and read all my books lying by the pool!
All I can say it have a fabulous time!
