thepool was freezing. threadbare towels and lots of cockroaches. could not recommend it to anyone.i have stayed in many hotels and apartments in the canaries and worldwide and i must say this place is the worst i have ever had the misfortune to stay in. the weather was good, so at least we didn't have to spend a lot of time in the place

Stayed here in July for 4 nights, found the place really nice, lovely by the pool during the day, nice and quiet and there was always a sunbed available. The first night we arrived however there were noisy teenagers in the apartment next door to us. THey had music blaring... more

The place was full of noisey teenagers taking over the pool area with ball games,also jumping in the pool at 3.30am on many occasions. No security on site to stop this. No chance of a sunbed unless you were prepared to get up early to put out a towell on one by 8.30ish.... more

Montana apartments are lovely. Myself and my boyfriend are just back from here. The apartments were lovely and very clean. They were cleaned every 2nd day. As we did a package holiday we had to pay 35euro for the air conditioing for the week. Also you have to pay 10 euro... more

We booked MontannaClub apartments not sure of what we would find but we had a wonderful stay there. They were spotlessly clean and comfortable and so quiet and safe. WE even had a key to front gate at night which made us feel more secure. The staff were so nice and helpful... more

we have had a great time in the montana club the complex and bar is spotless and the staff good fun the best night was the fun night the pig racing is hillarious and has to be seen to be believed the couple runnung the fun night make sure you have a great night hope they are there in oct thanks montana for a great week

very basic from boo_naas
Stayed in the montana in October for one week with my boyfriend. Weather was good for three of the days but overcast/rained the rest.Nice complex but extremely basic. After travelling all night ,We had to wait two hours on arrival to be allocated our room. Apartments are extremely basic and be ware of the beds..rock hard..and also the shower rail kept slipping down as the water got hotter.There are alot of extra charges e.g toaster, pay remote control( cannot operate T.V without it), microwave, safe etc.We stayed off peak so it di'nt matter that there was no air conditioning. However staff are very friendily , the rooms were cleaned daily and pool is lovely and very clean. Prices in the restraunt quite high for a breakfast so I would advise anyone to head down the strip where you get a full breakfast for less than 3 euro( the gallieon, lani's all very good). Night time entertainment in the hotel is quiet enough. Kylie nite, volcanic karoke and Elvis night. Route 66 and th Tropical are the best disco bars while the old town has some lovely restraunts and irsih pubs.All in all a nice holiday but would of been better if had good nigths's sleep and the weather a bit better!
great apartments from maglimerick
the montana club apartments are excellent. they are about a 7 minute walk to the beach down a slight slope. i dont know how good the evening entertainment is as i didnt stay around for it any night. they do have a lot of hidden costs eg u have to pay for toasters, air conditioning ect. i would recommend these apartments to anyone but also the pools are quiet deep. had a great holiday will be returning. mag

brill holiday. even in sept the place was still busy. montana apt was really nice. great location. clean place, friendly staff. good value for money. go to western night and to seany's comedy nite on the strip.
Good Clean Apartments from sharc84
Just returned from a week in the Montana Club Apartments in Puerto Del Carmen. We went with Falcon or First Choice. We usually go with Budget Travel but found these apartments to be better than any we have been in with Budget Travel. They are well maintained. We had a kitchen come dining come living room which was very spacious with a TV. The balcony overlooked other apartments but this didn't bother us. Bathroom and bedroom were also clean and spacious. The apartments have 2 pools and were very relaxing. Sun loungers were never full and people are not allowed to reserve them with towels. We ate lunch in the restaurant one day but it was very expensive for what we got. I would not have eaten another meal there as there are so many nicer places to go particularly in the old town. There was evening entertainment but we didn't stay to watch any so I can't comment on it. Elvis and Kylie tribute bands were there 2 of the nights. The apartments are a 7/8 mins walk to the strip in Puerto Del Carmen. A taxi is only €3 into the old town where there are some lovely restaurants and a nice harbour. There is a modern shopping centre at the top of the hill also. I really enjoyed my week in Lanzarote - it was very relaxing.
Good Location from Hawk0476
Well located for all amenities and only 10 mins from the beach you cannot fault the location of the Montanna. We chose this based on this, as we know the town well. The rooms are basic but clean ( except from some unwelcome cockroaches that appeared occasionally ) . The pool areas are fine but we did not use a great deal as we considered the nearby beach a better option. As a previous reviewer stated the restaurant was closed while we were there so cannot comment on this. There is a pool bar where basic fast food/ snacks are available. One complaint here there seem to be constant noise coming from the large TV in this bar even when the only people there were the staff. The entertainment provide in this area on an occasional basis seem to be terrible and only served one purpose and that was to annoy people whose apartments was unfortunate to be located close by. Why this very low end entertainment was felt needed I am not quite sure. In conclusion good location , basic standard accommodation . One suggestion hire a car for a couple of days and see the whole of the Island its great.

I have just returned from 2 weeks in the Montana Apartments which I really enjoyed, I went with my husband and my son 16yrs and his friend 17years. I found the apartments very relaxing, very clean, the staff very friendly and anxious to please you.There was entertainment 3 nights which was very good, and it was a very good location.I had read alot of bad reviews before we went and was worried, but thankfully everything was fine,they are rated as 3 star and that is what they were.

I went to Montana with my husband and 2 children. We had an excellent holiday. We go abroad every year but this was the first time both my children met up with children their own age and both enjoyed themselves immensely. We are booking again this year along with a family we met there. Our rooms were clean and the apartments were close to all amenities. We enjoyed the entertainment most nights in Montana. I hope this year will be as good - looking forward to July.
Good, but not Great from Nile-Queen
The appartments were okay, not brilliant, clean, but no atmosphere, evening entertainment was not watchable due to children running riot all over the stage as the performers were trying to work. The staff were friendly, but restaurant was not open at all for food, so unable to judge. As stated before Good but not Great, will not go back.

Im giving the Montana apartments a great review. Im 15 years old and would strongly recommend these apartments to families. they are quiet, well maintained and are fantastic for the eldery as there are very few steps, only two floors and the customer service is fantastic. the restaurant under the complex is very good and the amenities are good. i thoroughly enjoyed my stay. so much so my family and i are going back this summer.
Clean apartments, all with pool view balcony or terrace from ReviewAdvisor
We stayed at the Montana 7th - 14th October 2004. The apartment block is just two floors high with every apartment having a balcony or terrace overlooking one of the two pools. The apartments are clean and large with tv, fridge, 2 ring hob and safe. You do have to pay a charge (and deposit) for the safe and tv remote. At that time of year the apartments were not busy, and there were plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Bad points - the pools are not heated and are a cold especially for young children. The floor around the pool area is smooth tiles making it extremely slippy when wet. We noticed a few adults and children falling over during the week we were there. We also found a few cockroaches in our bathroom. The location of the Montana is good, a 5 minute stroll to the main road and a further 5 mins to the first beach. Overall its good 2 star accomodation. Clean and well looked after.
