I stayed at the Montana club for 1 week, I went with three other friends all students.
For a student this place is great fun, it was in an ideal location jus a few minutes walk from the beach, the pool was great fun. All the other families staying there were great fun they came from Ireland, Scotland and from the north of England everyone was so friendly. The night life is fantastic especially in Paradise where got loads of free t-shirts in memory of our trip to Lanzarote. Caesars was great the bar-ladies there are 10/10. Hippodrome was my favourite.
Only bad thing I would say music was good but not great quite repetitive. Also went on a Catamaran that was great fun, getting a chance to have a quick go on a jet ski food was nice on the trip too.

Just got back from Lanzarote, would not go back to Montana Apartments, although the room was clean the beds were very uncomfortable, as we are a family of 4, two adults and children aged 13 & 9 they had the bedroom the wife and I had the put me up bed and the sofa, not the best !!!! We were on half board, the food was poor in presentation and choice if you were late they ran out, although it did improve the second week as the chef was changed. Most people were self-catering, the better option as restaurants are plentiful.
The pool was clean but deep 2.2 metres the photo in the brochure is very clever as both pools are identical, sun beds are provided but that was all, mattresses and umbrellas were extra. Entertainment consisted of Mon Elvis tribute, Tues Karaoke, Wed Golden Oldies, Fri Abba revival, Sat Frankie female vocalist, Sun Rat pack tribute to Frank Sinatra but don’t worry if you go for 2 weeks and miss a show!! Because it's all repeated the next week!! Children’s entertainment consists of 2 pool tables and a parrot show. Here is a list of extra’s all prices are in Euro and per week, parasol & base is 15, cushion for sun bed 12, fan 15, toaster 9, microwave 30, hair dryer 9, sandwich maker 15, this list is not all items you can hire DVD player, play stations etc if you want to watch TV you have to give a 10 Euro deposit for the remote, the safe costs 28 for 2 weeks + a 10 Euro deposit
The place can be noisy at night as the entertainment finishes at 12.30pm ish and the bar 01.30 ish, then if like us you are on the wrong side of the complex the bin men wake you up at 05.30 on the dot, although you do get to see the mountains on that side, and we were lucky to be on the second level which caught the breeze.
We went on the Blue Delphin trip which was very nice but we didn’t get to see any Dolphins, the Rancho Texas is a very nice park for children with good shows ie parrots, wild birds, alligators, we also went back at night for the country & western night which was very well organised and cost 3 Euros each way by taxi or book with the rep.

I stayed here for one week with my two teenage daughters and a friend.
Rooms - although basic were clean. Beds were comfortable. Complex quite compact so you felt "safe"! All staff that we came into contact with were friendly - even those who could not speak English!! Rep (Glynn) was helpful and friendly.
Nightlife in town centre was excellent - you MUST go to Charlie’s Bar in the Atlantico Centre opposite the beach. Great bands there every night - especially the one that Charlie himself fronts! They are from Dublin and play a great range of music - great craic! The "hounds" will pester you to go to their bars but if you say "I’m going to Charlie’s, they just say "ok"!!!! Does that say it!!?
Taxis really cheap although some drivers not that friendly!! We enjoyed the holiday so much we are going back in August. I just think that sometimes people just feel they have to complain about something. Great holiday and worth going back to - especially on this budget!
Obviously if I could afford it I would be staying at a 5* hotel but on my financial restrictions at present Montana Club is a very good choice.

Although I would go back to Lanzarote I would not go back to these apartments. The pool and pool area were good, although loungers were not fully equipped i.e. cushions which had to be hired from the apartments reception.
Likewise umbrellas also had to be hired, the bar and staff were negative and unfriendly. I asked for a cup of coffee one afternoon at the bar and was told it was too late in the day (this was 2.O.Clock in the afternoon).
The apartments themselves were ill equipped and the beds not very comfortable. We had cockroaches in our apartment. The holiday rep. was not very friendly or helpful. There was no entertainment at all on the complex. One night on returning to our apartment we were accosted by a security guard and escorted to our rooms this was at the late hour of 11.45p.m. and as we had a young child with us she was distressed at this.

When we arrived, Lanzarote was experiencing hot winds from the Sahara and because the apartments had no air conditioning, sleeping was impossible.
Nights were just as hot as days. Lanzarote does not have much air conditioning, it was difficult to find somewhere cool enough to eat in comfort.
Entertainment was not very good and there was no inside lounge area, it was outdoors. Montana Restaurant prices very expensive if on self catering, 19 euros per adult. Family meal in a pub only 30 euros.
Pool was cleaned every morning ,maid service was excellent and happy hour at 5.30pm was good. The Barge Inn along the front to the right, has good entertainment. Crepe stalls along the front are tempting cost from 2 euros. The Travellers Inn next to MacDonald’s was good and check out Churchill’s, the barman is hilarious.
Overall not a bad holiday but wouldn’t go back, once seen, been there, worn the t-shirt.

An excellent apartment block with good quality rooms, lovely pools and a friendly bar. It is located in an excellent location- five minutes walk from the main seafront strip but secluded enough to remain quiet.
The town is lively but not wild- great families, couples and young groups. The beach is lovely, and although there are a few too many Lanis restaurants there is a wide selection of bars and things to do in the town.
The tour of the volcanic part of the island in the national park is also very scenic and interesting.

The resort was very good the entertainment around the bars was good, weather very good, but the Montana club was very poor. We had no view only over waste bit of land, there was stuff on the floor of the apartment when we moved in and it was still there when we left it had not been swept.
We had cockroaches in the room every day, they changed the bedding twice and they were all marked when they put them on, we complained but nothing done, the entertainment had been cancelled three nights on the run, around by the sun loungers there was ants there every day, do not waste your money on these apartments the resort is good but don’t go to the Montana club.
