I have just returned home after a week at the concord with my family, we had a great time the hotel is spotless the food is good with lots of choice. The main pool was lovely and we also had a small pool out side our room, but you had to get up at about six thirty to get a sun bed. I was a bit disappointed with the all inclusive which ended at 11pm If you did not have your lunch before 3 then you have to pay for it, the all inclusive starts again at 7 for your evening meal. Some evenings there was a beach party which started at 11pm which meant that you had to buy your own drinks which were not cheap. I was told by first choice that it was a family hotel but I found this not to be the case my two sons 14 and 10 and my grand daughter 8 were part of a handful of children with nothing much for them to do. We went across to the sport side which was no way as nice as the main part.
The staff were nice and friendly.
The weather was very hot day and night.
And thankfully no stomach upsets.

We arrived back from Egypt last week.
After reading reviews on this hotel I was quite worried about the hotel, mainly the food but I had nothing to worry about.
The rooms were spacious, well air conditioned and very clean.
A wide variety of food was available at the main restaurant and was generally very good.
The pool bar was great, the staff are great fun and very attentive, the food served at lunchtime was basic but tasty.
The italian restaurant was nice for a change at lunchtime with a good view of the sea.
The animation team kept us entertained during the day and performed some good shows at night.
The evening entertainment was not that great but not offensive.
Overall I was very impressed with the hotel and I can't wait to go back.

I was skeptical about going after reading some of the reviews especially regarding the food and upset stomaches, but overall I had a really nice holiday.
The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were friendly, the food was nice with a different choice of places to eat throughout the day although the pool bar you order your food so it didn't really come across as all inclusive. The Italian is free at lunch but you have to pay for food in the evening but you get a discount.
The evening entertainment was very bad, Na'ama Bay was ok but everyone is trying to sell you something which becomes annoying after a while. Quad biking was really good, they take you through the desert, I would reccommend this trip.
The weather was amazing, very hot. I would advise to drink as much fluids as you can throughout the day, and take drinks back to your room from the pool bars if you can as bottled water is only provided the 1st day you arrive.
I would not reccommend this hotel for families as there was not much for children to do. It said they have a kids club but I didn't see anything going on. Maybe because I went out of season.

After returning from a brilliant two weeks at Concorde I feel compelled to write this review after reading previous negative reviews I was a bit anxious about what to expect.
We were staying in the sports side which from the outside doesn't look as good as the main don't let this put you off.
I'll start with the few bad points number 1 don't evan bother with the night time entertainment all I can say is it's the worst I have ever seen we resorted to going Narma Bay every other night to get away from it otherwise we would have been in bed by 10pm every night (it's no better on the main side) The drink selection on the AI is a bit of a let down me and my partner could only drink the beer, you can only have local spirits and the vodka is awful! or you can pay £6.90 for a smirnoff.
The AI is only on until 11pm then you have to pay.
You can still use all the facilities over at the main side but we found the sports side far better a lot quieter and never a problem getting a sun bed round the pool. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day with fresh towels and bedding. The air con in the rooms is also excellent.
The food is nice always warm and well presented, excellent cake choice for after!
One thing you do have to do is pay for the ice cream at night.
At the busy times they can be a bit slow on the waiter service for drinks we found going down later for dinner was the best option.
We were not ill at all in the whole two weeks. The reason people get ill is not drinking enough water and over doing the sun as it gets very HOT!
Make sure you take hand gel and use it all the time when using the money or toilet and you will be fine.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and don't expect tips all the time. We found that there English isn't very good and we did have a bit of a language barrier.
Narma Bay is ok nothing special a bit dirty. The taxi's are an experience! make sure you set a price before you get in between £4 and £6.The hotel has a free bus service but this gets full very quick.
A must do trip if you do no others is Tiran Island ths snorkelling reefs and fish are truly amazing.
We travelled with Thomas Cook and had no problems from start to finish the rep was on site most days and very helpful.
one last thing The Russian's! we found them to be rude at times especially to the staff.
Would I go back No but only due to the lack of things to do at night.

The hotel was amzing, the staff couldnt be more helpful. As for the evening entertainment - there wasnt any. what a load of rubbish. The all inclusive was a bit of a joke finishing at 11pm and that only included wine and beer and fizzy drinks. Drinks were very expensive - 4 drinks in Normandy 2 cost 27 sterling.
We were ill but put that down to change in diet - not from the actual food provided by the hotel. We would go back if they got rid of the animation team who do absolutely nothing apart from the same boring damce routine 3 nights a week but in different costumes.
Thanks to all of the fantastic waiters and staff who made are holiday lots of fun not the entertainment team

Me and my boyfriend returned from concorde yesterday and just to set the record straight their is absolutely nothing to complain about. I read alot of these reviews before going and to be honest i was a little bit anxious as to what to expect because of so many bad ones. I want to say to you all that it was the best holiday i have EVER been on, really good. Food was lovely, room immaculate and big, pools amazing, snorkling amazing, just everything was fantastic. The hotel was spotless everyday and the hotel staff were always happy to help you. The bar staff especially who love the english, especially Alaa, what a sweetheart! If you love the sun, sand and sea this is the place to go. Was a fantastic holiday and everything we wanted. Naama Bay is only a taxi ride away costing around a fiver in english money, we went one night but the hotel has everything you could ask for. We were staying at the main hotel and went to the sport for ice skating and the water slide, which also was spotless. I honestly do not know what some people on here have been moaning about, pathetic. Could not fault one thing with this hotel or surroundings. You definatly get what you pay for and this is definatly a 5* hotel. Fantastic holiday. We are booking to go back next year and i just wish i was back their now instead of in sunny england! One warning i would say is that it is very hot this time of year and some days it hit 50 at 10.30am!!! Definatly the place to go if you want a tan!!!

I read some comments before i went away and to be honest it put me off a bit. but since i have been to the hotel, all i can say is that it is typical of the english people to find the slightest thing to moan about.
me and my gf stayed in the main part of the hotel. i could fault nothing of the hotel apart from the entertainment but that did not bother us because we sat on the piano bar balcony and talked and laughed all night with the nice view of the pool and the music in the background. the staff were extremly friendly, willing to do anything for you. the rooms were very clean, there was a great variety of food, for which i can say was cooked well. the only reason for bad stomich is if you don't drink enough water as it gets very hot in the day. also the pools were very nice, we enjoyed the smaller pools as they were a bit quieter. but it was nice to swim up for a drink or a burger at the pool side bar at the main pool.
thomas cook reps were helpful and helped us choose the right trips for us.
in all a perfect holiday and for all the other holiday guests i spoke to, it was the same for them.
We have already booked up for december. can not wait as i know i am going to a great hotel where i will be looked after by the friendly staff.

Stayed with four children in a family suite, which I would highly recommend, ask for two beds in the lounge..which was huge. Myself and partner were ill for the first few days, but went to the doctors and had no problems after that.
As others have said the main hotel is far prettier and 'nicer' than the Sport.... you need to be by the sea in 40 plus temp !
Food was good but after a few days you do get bored, and it can be a bit of a scrum finding a table and getting drinks ordered at peak times.
Do go out and about, Old Sharm was good and Naama bay,but be prepared for a fair bit of hassle.
Evening entertainment is not great, there was a kids club which our three younger enjoyed, but not much good for 12 and up.
Did a lot of water sports and had a great time,it may not be a five star as we expect in England, but it is a good middle of the road hotel, with very friendly staff.
You do need two weeks to really relax and get to the best out of Egypt
Do take plenty of suncream we got through a bottle a day,and it is expensive !!

A really dissapointing holiday. How can they say that it is all inclusive when you have to pay for all of your food and drinks after 11.00pm. Spirits and any alcohol other than beer or wine are not included and are very high in price. The rooms are wonderful but there is no kettle for your first drink of the day, that is an payable extra. The food hall is like a navvy canteen and we were told that there were no children under the age of 12 staying there, Poppycock!! If you are wanting a second honeymoon and leaving your kids at home then this is not the place to be. Oh and to top it off, my sore bottom did not get better until 10 days after I returned home and the sample at the doctors confirmed food poisoning. We will never go again.

well just arrived back from Concorde sport today and what a disappointment. wen we arrived we expected to be staying in concorde main but we ended up in the sport which was ok tidy and most of the staff are friendly, except the thomas cook reps- absolutely useless people! the told us there was lots of entertainment and lots to do but by the 4th nite we where sleeping by 10.30 because the singers wer terrible and sang the same songs nite after nite. then they told us the trips wer excellent,we went to tarian island on a boat was ok,quad biking not good, and now the good bit we went to arabian nights everything was goin ok but i felt faint and as im an ashtmatic my chest was quite sore so my girlfriend asked could i go sit in the bus and a rep said no because it costed to much to keep the bus running with aircon on JOKE, it took me 2 faint beside the toilets and it took to english girls to notify reps about me before any one done anything obv they were more worried about there arabian nite than my health and saftey..
to top things off on our final day we wer due to leave our hotel between 14.00 & 14.30 but as the bus arrived to collect us, the rep informed us that we had actually been delayed by 4hours. As we had to be checked out by 12.00, our all inclusive finshed at 15.00 & we had little money left, we asked the rep to find out if we cud have atleast access to water without paying.. but she did nothing for us! We had to phone to the emergency number to get threw to the head office & they were not willing to help either! They wouldn't even give a girl at 7months pregnant access to water - never mind food! They said that as a goodwill gesture they would give us 1 bottle of water per person! How was that going to keep us going!?
We then had to phone the UK Head office.. They were abit more helpful & then informed us that we would actually be another 4hours delayed & our flight would not be departing the airport untill 12.25am, but the reps still insisted that our flight was at 9pm ! They didn't have a bloody clue and just kept making up excuses after excuses! We were told that we would get a food voucher equivalent to £10 per person for food in the airport, but after standing arguing with the airport staff (because Thomas Cook Reps had cleared off) we got nowhere & had to pay for all our food!!
A couple of good points about the hotel is that the staff that worked around the pool & pool bar staff wer excellent! the service was fast, they would find you sunbeds ( if you haven't got them already) and carry your towels over and put your umbrellas up for you. Ahmed & Ishmael two of the best guys at the pool! So friendly & you could have a laugh with them!
Overall we had read a few reviews before we headed away & thought we would still go away with an open mind...But that soon was changed! Very disappointing and very unsatisfying! I will never fly with Thomas Cook again! COMPLETE SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR CRAP ALL AND DISAPPEAR WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG! WILL NEVER BE BACK TO CONCORDE!

We have just returned and felt compelled to give an unbiased report on the Concorde El Salam. We stayed at the Sport side and it was fantastic. Animation team all very friendly especially Charlotte, Luciano< Nicki and Katie boundless energy and great dancers.
We were a family of 4 with 2 grown up children aged 18 and 16. Nama Bay was everything you could want from a large resort
Hotel nightclub was very good particularly enjoyed the Monday night beach party.
Hotel was spotless, the staff never stoped cleaning, sometimes well into the night.
Pool great, snorkelling fantastic, entertainment ranged from accebtible to very entertaining. Made some nice friends
Its a pity the all inclusive stoped at 23.00 as the disco was opening. Travelled with First Choice, lucky to have an upgraded flight on the way out, not so lucky on the way back. no leg room and no entertainment. Sort your act out First choice.
