We went to this place to get married. All I can say is that it was the most fantastic 2 weeks I have ever had.
The staff were brilliant helpful and friendly.
The Food was excellent
The rooms were comfortable not that you spent much time in them.
All in all a truly memorable time was had by me and my new wife.
The entertainment staff were very good as well and made the whole experience of our wedding wonderful.
The Thomas Cook signatures rep was the most helpful rep I have met.
Also a big thank you to the staff at the scuba shop for helping with a memorable dive in the pool!!!

Brilliant place, excellent accommodation cleaned to a very high standard every day. The cleaner used to decorate our massive bed with towels folded into swans and flower petals which was very romantic.
The food in all of the restaurants was very good plenty of variety and always well presented. The bar service was quick and friendly and although the beers were small I was able to have 2 at a time without any questions. and we sampled all the local cocktails. The beach/jetty bar was my favourite for a nice drink late in the afternoon, always a good atmosphere there.
The daytime entertainment was sometimes a bit loud for me but there was always the quiet pool and the beach. The evening entertainment was varied, and not always to my taste, I think the sound system could have been better but most people seemed to enjoy it.

Well if you don't read any other comment about club Caribbean, you don't need to because I can sum this place up in one word "EXCELLENT".
Food EXCELLENT

What more can I say? To all who like me thought that Jamaica is not a place they had ever fancied.....believe me book it and find out for yourself you will not want to leave seriously I nearly broke down when we took off!!!
The only downside I wouldn't go with Thomson again the worst service i have had yet chartered and scheduled!!

It was the best holiday I have ever been on!
So good we have booked to go back next year, the week after we came home.
The staff were fantastic THE BEST!!!!!!
Food was tasty and you were able to eat almost whenever you wanted and as much as you wanted.
The drinks were just how I liked them.
All I can do is praise the people there and say that Jamaica is so full of things to do and see, I have fallen in love with the place :o) <br>
It was the best holiday I have ever been on!

Used this resort to get married, everything was perfect. Really beautiful resort friendly staff, not too sure about the food combinations, but everything else was perfect.

Entertainment in the resort was quite good with some good evening shows and plenty of activities to participate in during the day.

Outside of the resort there is not much to do, you need to go on planned excursions to see anything of interest.

First visit to Jamaica and was totally impressed by the whole experience, the hotel is fantastic, everything was perfect, the rooms were spotless everyday and loads of clean towels. the main pool & bar area was always busy and the entertainment team works like mad to keep everybody happy. If you wanted a quiet moment there was a small adult only pool with a guy serving ice cold drinks from a cart, or there is a brilliant bar on a timber jetty with swings all the way round.
The food and drink was excellent and always plentiful, there was never any long waiting and they never questioned the quantities being consumed.
In total all in all this resort is one of the best I have visited and would recommend it to everyone

What a fantastic place! The food was excellent, which was one thing I worried about when we booked all inclusive – ‘what if the food is awful, we are stuck there for 2 weeks!’
The hotel staff could not do enough for us, including the housekeeper who left towels folded in the shape of swans on our bed, along with fresh, hand picked flowers.
This was the perfect honeymoon location, just like paradise.
I would recommend it to anybody.
Just one thing though, in true Jamaican style (no hurry for anything), the transfer time from the hotel is actually nearer 2 hours, and not an hour like the one the brochure stated.

A great hotel, with great food and very friendly staff.

The holiday was seriously let down by a nightmare journey from the airport in transport provided by Virgin holidays. The bus was overcrowded (people sitting on the floor) and driving dangerously fast.

The driver did not know where our hotel was and drove past it to next resort 40 minutes away! He then unloaded one of my cases by mistake and left it at the wrong resort (I’m amazed I ever saw it again).

After the driver 'phoning a friend' we arrived at our hotel 1.5 hours late and minus a suitcase. The response from Virgin holidays was, well after submitting a complaint 7 weeks ago I have not heard a thing. Very poor customer service!

Me and my boyfriend have just come back from the best holiday I have had to date!
This place is gorgeous - just like paradise. So much to say but where do I start?!
The people are so friendly and helpful. Just make sure you have some small notes on you as it is expected of you to tip for every service - no matter how small.
The journey to Runaway Bay from the airport is quite a long one due to bad roads (which they are in the middle of working on) but once you arrive you will forget all about your numb bum! Porters were waiting for us to get off the bus to help us with our luggage and give us a welcoming cold drink - delicious! Check in was quick and painless. Very organised. Porter took our bags to our room and then we went back later to organise the safety deposit box.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Shower was very powerful and always had hot water. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday and our cleaner left swans on our bed made with towels and flowers which was lovely and romantic. You receive a fresh bottle of water everyday or when you need one. A couple of days in to our holiday a porter came round and put a fridge in our room also which was a great help. Towels were also changed everyday. We were in the courtyard rooms which were very nice but the sea view cottages look amazing so I think when we go back we might try and book one of these.
You receive a card for your beach towel when you check in. You hand this over to get your first towel, you can then change your towel whenever necessary and at the end of your holiday when you hand back your towel you get the card back which you need to hand in a check out so make sure you do not lose the towels or your card.
Food is good. There is the main buffet restaurant, Nyamings Restaurant and Jasmine Delta Restaurant. The Jasmine is at the other end of the beach from the main pool and opens during the day as a snack bar serving pizzas, burgers and jerk chicken. The Jasmine also opens at night on alternative nights with Nyamings. You need to make reservations in the morning for dinner. There are two sittings 6.30 and 8.30. We never went to The Jasmine for dinner but it was great for during the day. We went to Nyamings every night it was open and tried nearly everything on the menu and everything was delicious.
They serve you soup for starter then you can help yourself at the salad bar and then you get your main course and a choice of dessert. The buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and also late evening snack. There is plenty choice of salad, fruit, bread, rolls and desserts. Hot meals varied depending on the theme each night and some are better than others. Their Jerk Chicken and Pork are delicious. I sometimes felt there could have been more choice of hot meals though and sometimes wish it was kept a bit hotter. This is the only reason I gave a 8/10.
There are two pools. An adult only one which is further away from the beach and is great for anyone looking for a little more quiet time. The main pool is where all the action happens during the day. This is right next to the beach, buffet restaurant, main stage and main bar so everything is where you need it. This is where all the games take place during the day so this is where you need to be if you want to join in on the fun.
The pools and beach are always kept clean. The beach is lovely although you need to watch when you are walking in to the water as some parts are a bit rocky. You can always were water shoes though or go in where the water sports take place as it seems to be a bit less rocky here. The water can be very clear but sometimes when the water is a bit rougher it is not as clear.
There is quite a lot of water sports to keep you amused:- pedalos, kayaks, windsurfing, snorkeling, glass bottom boat and you can also arrange to get a scuba diving lesson which takes place in the pool.
There are three bars, the main one which is next to pool and stage, one in the disco and the other one is half way along the beach - jetty swing bar. This had to be my favourite during the day. Sitting on the swing enjoying a red stripe beer! Oh those were the days. The main bar had a good selection of drinks and they were more than happy to make any cocktail. The rum is very, very strong though so beware!! The only thing is you get your drink in a very small cup but you can buy larger cups in the gift shop. Talking of the gift shop - this is very handy - it has everything you might need for the duration of your holiday including gifts & postcards to send home. There is also a supermarket just outside of the complex where you might find crisps and other snacks a bit cheaper.
Entertainment is really good. There is a band that plays while you eat every night then there is a different band with a singer that comes on until about 9.30 then the show time starts. This varies from contests that involve the audience and shows including the Royal Decameron dancers. Now these people know how to move. After the show time the disco opens at 11 til 2pm so this is the place to boogie!
We went on a few trips while we were there:- Rafting down the Rio Grande which is gorgeous and so relaxing; Swimming with dolphins - what an amazing experience and Dunns River Falls. We went on the cruise first, did some snorkeling then climbed the falls - it is amazing - a must see - just be prepared to climb. If you are not able to climb you can always walk up the side of the falls though so you don't need to miss out. We did want to go on the Bob Marley Kingston tour but unfortunately this got cancelled due to not enough people being booked on that day.
Although we were disappointed it just gave us another excuse why to return here. Not that we needed an excuse. This place is gorgeous, lovely weather, good food & drink, friendly people and the best place to relax and have fun. Looking forward to going back sometime soon.
