Beautiful wood panelling, antique furniture, Murano glass and Turkish carpets add to the atmosphere of the lounge designed with separate areas around an open fireplace. A feature of the hotel is the spacious Spa Centre including free sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool, Roman bath, Kneipp bath and essential oils shower. There is a local charge for other beauty treatments such as massages, solarium and speciality baths. Wine tastings are held occasionally in the authentic wine cellar. " Very pleasant hotel, well staffed and... "

Very pleasant hotel, well staffed and a friendly atmosphere, fine for families but no specific child facilities other than an early sitting for evening meals. Fairly quiet, especially in the evenings - but we liked that. Rooms and bathrooms are well sized (we had a 1 yr old baby, just crawling) and didn't feel cramped. Heating was viciously hot though and traffic noise (we were at the front) from the road was a nuisance with windows open. No late night revellers - it's not that sort of resort - but a nicely chilled-out atmosphere. Simple range of bars and basic restaurants, mainly Italian customers, especially at week-ends. 5-8 mins walk to the lifts, along the main street, no problem even with buggy. Good availability of pharmacy/baby items - and Ski-2 team would no doubt find anything you were missing anyway.

Hotel breakfast was a simple buffet, same each day, which got v boring by mid-week. Evening meals were a choice of 3 for each course; never a bad meal but nothing memorable either; all of which made the v good good wine a surprise (and relief!). Best food was found at the nearby Breithorn Brassiere (and take an amazing trip with Ski-2 at night to the mountain restaurant - an unbelievable experience for the journey, the setting and the food).

Ski-2 are exceptionally good, and have none of the characteristics that usually afflict British ski operators. Originally, we chose them only because we needed their crèche (no local options) but the quality of the (British) staff justified any premium on their pricing.

" We stayed at this hotel booked... "

We stayed at this hotel booked through Ski2. It was a perfect skiing hotel and just a short walk to the bottom of the lift.

Ski2 looked after our daughter in their own nursery just next to the hotel which was excellent.

Our bedroom was very nice with a mezzanine level on which our children slept. I would highly recommend this hotel.
