Silveralp Hotel

This was the first time we had been to Val Thorens. These apartments were very basic, were not clean and in desperate need of repair.
Apartments were inspected upon our departure; it was like an army inspection.
I wish they had inspected the apartment before we arrived as we were very disappointed to find the dishes had been put in the cupboard wet.
The previous occupants has obviously emptied the dishwasher before it had completed its cycle as it was still full of water.
Guests are expected to clean apartments before they leave, there does not appear to be any cleaners who then come in and give the apartments a final clean ready for the next guests arriving.
However they were situated at the quiet end of the resort with reasonably easy access to the Piste, but are not ski in ski out. I would not recommend these for a family wanting a comfortable holiday.
Crystal were not helpful in anyway and we never met out rep during the week we were there.
