I flew out to Kavos with a few of my friends as an 'end of year holiday' type thing when we were 18 and i can easily say that Lemon Grove was by far the best accomodation out there. I have to admit that i wasn't expecting much, just a clean bed to put me up for 7 nights, but i was so pleasantly surprised to find that Lemon Grove exceeded my expectations.
As soon as we arrived, staff were so welcoming and friendly (often they provided us with free ozou shots before heading out that evening, and extra bonus!) We were shown immediately to our rooms, which were clean, spacious and air conditioned, although that cost €5 for air con.
Every evening spent in Kavos was fantastic and memorable and our stay in this hotel just made the holiday as amazing as it could have been!
The hotel is situated in the perfect place, right next to the strip! (i recommend starting your evening at NET bar, near the hotel!) There is a small but sufficient beach leading off from the pool area with many fun activities. My friends and i hired out pedlows for three hours and just spent the day sunbathing on the back!
I would absolutely reccommend Lemon Grove to anyonelooking for a young and fun holiday!

If you want somewhere nice to eat ( Kinda Expensive but sooooo worth it) is The Drunken Squid.. Its half mexican , half chinese !
Other than that you can get a TWO EURO full english from Big Max's Diner which is pretty dam good!
DONT go to Pennys kitchen...wait an hour for your food and then pay LOADDDDSS more than what its worth!!
Best Bars... Ezee Bar and Atlantis

just back from the lemon grove in kavos, simpley a great hotel, good food at a fair price too, rooms are kept clean the complex was clean and the staff very helpfull and always friendly, great location for hitting the night life,no complaint,s at all,i would recomend anyone to stay at lemon grove and give it 10 out of 10,kavos its self is god aswell plenty to do and see, only problem we had was with the perv/smelly greek from the fancy dress shop which was just infront of the lemon grove, take my advise and bring your own fancy dress because he is well dear and if you gto into the shop and dont buy anything then expect to get abuse from him and the girls watch out because he like to cop a feel but dont let him put you off visiting kavos, its a great place and good fun. andy.

stayed at the lemon grove for 2 weeks and i have to say that looking around kavos at some other hotels this was by far the best place to be.great staff, clean rooms, great food and service, fantastic location and the views from here are breath taking, you can see right across to mainland greece and at night time many boats pass making the view at night time as good as the day.
forget walking distance to the beach because the lemon grove is on the beach, which was clean and kept that way by the staff working for the hotel.the pool is always clean and also great fun.
the grounds in the hotel are well kept and always tidy and clean, there is also 24 hour security which is always a good thing to see.
everything you need is here and i no that should i ever decide to return to kavos the lemon grove would be my first choice.

A group of us flew from belfast to kavos on the 25th of aug for a week.. We all were impressed by the location as it was right at the start of the main bar strip and literally a 30 second walk to the beach.. The Place was lovly and had really nice staff who were really helpful.. the beach was a bit small but opens up along the beach altho where the lemon grove is its the cleanest section of the beach.. The water was shallow about 100 meters in so you could just go out and sit and itll come up to your midrift.. Go to pennys kitchen for the greatest food youll prob taste on the strip.. Only a few downsides Drink in the bars is expensive and rubbish, better getting drunk before u go out..Take quite alot of insect re-pellent as midges eat you alive... other than that we had a brilliant time,, foam parties are a must..

when we read the reviews we didnt really know what to expect but to be fair the brouchure does the hotel no justice. hotel was lovely and clean the staff were lovely and friendly. yer the rooms were basic but what does that matter its not like ya living in the rooms. shower is a nightmare but its funny especially when the foam starts coming back up the drain in the middle of the floor. it didnt smell as bad a every 1 made out but the have a crap sewage system compared to uk. your right on the beach as well which was great. yer u did pay 2 euros for the sunbeds but never mind u dnt have to sit on them. nightlife is brilliant. couldnt fault the holiday at all. beware you do get bitten!! would go back again loved it and didnt want to come home. food nice bit gutted we were b n b and only got toast and oj but food reasonable price. you have to go to tkds- lovely australian restuarnt. and mac d dnt do breakfast so not point walking along the strip it aint open!!

What a bizzare expereince this was.
On first instance, the self catering room seemed pleasant although after a couple of days the cracks started to show. Catering was made difficult by the lack of cutlery, plates etc - 1 bowl and 6 knifes is no good for two people! The beds are also very short and head boards at either end mean that it you are over 6 foot - you have no chance of a decent sleep. Worse of all though is teh bathroom, the toilet paper bin wasnt collected for 4 days and thus the place stank. It was horrid.
Signs on the door ask you to 'respct' neighbours late at night, but i heard little evidence of this being enforced - do i really want to heat 'American Boy' on loop every night at 4 am??!?!
Still this was better than the Groves own music and i am still recoving from my shock of being workn at 10 am on Monday by the sound sof Robbie Williams coming from pool side...
Sort it out.

Overall the apartments were good, great location being so close to the beach and the main nightlife. Rooms were basic but tidy, downside was the shower in the bathroom, absolute nightmare to wash your hair and sometimes the water was cold instead of hot. Theres no shower curtain so the bathroom gets flooded aswell. Id also say pack your own toilet rolls as the cleaners only give you 1 at a time.
Also there are plenty of sunloungers round the pool but you have to pay 2 euros per day for one which i think is disgusting, you have to pay for the air conditioning aswell, we didnt bother but some nights the heat in the apartment was unbearable.
The staff were very nice and friendly, no complaints there. I would say our apartments were one of the best in the resort.

Just got back and had an amazing time!! The hotel was clean and the staff were really friednly. Hotel is in an ideal location. Is at the very end of the strip and close enough to all the night life but far away enough so you don't hear the music if you decide to go home early.
Have to pay for sunbeds, only 2 euros a day and rooms pretty basic. Campared to other hotel rooms I saw they were good. Good view from balconys and rooms nice when you have air condidtion.
Would def recommend Kavos and stayin here.

its true the hotel is right next to the beach but it was not beautiful at all! there was a constant smell of sewage, and the beach was awful and dirty. the rooms were adequate however we did have to pay 40 euros for the air con because it was sooo hot at night. you have to pay for 2 euros for the sunbeds as well, the food at hotel is not bad but not anything to shout about. overall the hotel was okay but you have to get use to the smell of sewage and the showers not having a shower curtain!! i may stay there again because the hotel is in such a good location close to the nightlife but not too close that you hear everyone rolling around drunk.

A group of us girls travelled to Kavos. For a week we stayed in the Lemon Grove. It was the worst experience of my life. Firstly the rooms were not clean and everything was broken - we barely had a toilet seat and the fridge was warm. The beds may as well have been made of brick. Service was poor and ill mannered. If we somehow got our sheets dirty i.e sand or rave paint (from nights out on the strip) the cleaners would take away our sheets and pillows so we didn't have any for most of the nights. Our whole group was absolutely shocked by the rudeness of the staff in the reception at one point one of my friends was threatened by the MAN owner that he was going to 'break her face'. Being threatened that we weren't allowed to leave Kavos because the police were coming to arrest us topped it off because the owners were miss informed and were told that our group had smashed a window when no window was smashed and the whole incident was to do with another group of people staying at the hotel. personally i think this Hotel should be shut down and the lady who frequently yelled for no reason and raised her hand to her guests to threaten to hit them should not be allowed to run a Hotel.
