Great holiday!!!
Kids aged 5 - 44 all enjoyed this holiday. We are used to 4+* rated hotels and went with some reservation after reading some reviews but this was definitely value for money. Accommodation was basic but very clean although I would have killed for air con at night, as it reached 42+ degrees most days.
The beach was a short free bus ride away, taxis were dirt cheap if you wanted to go anywhere off site- far to hot to walk.
We all found enough variety with the food even our fussy eater was happy.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Yes there were more Spanish and Germans than us Brits and Irish, but we still beat them at water polo!!
Like anything you will get out what you put in so join in with the entertainment and you will have a great time. Just watch out for the coconuts that fall from the palm trees from time to time!!

Food - fine but the quality of the meats wasn’t great - salads were very good.
Included drinks a real bonus especially for the children.
Accommodation - narrow stairs in each room are dangerous for small children. Our room was quite 'run down' and the bathroom smelt awful when the floor got wet. Sheets and towels need thrown out and replaced.
Children’s entertainment was very good.
No air con so gets very hot in the rooms.
Quite isolated so a taxi ride to anywhere although taxis are cheap.
Overall not bad considering the price

We have just returned from a great holiday at Maspalomas Oasis Club.
Whilst the accommodation was basic and evidently previously self catering accommodation, the apartments were all set around an attractive pool and were clean. There was good entertainment and good children’s activities, which the children in our party (aged 1 - 8) all enjoyed.
We stayed on an all inclusive basis and the food was edible and, on the whole, enjoyable. The catering did seem to be aimed at the German clientele and some weird and wonderful breakfast concoctions were available.
It was unfortunate that we had a burglary whilst we were there and our safe was wrenched off the wall leaving us passport-less and penniless. The Maspalomas Oasis Club dealt with the situation well and intends to cement all safes into the apartment floors.
It represented good value for money.

Don’t moan about this hotel unless you have paid alot of money for it. What more can you ask of a 3* AI hotel. Before going we read alot of bad reviews on this site and having been there we can honestly say that it is worth the money.
Food - Both of us are not typical British eaters and prefer European food. Bearing this in mind we still thought the choice of food was excellent with at least 3 main choices on every day with extras such as salad, soup, lots of deserts + more. Considering the price we paid, when you take the flight and accommodation out the food is well above standard.
Accommodation - This is basic but very clean. (We did not see any roaches/insects or mice in our apartment) Adequate with everything you need.
Hotel/Bungalows - Very nice pool and man made beach at the back which has the sun all day long :o)
Location - This hotel is approx a mile and a half from the beach. (approx 20 minute walk or 2 euros in taxi - cheap) If you look on the map they give you when you get there you will see that this is one of the closest hotels to the beach. The only ones closer being the more expensive 5* hotels.
Maspalomas - If your looking for a clubbing holiday then this is not for you. (Although Playa del Ingles is only 3 euros in a taxi)This is a very quiet and relaxing destination.
Beach & sand dunes - Great!!!!
Last word - Both of us are not keen on the canaries and prefer other destinations but overall I would say that the Maspalomas Oasis club is well worth the money (providing you haven’t paid that much) Don’t expect 5* when you only pay for 3*.
