I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IT IS NOISY FROM THE GENERATORS, THE PEOPLE ARE NOT VERY FRIENDLY OR HELPFUL. WE WERE TREATED VERY POORLY IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS. THE FOOD WAS GOOD.

JUST RETURNED FROM TUCANCUM BEACH HOTEL IT WAS FABULOUS. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY ,THE ROOMS WAS LOVELY AND CLEAN .ONLY ONE HOUR ENTERTAINMENT A NIGHT BUT VERY GOOD .ALWAYS SOME WERE TO GO LOTS OF BARS COCO BONGOS MUST GO .

This was the 2nd time we went to Cancun and the second time we stayed at the Tucancun. We went during the American spring break (which was the intention!) and the place was buzzing with students, there were families there too!
We had a great time, the food is excellent, the drinks take some getting used to because they are local, we found out that the barman keeps some Smirnoff under the counter so we slipped him a few $$'s and he used that on the sly! Cancun itself is great, you don’t want to try and walk anywhere though because the resort is huge.
Would certainly recommend deep sea fishing if you get the chance. our rep at the hotel sorted this out for us and it was a great day out (take the sun lotion though!). There is a nice mall opposite the hotel, most of the shops sell trinkets... and they are all the same trinkets, its good fun bartering with them for souvenirs!
The beach is beautiful but beware of the rip in the water - it’s very powerful, as we found out one day when we struggled to get back on to dry land. Would recommend this without hesitation, especially if you're looking to go over for spring break.

The best holiday of my life! From the minute we stepped onto the plane, I honestly cannot find fault our holiday in Cancun. The people of Cancun were without doubt the friendliest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met.

Our stay in the Tucancun Beach resort in Cancun was everything I could have wished for and more... Cancun is the best place I’ve ever been and will definitely be going back there very soon.... It's paradise!! <br>

Room large and comfortable but in need of refurbishment (even though we were in the recently refurbished rooms). Staff very friendly. Good location. Quality and variety of food poor. Only 2 restaurants open at a time, which frequently meant queues forming at the doors waiting for tables.
Entertainment poor. Nightly shows lasted about an hour with people then encouraged to buy tickets for the nightclubs in the main town centre or stay in the only one bar open of a night staffed by one barman - again resulting in long queues.

This holiday was fabulous!! It was our first time to Cancun and definitely won’t be the last.
The hotel and rooms were very clean, friendly and polite staff and the pool areas spacious and tidy.
It was in a prime location on the beach with a mall behind and another mall further down the road. The main nightlife and downtown were only a cheap bus ride away.
The food was good, with a different cuisine buffet each night, as well as 2 other restaurants. We will certainly be visiting this hotel again.

Absolutely brilliant holiday, would definitely go back, recommend to anyone, may even see you next year! Staff, food, rooms, pools, bars all absolutely excellent, you must go! Only downfall was the drinks, all local so not as we know them (no Jack Daniels or Smirnoff on menu!), but are they on offer anywhere over here on All Inclusive. (but we found out they did have Jim Beam, which they ran out of regularly every night !).

Daytime round the pool was so relaxing, plenty of sunbeds, choice of 3 swimming pools, bar staff very good at remembering what you drank and how strong you liked your cocktails!
We ate out once in the Chinese Restaurant across the road in the Kulkukan Shopping Mall as we fancied a change, and what we couldn't eat there, they boxed up for us to take away. Again, they were friendly and helpful - I'd definitely go there again too!
All in all, we had a fabulous holiday. Anyolne who goes in March has got to expect more noise from everyone and everything as it is Spring Break so more students will be there, but as we went in August we found it was perfect, not overly noisy at all.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
