Hotel Atarazanas

Just like most people here, we found this little hotel to be quiet, clean, modern and with excellent staff who were used to helping guests to find whatever they needed. 5 min to excellent restaurants just off main shopping street and parking in street outside or under ground. And reasonably priced, too!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 8 nights from 24th October 2006. We can only repeat all the good things in the reviews of other guests on this site - very clean, reasonably quiet, excellent location, excellent help at the front desk and from other staff , large room and great bathroom and shower, very close to transport. Spent one night at this place on a leisure trip. Very helpful and professional staff. Modern and very clean. Good location within walking distance to the attractions of Malaga's city center. All in all, excellent three star hotel.

This hotel is clean, stylish and well located to see the old city. No problems with noise from outside as far as we were concerned. Rooms were spacious and clean. And the shower gives you a real blast. Across the road is a very traditional market selling all sorts of fruit, veg, meat, fish and 1001 types of olive.

Liked staying at the hotel. It is not as noisy as some previous reviewers mentioned. I did wake up on the odd bang from delivery vans at the market on the otherside of the road. As the minibar was empty, used it to our advantage and stored cans of fizzy drink and beer (35p a 330ml can of San Miguel or Cruzcampo) purchased from the supermarket next door. Good central location. Walking distance to Alcazar. Clean, modern hotel. Helpful man on reception who spoke good english. Quiet too, we got a good nights sleep (not always easy in Spain!). Would recommend/stay again if in Malaga.

My Husband and I stayed at this centrally located hotel for one week on a working Holiday/Citybreak in April 2006. Hotel Atarazanas is excellently situated in the centre of Malaga, a few minutes walk from the terminus of the train from the airport. Our booking (Sun - Tues in March 2006) was extremely good value and our third floor room at the back of the hotel was well-equipped, comfortable and spacious with an excellent bathroom. Staff were polite and helpful. Only drawback was regular street noise, day and night so light sleepers should take earplugs.

Great central location, superb staff, very friendly, good bar and restaurant prices. Lovely clean rooms pleanty of room facilities. The hotel is close to taxis, buses and Picasso's museum, your visit will be worth it at this hotel. 10 minutes to Malaga airport.

My husband and I spent one night in Malaga city before we continued our journey to Costa del Sol and on to Granada and Sevilla and wanted a small boutique-style hotel in Malaga's old town, close to shops and restaurants.
