Very basic, yet clean accommodation. Rock hard beds and pillows and very rough towels. The pool bar was closed, several guests were injured in the pool (loose fixtures) and most of the sun loungers were broken.

We have been visiting Gumbet for many years and have stayed at the Hotel Mels every time.

However, this time it wasn't that enjoyable due to the fact the bar staff had changed and the food was terrible. They had no vegetarian choices at all.... read more

Mels Hotel is a nice warm place all the staff are lovely cant do more for you. The rooms are really cosy and clean.

If going to turkey for a holiday I would go to Mels they treat you like part of the family.
