If I'd read the reviews for this hotel before I booked, there is no way I would have gone ahead, but Im glad I did. I booked this hotel for a stag weekend in Lloret, our ages are 28-29. The all inclusive was great, it doesnt matter that you only get half pints at the bar, go and get another one! The food was ok for the 4 days we were there for but I could see it being a bit repetative. But there was a very good selection and again you can select a bottle of wine from the bar for your meal. The staff at the hotel are all very helpful, especially the ones at reception. I can see people's point about the bar staff being moody, but they always serve you quickly and if you tip them a couple of Euro's each day they are more than happy and will look after you.
The pool is smaller than average but adequate for the size of the hotel. The spa is great and was not expected at all. I would describe the rooms as basic (bed, bathroom, TV). We were on the first floor and did not have air conditioning but other people staying on the higher floors did as their rooms appear to have been refurbed. But seeing as you are on holiday you will probably be spending most of the time out of the room anyway.
The hotel did appear to be used by some sort of German 18-30 company and yes, they were noisy some nights.
There did'nt appear to be any kids entertainment at the hotel, so it may not be ideal for family holidays. I would recommend this hotel for group holidays or couples and I would definetly use this hotel again if I was going back to Lloret.
The only problem with Sun4U was that they did not give our passport numbers to RyanAir, which they had been given when we booked back in February. I only found this out when I spoke to RyanAir directly. Apart from that no problems, even transfers to and from Airport were on time.

Just returned fro a five day break at the ancla hotel. Our age range was 23 - 31 a party of four and went all inclusive.
I am going to start with the bad points! The hotel in the night is very noisy from 4 am to 6.30 am due to young Germans, who don't care about anyone else and have no respect for others sleeping. They ran up and down the corridors, slammed doors, played music and spoke to each other by shouting, even shouting across the corridor's! This was the only bad point of the hotel. But on our second night the noisy Germans next doors got thrown out as they were so noisy, so the staff do try and help with getting the noise level down.
Now the good points, the staff at reception were very helpful and always had smiles to greet you. There was always plenty of food available in the restaurant and during snack times but the sandwiches would go very quickly. The pool was clean but small but it didn't really matter as there was hardly anyone in it. We never had to queue for drinks and alot of choice available but all locally produce. There was also a lovely spa with two steam rooms which you could use anytime.
Beach nearby was lovely and clean, only a 5 mins walk away.
Overall we liked the hotel but shame about the inconsiderate Germans!!! Would go back to lloret but wouldn't stay in this hotel again. Wouldn't recommend the hotel to families only young couples due to noise level.

all i can say about this 4 night break that me and my husband took is that i'm glad it wasn't a week's holiday with our kids, food was foul but we survived on chips, oh and day snack was ok burger n chips but meals in restaraunt were thrown together slop, i thought at least i can have fruit for breakfast, but the small amount of fruit available was soggy n had flies around them, gross i know!!!! it was like an 18-30's for foreign folk!!!! on a good note you do get real coka cola and san miguel on tap but that is the only plus to this place, sun for u messed up our transfers and i ended up ringin them off n on for about an hour getting passed about, i wont be booking with them again, there were a few families there who were very annoyed and surrounded by loud all night foreigners preventing them sleeping on a night, so i would defo never advise anyone to bring kids here, all in all me n my husband came for a short break in the sun n survived it!!!!!!!! our room was basic a bit dated n scraggy but clean ish i suppose!!!! try the ancla hotel at your own risk...... that's all i can say really!!!!!! p.s fenals beach is fab right at the far end to the right is a small beach cove, nice waves n warm water lush!!!!

anyone who books with this company are absolutely mad, not only are they ignorant but as soon as they have your credit card details they dont give a dam. i had to ring them 3 times to find out my flight details etc as once they had took payment and said we will call you back for your passport info that was it, they had me in a panic for 2 days as i though they werent coatia. as for the ancla hotel, dont go there unless you take plenty of money with you as you end up buying your drinks as the stupid plastic tube glasses they serve your beer in are never full when they pour them and they are the most misserable people i have ever met, they dont know the meaning of the word SMILE. the rooms are not clean, towels are the only thing that is clean there, food was good exept your breckie, if i was you i would eat out for that, the pool was a laugh, if it gets ten people in it i would be very suprised, entertainment is rubbish for what little effort they make, only good if you are spanish, oh and by the way,take a phrase book with you with german phrases in it because thats all the place caters for, and they are the most ignorent people to try to get along with. beach is ok if you like the feeling of grit on your feet.town ok for you if you are 18,but thats it.you have been warned........

SUN4U is the worst tour operator i have ever been with. When arriving at our destination , there was no rep or tranfer waiting for us. We had been given various numbers to phone incase of any problems but no one was answering. We still couldnt get intouch with them to arrange transfer back to the airport.The receptionist at our hotel tried for 2 hours, still couldnt get a reply. When arriving back in englang , we have since tried to contact this firm with no success. We have been left out of pocket as we had to get a taxi to and from the airport. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.The hotel staff and resort was good . Would go back there again but not with this tour operator.

Where do i start? Theres not a positive comment i could leave. We were due to stay for a week but lasted 3 days before paying extra to come home early.
Everything that is written about the hotel couldnt be more far from the truth.
All inclusive they clearly have no idea what that means, Only being allowed to get 1 drink per person per a time.. Set times for food, which i must say i wouldnt even feed a dog let alone people or children.
Entertainment.. Well there isnt any unless you are spainsh as over there their priority is there own, so i dont know why they are allowing British etc to book. 3 hours of watching the stuck up spanish, dance is not my idea of fun. When it was clearly stated on there site good entertainment day/night, theres not even enough room to move around the pool (paddling more like) let alone have entertainment. We spent the little spending money we did have on going out just to be in a nice enviroment, friendly people, good music, drinks etc.
If it wasnt for the people we met there (British) i would of died of bordem.
I must say that the British did truely stick together and we met people we would deffinetly keep in contact with.
The weather well we had 3 days of rain straight which you cant blame the hotel for, but claiming they had entertainment during the day, we slept as there so called in door swimming pool only held 15 people, which of course the spanish made sure they had control over, Satellite tv, ha, we had 3 channels which were spanish, and our view from the balcony, why bother going out there.
We were woke up every morning by a dog which a local had, and building machinery also, and the walls may have just been curtains as you could clearly hear every conversation, movement, toilet etc.
We were also put on the 7th floor of which the elevator kept breaking down, and i can tell you wlaking up and down 7 floors its self is a marathon.
When trying to talk to any member of staff no sense was given, they couldnt talk much english and didnt seem to care in the slightest, this was proven when asking for a drink and being ignored or told no.
The beach well if you would wanna call it that, its a man made beach, which is 200 meters long in my opinion, the so called sand is stones off a building site which you sink if you stand on we walked off the beach covered in mud, and the rules of going on there, why bother?
So if you fancy a 'holiday' dont waste your time or money as you really wont be happy. Better off going to your local beach for a week.

The Hotel was lovely, the food was good for the price and also a good variety of drinks. There were a lot of spainish people but they were friendly. It is just a 5 minute walk from the Beach and only 15 min walk from brilliant nite life. It was me and my Mum and we had a great time and will be going again.
Although I would not use Sun 4 u again they messed up just about every thing, first they sent us to wring hotel, we were not informed of xtra charges for luguage and the transferrs were messed up we spent most of our last day on the phone trying to sort this out.

The hotel was nice but wouldn't go again. They don't cater for English and don't think that they expect English to go. No information for English and staff don't speak much English. I didn't like the food, tried it a few times but ended up eating out. They had a day where hotel was full of old Spanish people who were rude and took over everywhere!
I was woken up every night by people shouting and it wasn't English as there were only a few of us there! The rooms basic but cleaned every day.
Lloret is ok but wouldn't go again, only saw one sunny day out of 5 and so not impressed at all! I didn't really enjoy nightlife. The reps were lying to get us into clubs which were crammed. One plus, no hassling during day or in quieter part (towards smaller beach)
