I cant really comment on the EVA apts as when we got there they had closed for the end of season,we had paid for taxi from airport to Eva,we were only lucky that they had closed the day before so there was someone there tying up loose ends.We had to wait 3 hours for the manager to get us some where else thank God for her she was lovely,we then had to pay another taxi fare an unexpected expense,we had two young children with us so it wasnt much fun,we got put into the Bolero apts which were ok and the staff were nice.I have sent 10 emails to fresh Holidays and two to Onholidaygroup which i think is part of fresh holidays i have not had one reply a simple sorry would be enough'Dont book with Fresh holidays

the apartments are definately budget, lots of little damaged and rusted things in the apartments. the staff are all friendly and helpful,the apartments are well large enough. the bedding is a disgrace,it is 20 years old if it is a day the pillow is a joke bad neck guaranteed.cooking facilities are virtually none existant, all there is are 2 electric rings no grill no oven no toaster no kettle. and a weird mix of plastic plates and rusted pots and pans. no toilet rolls provided 50c at the bar. the swimmping pool area badly needs a good scrubbing,the walk up to the hotel would not suit anybody with walking diffiulties.but they save the best till last,you pay your 100 euros deposit and then when in your room back of the door. it informs all clients of the hotel that 25 euros is taken from their deposit for the cleaning of the room.this is a total spanish rip off,so if booking these apartments beware of this.

The Eva apartments are a fabulous little getaway from the main town of Lloret De Mar. Situated up-hill from the main town, these apartments are not suitable to the disabled due to the steep nature of the hill they sit on, however if you don't want to leave the apartment block, rooms can be at ground floor level, however the pool area is down a few steps.
I found the Eva apartments to be clean, well run and friendly with a good mix of different nationalities in the complex.
The apartment itself is fabulous considering the budget nature! There are 4 separate rooms, Lounge; kitchen; bathroom & bedroom! so everything is in its own place and all apartments have a balcony.
The downside to this place is the bar/restaurant. The food is overpriced and generally of not very good quality, however you just can't be bothered to walk all down the hill for a meal all the time! (and especially not back up it again after your full of sangria!) The good news is there is a massive supermarket just 2 minutes away for all your self-catering needs so you don't need to walk miles or spend on taxi's just to get a bit of shopping in.
Staff are friendly and welcoming, and there was no issue with the return of our 100 euro's at the end of the trip.
All in all it was a great holiday for the price. I would recommend this apartment.

I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Eva Apartments. All seemed well when we 1st booked in - we already knew about the 100 euro deposit from previous review so we're prepared. The hotel itself wasnt too bad and the room was average standard. However the pool area is horrible with people walking past the hotel being able to look over a very small wall into the hotel. The floor of the pool area is all uneven and there is a very dangerous edge around the pool where the floor has sunk. My 2 year old stubbed her toe on this.
The downfall for this hotel is the walk it is up a steep hill and anyone with buggies (like us) or the elderly could not manage it especially in the midday heat.
We stayed at the hotel for one week and the apartment was cleaned the day before we were due to go home!! I suspect this is to check that everything is in order before you check out! My partners parents who were with us had their apartment cleaned 4 times in one week and us one!! what????
The woman who works at the hotel is horrible. My daughter had an accident on the bed and the sheets were wet. She then went to another member of the party I had travelled with saying she needed to speak with me. I was then told that I would need to pay for a new matress as the other would need to be thrown away because of the wee. I since spoke with a few of the other people that were staying at the hotel and they said that they take your 100 euro deposit saying it is for a new matress and then they put the old one on the sun terrace and rinse it through - she had seen them do this with a dutch lad who was staying there. I did argue my point with them but they have you over a barrell with the deposit. They were completely unsympathetic and her english became suddenly broken when we were speaking about the money - it wasnt the case when I was checking in!! She knew we had a baby in the party, surely they should have prepared!
All in all this totally ruined the last day and I wanted to get as far away from the place as possible. There is no atmosphere at the hotel and the staff are miserable.
Would never stay here again and wouldnt recommend it to anyone either. They may advertise as a cheap hotel but they make the money back in otherways!
