I went with my wife and two sons aged 3 and 6. The hotel is approx 12 KM from Marbella and 10 from Estepona.
The bedroom was excellent, high quality and kept spotlessly clean. The aircon was superb and much needed.
The hotel itself was very good indeed with extremely helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble for them.
There is a superb children’s pool that is suitable for under 4,s and has lots of floaty toys, the main pool never gets too busy and was great for my 6 year old.
Breakfast was excellent with huge variety and quickly replenished, Dinner was poor, very good salads and cold foods but the main hot meals were quite poor. Saying that, I always walked away full.
A car is needed if you want get away from the hotel, driving is no problem as there is one road that takes you everywhere.
Overall, a very happy time was had by all and we are definitely going back for another week next year. I am a bit of a holiday snob and felt all our requirements were well covered.

Children's pool excellent - as other reviewer said. They have at least three other small pools, a main pool and a roof pool - so you could swim in a pool a day for 7 days!
Staff helpful.We would definitely go back - but we tend to try somewhere new each year.
They have a beach bar about 10 minute walk away (note this if you want hotel right on beach!) which was extremely well kitted out with mellow music but don't eat there! There are better restaurants further along the beach towards Estepona who are cheaper and serve better food. I think we were paying for the ambience!
Oh - not much beach as it was eroded by the tide during a big storm in early 2006 and not refurbed yet. This did not matter to us much as the little one did not like waves rushing in at her!!
Breakfast and dinner good. Always seemed to be lots - and everyone appeared to be on HB. Particularly decent seafood most evenings.
Need a car to get around if you want to go to Puerto Banus or Estepona. Check out www.carjet.com for the best deals I could find.
