Apartmentos San Carlos

These apartments have been left in a time warp. The dated furniture and beds which are easily 30 years old are dirty, uncomfortable and totally inadequate.There is literally no storage for clothing in apartments that are supposed to sleep four or five The cheap plastic patio set ( two chairs and a table ) is ingrained with years of dirt, and the plastic is so thin that they bend when you sit on them. I weigh around 13 stones, but if someone heavier were to sit on them, they will be in for a serious fall. The access to the apartments is very dangerous with uneven crazy paving, broken and loose tiles, and dodgy steps being some of the many hazards you have to negotiate to reach the dingy apartments. The towels are paper thin, old and hopeless for drying and they were never changed during our 7 night stay. The cutlery and crockery ( should anyone be brave enough to consider using them ) is old and looks like a few remnants left over from a car boot sale. We never saw a maid in the whole seven day stay which gives you an idea of the standards the owners set. The guests were mostly Spanish with a few British, although the Spanish were the noisest lot i have ever experienced and were bawling and shouting and jumping in the pool at 4, 5, and 6 a.m. on their way back to thier rooms, every single night. If i could give this place a zero out of ten i would. The only way to improve the San Carlos would be to raze it to the ground. To sum up... a hellhole that should be avoided at all costs.
