We also were given a room in the annex with no balcony (a bit dark and old fashioned) but clean.
The hotel was a bit run down and the food was the worst I've ever had.
Won't be booking Htop hotels accomodation again.

We (myself & partner in our mid 20s, our 3 year old child and my parents in their 60s) stayed at this hotel for 10 days all inclusive from the 10th - 20th Oct, paying very little (£220 each including fights) and were not expecting much due to how cheap it was.
When we arrived at midnight we were instantly directed to our rooms which were in the main hotel itself - very clean and appropriate in size for us.
The food was edible and whilst my partner and parents enjoyed most of the meals, there was not much chose for young children or fussy eaters like myself so I ate mostly offsite but the area is cheap and around the corner there is a pizza restaurant and its about 9 euros for a large pizza.
The trips were good and reasonably priced. We went to Barcelona with the stadium which was 19 euros each but worth it, Barcelona is a beautiful city.
We also went to a Medieval evening which was 12 euros including free meal bottle of wine to share. If you wanted drinks after the jousting tournament you had to buy them yourself though and that was very expensive, about 5 euros for a pint of beer.
We went to Pineda Palace a few times but found it too clinical and without the atmosphere of our hotel. The waiters also were strict about 2 drinks per card, unlike ours where I once ordered 8 drinks on 1 card.
Overall a pleasant family holiday which we all enjoyed and felt definitely worth the money. Enjoy your holiday!

We took our 2 kids, 6 & 4 years, for one week - they loved it but not the food. The hotel put us in the apartments next to the hotel which we were not happy with and they seem to do this all the time which I think is poor as the rooms in the hotel are better.
Location: - Not great but 10 minutes walk to the beach. The lorries at night are a real pain depending on where your room is.
Pool: - Fine and play area is good for the kids.
Bar: - ok, no real wait, but we were there in Oct.
Food: - After 2 days we were hungry and the last couple of days we ate out which was like heaven. Kids had no main meals as they would not eat what they were serving and well, who could blame them? Basic things like rolls, cereal, fruit etc was all that you could say were 3 stars, the rest was 0.5 star at best.
Entertainment: - Ok if you like singers from 1940, the kids liked the mini disco but that did not last long enough.
Overall: - Would not go back to that hotel, 2 star at best.

Just back from the Hotel Paradis Park in Pindea de Mar. First I must mention I cannot believe the other holiday makers comments I was dreading coming here after reading them, but their complaints are totally incorrect, the hotel was good and the food was good.
The ability to go to other areas within the H Top group was bloody fantastic. All credit to the coach driver, we missed our stop due to our two small children playing up, and upon realising we had missed our hotel, informed the driver who said at the next hotel he would arrange for us to have dinner there which he did you could not ask for more than this.
The hotel reception were very helpful if at times a bit odd. There was one lady who was complaining to the hotel manager/catering manager complaining about the food moaning about there was no meat, menu was full salad err with ham (meat) cheese. And full assorted fruit bowl and about four selections of deserts, as well as soup/ rolls.
The hot section was fish (not keen on fish but had some and was surprised how nice it was), meatballs (sort of meat), spaghetti, plus chips and a nice selection of vegetables... all hot, all cooked, overall "the meat" selection was good. The breakfast and snacks was excellent.
This is only 3 stars and having been to three other H Top hotels all four stars’s the menu was marginally better, a bit more choice and that was about it. The price I paid for this holiday was £719 which was also in school hols too. Considering this it was excellent value the only bad thing about the holiday we have just experienced was the British continually moaning and the couple next door to us who's fella kept singing and bashing the wall one night which I eventually had to knock on his door and told him to keep it down, this was at 2.30am he was so drunk I couldn’t make out whether he was Irish or German.
Holiday weather wasn't brilliant and the pool far to cold, so would not come to the Costa Brava again unless it was July/August.

We stayed at the Paradis Park hotel for a week. A very basic hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel situated near outskirts of town so nice and quiet.
A 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach. Nightly entertainment was available. Food was nothing to write home about but you get what you pay for.
It was all in all a very good holiday and I would definitely go back there. Incidentally the hotel is 1 in a chain known as hilltop hotels and if you're all inclusive you can use facilities at any of the others in the chain. One of which is a 10 minute walk away.

We had booked this hotel from the good reviews it had and that it was good value for money - or so we thought! How wrong we were. This hotel should never be three star and is in need of urgent restoration and regrading.
The staff were difficult to understand, the food was appalling and the only form of entertainment was out on the small terrace or in the lobby area with very limited space. As far as eating at the other H Top Hotel - you needed to book 24hrs in advance and could only do this once, we tried and was told it was fully booked - wonder why, everyone else was probably doing the same!
We stuck it out for 2 days and couldn't bear to face the food again. They never serve potatoes just chips, chips and chips, which always seemed to be warmed up. The cooked breakfast was much to be desired, you never had a choice of a full cooked breakfast, just sausage and eggs one day and bacon eggs, beans the next, which none of them looked edible. Just looking around at people's faces when eating said it all. Everyone seemed to be eating out but that to us is defeating the object of paying all inclusive and enough was enough we asked to be transferred asap. They did this very promptly with no questions asked; it was obvious this happens alot.
We stayed at The Olympia Hotel in Calella, which was more like a three hotel with plenty going on and a good supply of quality food.
My advice stay clear - it is NOT value for money and should be closed down.

On arrival our first impression was "What have we done" but as we checked in we were greeted by friendly competent staff who showed us quickly to our apartment.
All of the "brits" seemed to be staying in the apartments that were around the corner from the hotel.
Our room was lovely, beds comfortable, telly, fans and a fridge. The rooms were cleaned every day, beds made and towels changed. The food was ok there was something to suit everybody although foreign food is just not the same, but I personally don’t mind trying different things.
As the hotel is quite small the size of the pool and seating area was plenty for everybody, no waiting for sun-beds, or waiting for drinks. The entertainment for adults and children was very basic but all the staff were great with the children.
Everyone seemed to talk to everyone and we made great friends. We would be happy to return to the same hotel again.

My 14 year old daughter and I stayed for 10 days here.
Our first problem was that the main hotel was over booked and we were rudely told that we were in the Apartment annex over the road, which had no balcony or air conditioning.
Beware of this little game this hotel plays! They do not care if you argue that you booked a 3 star hotel.
The plus point is that the apartments are quieter than the main hotel.
What the hotel does not also tell you is that there is a large lorry coach park right opposite the hotel which can be dangerous for small kids and pose threats possibly for older kids.
The hotel food was disgusting and awful. Chips with every meal and no other form of potato seen for 10 days. We ate out regularly.
Staff attitude in the restaurant was the pits with you begging for water!
The plus points and there are some. Good pool for all age kids+ park area and games court. Great bar staff at pool. A shame their attitude did not spread to other areas. Bikes available for use.
My suggestion- stay away from here and go to the other H Top hotel in Pineda of Calella.
Compared to other inclusive 3 stars this is a dump!
The truth is hidden in the fact that none of the major tour operators use this hotel.
Last booking availability is this properties business but move on is my suggestion!

Well were do I start, we travelled as a family of 7, 5 adults 2 kids. The hotel itself was very very old fashioned dark dull and boring. It’s supposed to be 3star but I wouldn’t give it 1 star.
When we arrived we were sent over the road to apartments with no a/c or balcony, the rooms were as dark as a dungeon. Next morning we complained to reception to get moved into the main hotel, which they did 5 days later.
That wasn’t much better, four beds across the room and just about enough room to move around them, very small balcony, tiny bathroom but a/c was quite good.
Rooms were cleaned everyday and towels changed everyday only if the dirty ones were left in the bath. Staff friendly enough but food was awful. Chips chips and chips.
No shops close to hotel. No decent view from hotel either, it’s situated in the middle of nowhere a complete dump. Pineda de mar hasn’t much to offer either dirty streets with graffiti everywhere with no decent restaurants and absolutely nothing to do.
The beach is very clean but it’s a shingle beach so make sure and wear sandals. After the first couple of days we tried to get flight home which want possible.
All I can say is I have never stayed in such a dump in all my life and will definitely not be back in the Costa Brava never mind pineda de mar.

We got a really good deal on the price to stay here, but having read some bad reviews we were somewhat nervous of where we were going to end up.
When we arrived we were left wondering if we were at the same hotel as those bad reviews had described! Our room was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned every day, and the food was very good considering the cheap price of our stay. Admittedly the pool was cold when you first got in, but the weather was hot so it was refreshing, and always clean.
The staff were very friendly, and as Pineda de Mar is a bit of a quiet resort for a young couple like ourselves. The free bus to other resorts was so handy. Our only downside was that the in-house entertainment was directed at children for the early part of the evening, and the older generation for the later part. For a cheap, excellent value stay, i would definitely recommend this place.

We're a family of 4 with a 9 year old boy and a 2 year old girl we booked all inclusive for 2 weeks during the May half term and paid approx £800 with Ryanair.
We were pleasantly surprised - everything went to plan, food and entertainment were good if you didn't have high expectations, people friendly - we went several times to lunch at the Pineda Palace and met other families whom we went to entertain with there too.
Beach is very good except the water was cold. We even had a day of rain - perhaps best if we went in July and August for better weather. Our 9-year-old boy enjoyed the freedom around the hotel, playing with friends and the games etc during the day.
Daughter loved the mini disco and generally you've got to make the most of it, which is what we did, and had a wonderful holiday. Wouldn't go back only because we don't like going to the same place twice.

Me and my boyfriend spent a week at the HTOP Paradise Park hotel at the end of October. When we first arrived my impressions were that the hotel looked quite small, and seemed to be far out from any kind of Nightlife! When we got into the hotel, the receptionist was very friendly and welcomed us. We stayed on the 5th Floor (I requested we stayed high up) so that was good.
Our room was great, really big! We had a kitchen, a living room area, and then our bedroom was in another room! We had a huge big double balcony which the sun shone right onto.... Was great relaxing all day topping up our tans.
Food wasn’t great at all! Not much choice... there was always chips though, even for breakfast! I could always have something to eat, but my boyfriend was alot fussier and we ended up eating out a few times!
Entertainment was okay, great for kids, but not alot for the adults! I am 19 and my boyfriend was 20, and we ended up quite bored at night! There were no pubs to really go to or have a drink in. We went on a few excursions which were good! We went to Barcelona for the day; we also went to Lloret De Mar which appeared to be livelier for our age group! We also went to a medieval night which was a great laugh... definitely recommend that!
All in all the hotel and staff were lovely. Food and entertainment on the other hand were very poor, therefore I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel for young couples!
