Superb location centrally on the nursery slope which is the only way to access the other runs and chairlifts.
Very family orientated hotel with lots of facilities for the children. Not a hotel for couples or seniors though.
Friendly Crystal staff, pleasant bar with views of skiers whizzing past all day. Relaxed and inviting. A great 3star property

If you want ski in ski out this is a great hotel - especially if you have children. We booked a last minute deal so shouldn't really grumble, but we hadn't realised just how many children would be in this hotel in the second week of January!
The creche was very good apparently. Ski room gets a little congested but you really do put your skis on outside the front door and ski off down a blue run to a chair or gondola. Link to Les Arcs is very quick and most impressive - bit of a bottleneck when you get out at Les Arcs but soon sorts itself out!
Crystal run hotel so good bar and food, etc. Village facilities are a short walk away with a supermarket, etc. and a good choice of bars and restaurants. We flew into Chambery which is only a couple of hours transfer to resort.

Hotel has a fantastic location, right inbetween 2 blue pistes and with the ski schools meeting right outside. I travelled with skibound on a school trip and found the rooms to be basic but adequate. I'd imagine that they would be crowded if we hadn't asked for twins and triples. Staff were friendly and helpful and rectified most problems very quickly. the lack of a staff room meant that the lounge could sometimes be a bit noisy. Having praised the hotel I would not organise a trip with skibound again as they changed my resort only after we paid our deposit, ignored requests for twin rooms only and I found their level of customer service very poor and sometimes confrontational.
