Booked at late notice Duplex Apartment in Le Centaure. Very pleased with standard of apartment. On arrival dealt with at check-in very quickly in reception and found apartment spotless and very spacious.Sofa- bed more than adequate for two children.Fresh bread available from reception each morning was a nice touch. Paid locally for television but limited english speaking programmes probably not worth it. Kids loved pool though not the warmest but more than adequate. Able to ski in and out from ground floor ski lockers. Great snow and sun -excellent skiing conditions plenty of runs for all levels of skiers. Booked private ski lessons with Reflex-la Plagne our instructor Christophe made our holiday with regard to skiing. Worth every penny , brilliant teacher especially with kids.If require lessons Reflex is a must.Good value, clean apartment will definately book again

Just got back form Belle Plagne and Centaure apartments last night and had a great time. We originally booked a studio apartment but were given a 1 bedroom apartment and it was great (definitely pay the extra £80 on holiday booking for a bedroom if you can). The apartments are the furthest away from the drop off point but are not far from the village centre and are right by the ski lessons meeting places.
The rooms are spacious and really nicely decorated as I think that have been refurbished in the last 6 months. There are great views of the slopes and the villages depending which side of the complex you stay on. When we were there the swimming pool was not open but we were given a 7 day pass to the pool at a nearby hotel which was great. Some other guests used the sauna and Jacuzzi at Centaure and said it was great and went several times.
The apartments are lovely and quiet and are a few metres (out the back door on level 1) from the spar shop and ski rental place and a few more minutes down the lift tot he village centre and there are some good hills around the hotel to toboggan on. Beware they do take a deposit on 350 euros on the first day but you get it back no problem and I think it is standard for all the apartments in Belle Plagne.
The apartments have lifts and stairs, reception is on a part time basis with emergency call out numbers, there are balconies, plenty of storage space especially for skis etc and you can be on a blue slope down to belle cote in less than 5 minutes.
Overall it was one of the better places I have stayed.

I posted an overall rating of 5 but this could easily have been an easy 9/10.
Arrived late and reception was closed but after several minutes of wondering what to do i stumbled across a notice board directly opposite the reception door with a notice for me saying our room number is ??? and the key is in the room with the door open.
Late at night so made the beds up with the nicely presented bed sheets. Following morning tore into the nicely presented towles supplied for a shower before checking in with reception.
Reception decided to inform us that the towels and sheets were going to cost us over 120 EUROS.
On Check out on our last morning we wanted away sharp as we had a long drive ahead of us back to Scotland so we were in a rush. Despite this we still thought we were doing good putting the dishwasher on and and emptying the bins and so on but this was not the case. As we were checking out a member of staff was sent to check the room and he returned saying it hadn't been cleaned. We were then made to go back to the room and clean it ready for the next guests.
I asked if they had there own cleaners or not and he said they did but they get stressed easily. I couldn't beleive what i had just been told, do they not pay the wages.
Nice clean and modern complex with good pool apart from i think you would be warmer making snow angels in your speedos than swimming in that pool. A notice was up in the change rooms saying the Bubble bath was out of order due to risk of electric shock as it was linked the elevators electrics. Couldn't quite get my head round that and the steam room was never on all week.
As for la plagne ski resort it is simply the best resort i have been to and our group was a mixture of skiers and boarders.
Just be warned of hidden extras and take you cleaning products with you.
