Stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Du golf for a late season skiing weekend. Found it to be a comfortable, friendly hotel run by a family who made us very welcome. Food was amazing - 5 courses every night. The resort itself was a real let down.
Access to the slopes was via a very slow and sometimes crowded mountain train - the journey taking half an hour from the town up to the skiing area. Escaping for a weekend without the kids meant we were hoping for some après ski and night life but everything was closed down by 7pm and nothing to do but sit in the hotel and enjoy (another!) bottle of wine. Skiing was good but limited runs for beginners.
Plenty of snow for the time of year and no queuing for the lifts. A pleasant weekend but wont be rushing back.
