Chalet Hotel St. Louis

A great welcome from the staff was followed by a tasty three course meal even though we arrived at 9.30pm. We found all the the staff to be very friendly and most helpful. Special mention for Adam, Andy, Ben and Charlie. The location was perfect with the Bellecote run less than a minutes walk across the road. The bootroom was conveniently located at the entrance to the chalet, with lockers and heated boot racks for all your gear. The rooms were clean if a little on the small side. (Not much room for storage of cases, helmets etc.). A comfortable lounge and bar with a T.V room. Our teenagers would have liked to watch some footie one night but the room was pretty much dominated all week by young children until well after the 9 o'clock watershed! The food was mostly excellent and staff were more than willing to accomodate the fussier eater (our youngest) with larger portions of the kids high tea served at dinner with us.
The snow and ski-ing were excellent and had I not torn my calf muscle on day three I would not have benfitted from the superb services of resident sports massage therapist Dee, who got me back on the slopes in a couple of days!!
A highly recommended place to stay for singles, couples, families with children young and older.
