Hillside 1 & 2 Studios & Apartments

We have been to the Hillside Studios at Whit for the last five years.
They are very comfortable but basic and provide very good value for money. Well situated for all the facilities in Lassi. The owners take a great pride in maintaining the spotless apartments.
The situation produces a great feeling of calm and well being as you sit on the balcony with a drink looking over towards Lixouri in the sunshine.

We stayed for one week and although it was up a hill the views were wonderful, it was lovely to wake up to see the church and the sea. The rooms were clean, although basic, but that was all we wanted. I would recommend these to anyone who doesnt mind a slight walk and doesnt want to stay in to eat. The first floor apartments are better than the ground floor ones.
The Libra rep didnt turn up on time and wasnt that helpful. I have used Libra before and found them very good, but not on this occassion. We booked a trip through her to Smuggles Cove and then found out we couldnt get off the boat there on that day, it was a waste of a trip. Would have booked through someone in the main street.
The Peppermint restaurant at the bottom of the hill was one of the best I have eaten in on holiday.

I have just came back from staying in the Hillside Apartment 1 for 11nights and I cried when I first arrived. Don't get me wrong the room was clean and tidy, but it was so basic. You didn't have room to turn around in the bathroom or shower and the kitchen was tiny, if your looking for a family apartment with plenty of cooking facilities this is not for you.
The hill to the apartment is another matter all together. The view is stunning but the walk up there is not! It is only 5mins max but it is very steep, I struggled everyday with it and I'm twenty!
Also the apartment has an array of stray cats that can slither through the tiniest gaps in your balcony doors (which you have to leave open as there's no air con).
The couple who run the apartments are lovley and will help any way they can, but their english is not great!
Families or anybody looking for accomodation to spend a lot of time and eat in- this is not for you.
If your just looking for a bed to come home to at night than by all means the rooms are fine, although ours got cleaned once the whole time we are there (the bins & towels are changed everyday).

Our holiday here was fantastic!!! Just the right location for us, away from the busier parts of Argassi but with the main streets close enough to walk to.
A free bus takes you the shortish journey to St Nicolas beach which is great for water sports or just laying on the beach enjoying a glass of wine or a cold beer!
Apartments are basic but very clean and the views are fantastic, well worth the steep hill! The pool is really close by and is lovely, a real sun trap all day with free sunbeds!
The family run pool and snack bar is very relaxing and was not over crowded even in late July. Argassi is great for couples, there are some lovely places to get some great meals and good bars to have drinks, the shopping is great too!!
Everyone is really friendly and the rep was helpful. All in all a fab place and climbing the hill is definitely worth it!

We enjoyed the holiday here. It was dead cheap and fantastic value for money.
There was a bit of a climb to the apartment but if you are mildly fit and not inclined to whinge, it is well worth it; there is a really good view from the balcony.
Walking to the centre took us about 10 to 15 minutes and the bars and restaurants are standard stuff for Greek islands; it is not cultural and full of great architecture so if that's your cup of tea this is not the place for you.
On the other hand if you like a bit of sun, sea, karaoke and cheap Greek cocktails it's terrific.
If you like beaches then visit Geriakas beach; really nice. But watch the turtles.
People are really friendly and would go again, though best of luck with the airport!

The Hillside Studios are well located for the bars, restaurants and beaches of Lassi, but are also very peaceful and have wonderful views of the Lassi coastline-the sunset is lovely.
The owners, Panagis and his wife are very welcoming and helpful. The standard of the studios is good and the daily maid service is excellent. There is a supermarket and bar within a couple of hundred yards, and the centre of Lassi is within a ten minute walk.
When we were there we met couples who had returned year after year, and that speaks for itself! If you are looking for quiet, well run accommodation, then the Hillside studios will suit you fine.
