The "Castellsol Apartments" were built in 1987 and are maintained to the highest standard. The apartments are situated to the north of Minorca, just 400 metres from the beautiful bay of "Arenal d'en Castell". We have 42 apartments in total - 14 one bed roomed and 28 two bed roomed. All the apartments have two terraces. There is a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces and tropical gardens. Our guests also can make use of the games room. loading...

I needn't have worried about that as not much building work went on and we didn’t really have any noise from that area at all, just the noise from the main road right outside the apartments with constant traffic (coaches/buses/motorcycles etc) passing all day.
Also, there was a local bar called the Irish Pub, which tended to have loud (and I mean loud!!) music playing from about 9pm until (some nights) 4am/5am. This is not a resort if you are looking for a little bit of peace and quiet.
The apartments were clean and spacious, but we didn’t have an oven, only microwave and hob, and the kitchen was a bit sparse.
The First Choice information did not mention the road at all otherwise we could have been prepared for it!
All in all, if the Castellsol Apartments were in a different, quiet resort, I would use them again.
