The Es Cana Playa apartments are a small block of apartments right on the edge of the beach in Es Cana.
We hired a one bedroom apartment for 2 weeks with First Choice. The apartment was very basic but very clean. The towels where changed every other day and the bed linen changed once a week. Our apartment was on the top floor (4 floors, no lift) and had a very large balcony over looking the beach. The balcony had a small table and 2 chairs. The bedroom had 2 single beds, a ceiling fan and a large door that also over looked the beach. We went to sleep at night listening to the sound of the waves.
The apartments have a small private pool which is located about 20m away next to a car park. The pool has a tiny sun bathing area with 6 free sun beds; you have to be at the pool early to get one of these. There is also a tennis court which we never used.
Es Cana has very little to do during the day other than go on the beach and at night it is also quite. There are a few bars, Charlie’s is open till the early hours.
The Hippy Market on a Wednesday isn’t worth the walk.
If you love the beach and want quite relaxing holiday Es Cana is the place to go. I will not be returning as it was a bit to quite for my liking.

We had a wonderful lazy week here. This is the 2nd time we had been to Es Cana, but the 1st time to these apartments. Our apartment was lovely, very clean & had a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster etc. Fully equipped bathroom/shower. Overhead fans in the lounge & bedroom & a lovely balcony complete with table & chairs to sit on & watch the world go by.
Apartment cleaned several times during the week. The only things really missing were some mugs (cups were supplied) for our cuppas (we had to go & buy some). Also it would have been nice to have had a radio/TV for the times we were in.
Brilliant bar, cafe & shop just down the stairs, all served by friendly helpful staff. Set in an ideal position next to sea but near to everywhere else.
Could not wish for a better place to stay. So impressed we booked for 2008 before we left! This time for 12 days not 7.
All in all a very good place at a very, very reasonable price.

Big studio apartment, big ceiling fans keep you cool, great views over the beach, all the appliances work and the staff could not be more helpful, you have to make up your beds in the studio apartment but this is a small price to pay for the space you get when the beds are put away, the resort is very good for all age groups big sandy beach with lots of bars with toilets.
