beautiful hotel, more beautiful the Greek & English hospitality!!! Sharon & Dimitris are the people who love the word hospitality. Always with a smile. Clean, near town, sunset view, animal lovers, now with a brand new pool, serve breakfast in an abelievable room made of stone. everything that i search for, were there!!!

We stayed at Villa Konstantin for two weeks between June 24 and July 8, 2007, and we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, the level of the service, and the premises. We were particularly pleased by the homey and hospitable atmosphere at the hotel, carefully and consistently cultivated by Sharon, the hotel owner, and by her friendliness, helpfulness, and flexibility. Sharon makes everybody at the hotel feel at home and is more than willing to provide her guests with information and directions on places to visit, beaches, restaurants, bus stations, taxis, etc., etc. All hotel staff are very friendly and nice, too. Another thing we really appreciated was a free airport-hotel-airport transfer arranged by the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts are adequate (and served until late in the morning, which we also appreciated :-)), the premises are lovely and well-kept, and the hotel in general is small, cozy, and homey. We think it is ideally suited for a nice holiday in Mykonos.

Ok, if you want luxury bathrooms then...

Ok, if you want luxury bathrooms then this may not be for you, but if you want a clean spacious apartment, with comfy beds and ample space for you to relax and enjoy Mykonos then this is the place to stay.
Its a 2 minute drive to the town, or a 10 minute walk down a narrow path, either way its high enough from the port to be quiet, but near enough to get in and out of the action.
The climb back up the path can be hard-work, but a taxi takes 2 minutes from the town and costs about 3 euros.
What makes this place so special is the hospitality of Sharon and Demetri.
They are the perfect hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay special. Completely easy-going and down to earth, they helped us enjoy our time in Mykonos and did not once try to con us, overcharge us or squeeze any extra cash out of us, even when we had a friend come and stay a few nights.
The rooms are reasonably priced for the size: we shared a family size room between two of us, which gave us our own private bedrooms, a lounge, terrace, kitchen and shower.
If we tried to book this at any other hotel/apartments we would have spent a fortune, but Villa Konstantin was great value for money.
What's more all the nice looking girls on the island were staying there to, which was a bonus!

Summer 2005 Mykonos Island, "Villa...

Summer 2005 Mykonos Island, "Villa Konstantin"
How else can I describe the terrible experience of last years holiday in Mykonos other than a living hell. We arrived at the Villa Konstantin after reading excellent reviews about the place and confident that our holiday there would be as fantastic as every time we visit the island of Mykonos.
Upon arrival we were puzzled as to why the apartment looked nothing like any of the ones on the villas website. Greeted by a whole pack of the owners very barky dogs who's presence was obvious not only for the noise and the fact they came into the apartment every time we left the door open. but also by the mess dogs naturally make being of abundance within the grounds of the "villa" (Leaving the door open I must add was the only was of letting light into the apartment, the only window looking onto a dark alleyway.)
We complained straight away and left the aforementioned establishment after one night checking into another complex instead.
All I can add to this is if you are thinking of staying at Villa Konstantin in Mykonos this summer then look at our experience, think of the dogs, the fact the room was nothing like the one advertised and the owners attitude.
Mykonos is a fantastic Island to visit and full of friendly local people who will be hospitable and treat you with respect. Its a shame this one establishment could give the Island a bad name.
Good Luck and have a great holiday :)
