Booked this accommodation as it was the last holiday that could accommodate our ski party size on the dates we needed. Recognised the limitations of 2 star, but thought we would make the most of it.
Had read some reviews prior to trip which did not sound promising, but thought they might be a bit over the top. I can assure you there were not. If you do not wish to take note of this review I advise you to research this hotel before you book.
I cannot begin to list how poor this hotel is, all I can say is, if you are fortunate enough to read this before you book, then book anywhere else, if not you have my best wishes. We checked in, viewed the room, checked out and then spent £2k on alternative hotel accommodation, money well spent. BE WARNED!
A contender for the worst hotel on the planet!!! Crystal refused to recognise any issues with Chamonix Sud Apartments and no doubt it will continue to appear in their brochure!

Similar to the previous review. My party of 10 had the misfortune of staying here as it was the only accommodation that could take 10 of us at last minute.
We are a mixed group of 4 adults and 6 kid’s ages ranging from 16 to 3.
The Chamonix Sud complex is on the outskirts of the main town, which we came to nickname "The Bronx".
It was full of broken glass, overflowing rubbish bins, used condoms, vomit, graffiti, and dog mess! Not to mention nightly disturbances of shouting, arguing and fighting.
The apartments were equally as appalling, small, dingy and squalid, we demanded to be moved, which we were eventually after a day of messing about.
We were moved to the nearby Riviera Maeva, which was a definite improvement, but still very basic. We were then expected to pay an upgrade fee!
How a company like Crystal can put their name to such sub standard accommodation is staggering. My advice is to avoid this whole complex!
One positive was the Chamonix Crystal Crèche was excellent.
